How to only allow vanilla/Optifine players to join a Minecraft server?

There are people that join my Minecraft server with Fabric/Forge loaders, any possible way to block them from joining the server if they're using anything other than Vanilla/Optifine?

If you want to check if a player is using Fabric or Forge when they try to join your Minecraft server, you can use a plugin to do this. There are several plugins available that can check the mods a player is using and block them from joining if they are using certain mods.

Minecraft server version has nothing to do with it's security, no version has any bugs that would allow for any sort of exploit to control the computer the server is on. Having people know you're IP is a different story, however all this really opens you up to is DDoS and DoS attacks, and these will only happen if someone gets really upset. If this is not a public server, and the IP will only go out to trusted individuals, there is almost no risk at all. If it is public, it depends on the type of server. An anarchy server will be high-risk, but a SMP will be low risk.

A potential solution will be to delete the players file from within the world folder. This will delete the inventory and all of the saved settings for the player thus removing the item. Inside of your server's files and folders you will find a world folder which contains another file that holds all of the individual player data files. If this is a concern and the player doesn't want to lose the rest of their inventory or saved information, you can have someone new log in, pickup the item, then delete their player file. Alternatively you can just reset the world if you don't mind doing so which can prevent future problems. If mods are every changed or updated it is recommended to start on a new world to prevent any issues such as this.

The Moon Whistle Cave Raider is located at Rock Slide Hall in a cave around 5957m. The cave has two entrances: one near the center of the wall at 5968m with a ledge sticking out of the cave, and one on the right side at 5980m that you'll need to climb into from the side. Find either one of these entrances then head into the cave to find the Moon Whistle.

While your Vaporeon is in the gym, you will continue to earn PokéCoins (up to a daily limit) for the number of days it remains defending the gym. Once your Vaporeon returns to you, you will receive the accumulated PokéCoins. So, it's not necessarily a negative outcome; you are still earning rewards while it's in the gym.

For a mod to work in multiplayer, the author needs to create a SMP version. The most common way is through bukkit. However if a mod adds new items, like the two examples you have given, playing SMP with it will require both a server mod and client mod to work together. This usually means the same developer or team needs to make both. If they don't provide both yet add new items, the mod is likely single player only. For combining several of these mods, they all need to use compatible methods of adding themselves. If one is a bukkit mod while the other is its own mod that conflicts with bukkit you're usually out of luck.

I have a list of things you could do to possible solve this issue. Check & Install Windows Updates: Use this shortcut Windows key + I to open the Settings. After that, you have to choose Update & Security. It will open the Windows Update settings by default. Now, you have to click the Check for updates button. Then, install the updates and restart your system. Run Automatic Repair: Use this shortcut Windows key + I to open the Settings. Then, you have to click on Update & Security. In the left pane, you have to click on Recovery. Now, you have to click on the Restart now button under Advanced startup. After that, you have to select Advanced Options → Troubleshoot. At last, you have to choose Automatic Repair and wait for the computer to reboot automatically. Re-register the Windows Store App: Go to the Start menu, search for 'powershell' in the search box. Right-click on the top result and choose Run as administrator. Now, copy and paste the below command and hit Enter. Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online Reboot your PC once the process gets completed. Reset the Windows Store Cache: You have to press the Windows key and R together to open the Run command. You can use the https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Commands/clear command. Example: /clear @a minecraft:flint_and_steel @a is a https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Target_selectors which selects all players. You can supply any item ID instead of minecraft:flint_and_steel. The Minecraft wiki should tell you the ID of any item on it's page. For example, see the https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Sword?so=search#ID page for all the different sword IDs. Because you need this to execute every tick, make sure this Command Block is set to "repeating" mode. Otherwise, it will only clear the items once.

Thanks to bco2135 in comments for starting to steer me in the right direction. Thanks to their suggestion to leverage scoreboard and customized objective tracking that way, this has allowed me to get limited execution on items in a single command block properly. There's follow-up for me to do here in additional questions, but at least the first part is handled here. Effectively, I have to do the following (assumes: cheats and op mode): Add a dummy objective I want to track /scoreboard objective add Tracker dummy Tracker Use an always active command block to add 0 to all players (effective on join) for this objective /scoreboard players add @a Tracker 0 Use an execute if entity conditional in the command block able to be triggered by a button: /execute if entity @p[scores={Tracker=0}] run ... ... specifying of course the command to execute when this is true.

If the world has been saved your items should still be there, so using the stop command is safe since the server saves the world before stopping. I still recommend everyone to manually save the world using the save command. Source: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Commands#stop
