My controller is strafing left when I hit both triggers

So, I've been playing Warframe lately, and I've noticed that occasionally, when I aim (hold LT) and then fire (hold RT) I strafe left.

I have done some testing, and I have found that it's less consistent if I stop moving before I aim, then fire. It also occasionally triggers if I move while I'm aiming and shooting.

I think it might be a dodgy input in the controller? But I'm not sure. What could be causing this?

Simply put, your controller may be off by a small amount. This can happen for a variety of reasons.

Your summed up question: What do you need to use a 360 controller on a PC and is there any difference in wired vs wireless? My summed up answer: If you are going with wired controllers then you just need the controller. They connect to PC and the Console via a USB cable. If you are connecting wireless then you need a receiver for your computer. These come in the Controllers marked for Windows (they contain a controller, receiver and batteries). Only one receiver is needed for up to 4 controllers to be connected at once. I have quite a few controllers for the 360 and they all work with the wireless receiver I got a couple of weeks ago. Even my special edition controllers for Fable and Halo 4. Hope this helps

Had this problem too, tried multiple fixes from many sites. (Button combos, reset via hole under L2, different USB cables, delete controllers from Bluetooth menu, etc...) Finally worked when I used the original USB cable to connect my controller.
Can I leave all endless missions, while in a party, just by leaving the squad, and still get all extraction perks, like loot, bonus affinity?

As of 2019-3-07, players can extract separately from Survival, Excavation and Defection Missions. • Individual Extraction: You can now extract individually from Survival, Excavation and Defection Missions. This means that if one player decides to leave at 10 minutes, the rest of the squad can soldier on! Simply stand on the extraction point and you will be extracted separately after a 60 second countdown. Leaving this way allows you to keep all progress and loot aquired so far. The original Wii controller contains just an accelerometer, so it is only able to capture simple movements, like up/down. Wii MotionPlus contains a gyroscope that captures more complicated movement. From Wikipedia: The [Wii MotionPlus] incorporates a dual-axis tuning fork gyroscope, and a single-axis gyroscope which can determine rotational motion. The information captured by the angular rate sensor can then be used to distinguish true linear motion from the accelerometer readings. This allows for the capture of more complex movements than possible with the Wii Remote alone. Laying the controller flat initializes the gyroscope so that it knows where position 0 is, so to speak, which then allows it to detect when and how far it moves away from that position.

Update 2015-11-05 You can now hold down the controller button for 4 seconds without launching Big Picture at the same time! This change has been in the beta channel for a while, but it seems to have made it to a stable release from this update post. Changed controller Steam/Xbox button behavior to fix a collision with the hold-down-for-4-seconds method of turning off the controller: Old behavior: Hold down 3 seconds to launch Big Picture (or single press if you were in desktop Steam). New behavior: Pressing once will change focus to Steam if it doesn't have focus. If it has focus, pressing once will launch Big Picture. Original Post According to a Steam community post, there are currently 3 options to turn off the Steam controller: Hold the Steam Controller's "Steam Button" Down for about 5 seconds If you're not already in the Big Picture mode, this has the downside of launching Big Picture Mode at the same time the controller shuts down. I would quantify this as a bug which needs to be addressed. Big Picture Mode Power Menu While the controller is on and in use by your PC, clicking the Big Picture Mode's Power Menu Button will list a 'Turn Off Controller' option. Idle Timer Leaving the controller alone for a length of time will cause the controller to turn off. The default setting is 15 minutes. This is configurable in the Big Picture Mode's Settings -> Controller menu, with 15 minutes being the minimum setting and 120 minutes being the maximum setting, with an additional option to have the controller never time out as well. Here's to hoping they fix the the first one.

If you're talking about progress in the single player campaign, game saves are stored locally on the console. To transfer them from your friend's PS4, plug in a USB-Stick or external hard drive and in the main console menu go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Copy to USB Storage Device There, search for your Advanced Warfare save files and copy them to your storage device. Then plug it in to the other console and go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data on USB Storage Device > Copy to System Storage and copy the files onto your own console. It's important that you are signed in with your own PSN account when you copy the files from your friend's PS4, because according to the PS4 User's Guide you need to have signed in at least once with the same account you used when you copied the saved data. If you have an active Playstation Plus subscription, you can also upload your save data to your cloud storage and download it on the other console. To do so, follow the same steps as above, but instead of copying onto a USB device, select "Upload to Online Storage" on your friend's console and "Saved Data in Online Storage" when copying the data to the other one. If you're talking about online progress: Your multiplayer progress in Advanced Warfare is stored on game servers online and are automatically associated with your PSN account, so you don't need to transfer save data for it manually.

There is no way to do this in the standard client of World of Tanks when viewing replays. However, it is possible to use a mod to add this functionality. The person who made the video you saw probably used such a mod. One free camera mod can be found here

I am pretty sure it is just for the primary target. I have tested this by setting Damage text setting to verbose and got myself a cannon on an engineer with +8 Health per Hit. Even though my cannon was hitting many mobs I get only one +8HP sign. I double checked my health globe too. It says the same thing. IT goes up by 8 every time. So the short answer is you get only 1 +Health per shot/hit. Otherwise imagine the cannon engineer exploiting a 4 slotted cannon with Blood Embers and blasting away at crowds... virtually invincible!!

To be honest, I really think it's a combination of overuse of your thumbs (~an hour) and the unfamiliar controller that's doing you in, causing "Gamer's Thumb". You said that you used Playstation controllers before, with no issue. Playstation controllers are a fair bit smaller, and a bit different in terms of layout compared to Xbox controllers (namely the left thumbstick and D-pad are switched). This would probably cause discomfort after a while, as you're not as familiar with this controller as you are with a PS controller. So, like in this post, give it a break, then come back to it after a while.

If it is the one I'm thinking of, it is called Inspirational Stories You can obtain this mission any time after the Assault on the Citadel. Located in the Supply bay holding all of the refugees of the war All it is, is a quest given by a Salarian asking you to capture how the war is affecting the refugees where you just go around the area and interact with a few areas with civilians around and then return to him (similar to the "scan the keepers" mission in ME1) It is nothing special and flashy, sadly. From ME wiki entry, linked above: After Solik presents his requests, there are three photo opportunity locations you need to take in the docks. -At the Memorial Hall where a salarian is consoling a grieving woman. -The area between Bay E24 and Bay E26, where a woman is having a conversation with a batarian. -The area between Bay E26 and Bay E28, where James is playing poker with three other players. There are also two other photo opportunity areas located at the crates in the Memorial Hall and a turian security officer at Bay E26. However, the footages are unsuitable for Solik's film and he will ask you to look for other photo opportunities. Note: There appears to be a glitch or a limit to the available photo opportunities where the option do not appear at the players playing poker. To resolve the issue, reload to a save game before the mission and do not take any unsuitable footage as mentioned above but go directly to the three locations instead. After taking the photos, return to Solik and give him the footage. You will receive 5 reputation, 210 experience and 5000 credits.

Really, this is quite embarrassing. I read further in the manual: and noticed that the quest map does indeed appear in the hero menu, in the center. I was looking for it on the outside points of the star.

Kha'Zix Q is a normal single target spell which deals physical damage and it does not apply on-hit effects. It does however benefit from Spellvamp and It will also apply Rylais slow and the Muramana passive (bonus damage to toggle). Feral flare will only proc with Autoattacks or spells that apply on-hit effects (Ezreal Q, GP Q, Yasuo Q etc) and not with other spells. Also a spellshield will block all spells, including those applying on-hit effects.

yes, the extractors: take damage (only) while their work cycles. when they are done and still alive, they don't loose any more health the more damage the higher the planet on earth i think i never took more than 45% damage. can always do two runs without loosing it entirely there It is also worth noting that Extractors will heal over time if you keep them put away, not extracting or waiting on a planet.
