Why can't I scan the batgirl suit as a solution to Riddler's riddle?

This is on PC, the Steam version of Batman: Arkham Knight.

I'm trying to solve the first Riddler's puzzle on Bleake Island, the solution to which is the Batgirl suit in the Clock tower as I understand. I've used the remote hacking device to open the closet.

I've opened the secret closet and I can see the Batgirl suit, but I don't know how to "solve" the riddle. I've tried going into Detective mode or zooming in, but the riddle isn't solved as shown in the https://youtu.be/6JN0vSWD890?t=79 .

I've tried exiting the game and restarting, and I've solved all the other main storylines

Any ideas?

I'm an idiot. I had to press and hold the scan key (X in my controls) to scan it, not just press X once ‍️

This can be a semi-common problem with different DLC and games for the PS4. Sony has included an option in the PS4 OS that let's you 'restore your licenses' which basically deletes the local licenses information and downloads it from the PSN servers:

Yes. I haven't done this personally, but I've seen videos of people attaching parachutes to an asteroid and deorbiting it. It's really quite simple, and the asteroids are relatively resilient. As for burning up or despawning, well that's just the same mechanic as everything else in the game. If you have a ship or piece of debris that isn't loaded and it enters the atmosphere, the game will despawn it. If you're trying to land an asteroid, then it'll be loaded, and thus won't be subject to that mechanic.

Founders' Island can be a bit tricky when it comes to trophy locations. If you have beat up all of the Riddler informants and still don't see them on your map, it may mean you need to go underground. Some of the trophies for the Founders' Island portion are underground in the subway section of the map. Be sure to check there for all of the rest of the items Here's also a video of where everything is:

Rings are one of the trickier (riskier) items in nethack to identify. Short of using a Scroll of Identify on them or (gasp!) putting it on, you might be interested in dropping them into sinks. Pro: You get a message that helps you figure out what the ring was. Con: You are very likely to loose the ring. Prior to v3.6, it was recommended to have a duplicate that you can Name. Now you can Name from your discoveries list, and don't actually need to have the "identified" item on your person. ... of course you should Name it something like "Test Subject" first to make sure it's on your discoveries list. Less effective and less damaging is to try on a ring that you know is uncursed. Altars & Pets are both good techniques for filtering out Cursed items. Unfortunately only a small number of rings are readily identifiable by simply wearing them, and many of those will more likely be cursed... Ilmari Karonen's excellent comment added in for posterity: Also, when trying on uncursed rings, be prepared for conflict (don't stand next to a powerful pet or peaceful creature), polymorph (be somewhere safe, and don't wear your best armor) and teleportation (be on a safe level -- or better yet, in Sokoban or some other non-teleport level -- and don't test unpaid rings in a shop unless you can handle Kops and an angry shopkeeper).

What is an enchanted book? According to the Minecraft Wiki, an enchanted book is an item which allows players to add enchantments to weapons, tools, or armor by combining the enchantment book with one of said items on an anvil. Can they receive any enchantment? Testing in creative and survival mode shows that books can receive any enchantment that a normal weapon/armor/tool/other can receive. An easy way to check is to go into creative mode and use the new search function to search for the term book. This will show you what all the enchanted books are. Can they receive more than one enchantment? According to the wiki, books may only have one enchantment. This can be tested by giving yourself a bunch of books and enchanting them, then throwing them into lava or whatever you wish to do with them. Since enchantments have different chances of occurring for different tools, materials, and at different levels, how are those probabilities different for books? This would be different for books since books are not diamond swords. However, this would have that many variables because unlike a sword, books can only be made from paper. Swords can be made from diamonds, iron, and other materials. You would have to test this to truly know, but if John tells us how many levels he invested into his enchanted books, we might be able to know. Right now, though, it appears that the enchantment gives you the highest level (ex. Protection IV, Sharpness IV, etc.)

I've looked into the GECK to find some information about the special attacks. They are a property of the weapon, so there is no nice overview. The AP costs vary per weapon, the other effects not, as far as I can see. The Back Slash on a knife has an AP cost of 16 (with a knife) and deals 0.7x damage. The Grand Slam on the baseball bat uses 35 AP, compared to 25 standard, and deals 2x damage. The Long Cut for the Ripper has an AP cost of 70, compared to 65 standard, and deals 1.2x damage. The Scrap Heap for the Thermic Lance has an AP cost of 70, compared to 65 standard, and deals 1.25x damage. The Mauler for Super Sledge has an AP cost of 48, compared to 38 standard, and deals 50% damage. This attack knocks down the enemy (if Stonewall perk is not present). The Lights Out for Police baton has an AP cost of 29, compared to 23 normal, and deals 1.25x damage.

As far as I can make out the only way to do this is to apply the poison to a weapon, and then pickpocket that weapon into someone else's inventory, then provoke them to attack you.

Right next to the cannon, every drone has a blue glowing battery-like thingy. You need to shoot this with your vulcan canon (the machine gun on your bat mobile). To perform two in the row, you need to destroy two drones like this in quick succession without getting hit (like getting combo meter up while brawling)

Go down the second pipe for a tanooki suit, but careful not to get any leaves or it goes to waste. MUSHROOM HOUSE: If you're lucky, you get a tanooki suit. WORLD 7 MUSHROOM HOUSE: This one is interesting. It only vends Tanooki suits, hammer suits, and frog suits. hehe. FORTRESS: The fourth block on the top of that overhang is a P-Block. You can imagine what that does.... ;) However, it'll create a door which has a Tanooki suit ready for you. DO NOT get the fireflower or you're screwed. Time is of the essence on this level.

I have worked out the issue and it was my own fault. I forgot that I was running the Synergy keyboard/mouse sharing application. It turns out the synergy server was receiving the keyboard input and trying to send it to another machine on my network. Turning off the service got the game working as expected (it's just weird that only some of the input was being sent off to the other computer...) - good to know if it ever happens again though.

Use the vulcan (machine gun) to hit them right in the sensors. There's a cutscene where you discover that fact. You get a critical by blowing them up by hitting that spot (it'll show as a yellow critical thing on the left side above the combo meter). You can also get a perfect hit by hitting that spot on the first shot. All using the vulcan of course. The sensors are the blue lights on the right side of the smallest drones for example.

If anyone kills Cow King for FIRST time (except, a person who has NOT killed Baal/Diablo, see below), then everyone INSIDE the Cow Level will get credit for the (hidden) Cow King quest and will NOT make the red portal anymore. If you don't want to complete the Cow King quest or are unsure, the safest place to be is in town (use Town Portal scroll!). Unpartying will do you no good. Watch your Mercenary and Summons as they can "accidentally" kill him, too. However, if you do not kill Baal (or Diablo, if you don't have the expansion) on that difficulty you will be unable to make the red portal, but you will never get credit for the quest to kill the Cow King (because you need to have killed Baal/Diablo to be able to start the quest). If this character kills the Cow King, everyone in the Cow Level who could make the red portal will still be able to open the portal. Any character who has previously killed the Cow King (can't open the red portal) can kill him again without affecting people who have not yet killed him (can open red portal). Alternatively, you can have one character (who's killed Baal/Diablo on that difficulty) make the portal, log out and then log in onto another character (who has NOT killed Baal/Diablo on that difficulty) you want to farm the Cows on. Side note: The Cow King is Lightning Immune on ALL difficulties So if you are Lightning Fury Amazon or a Nova Sorceress, you can avoid killing the Cow King by using Lightning skills (if you don't use a Mercenary or Valkyrie). The Cow King will always drop 8 stamina potions when he dies, you can (usually) use this as an indicator of whether or not it's safe to (blindly) murder all the other cows.
