Is it possible to play GTA V on Xbox 360 with the first disc only?

I recently bought GTA V for my Xbox 360. I received disc 1 and I still want to play but I don't want to pay for another disc. So my point is, is it possible to play without getting the second disc?

No, you need both disks to play the game. The first disk installs the game and the second disk allows you to launch it and play. You could try purchasing the missing disk off eBay, or get another copy of the game with both disks in it.

If a game needs updates, they will be downloaded if you are connected to the Internet. You can not update the data on the disc, so when you use the disc in a console that hasn't downloaded the updates yet, you will need to download them again even if you've downloaded updates while launching the game with that same disc on another console.

I had the same issue with steam version on my laptop. When I connected to another WiFi it worked without any error. But when I connected back to the first WiFi it would give the same error. So I followed these steps: Go to “cmd” and run as administrator. Than copy all this one by one ipconfig /flushdns : (clear dns cache) nbtstat –RR : (release and refesh NetBIOS names) netsh int ip reset : (reset ip settings) netsh winsock reset : (ResetWinsock Catalog) Finally restart your computer. I know you have ps3 but try to connect to another WiFi.

this is kind of dependant on what the game does. some games have specific wallpapers for achievements while others use a simple image. The custom backgrounds was part of the November 2014 update which was around the same time Far Cry 4 launched, so it's understandable they did not have specific backgrounds. It's also a third party game, so I'm not sure that they wanted to put in the extra work in creating images for each achievement. You can set a custom background to whatever you want, it doesn't have to be an achievement. You can read up on a guide and get a template for custom backgrounds here. but... to answer your question: no, there is no way to use 360 style achievements on the XB1

Two sources that I found seem to indicate that you can have a maximum of 2 players play Firefight in split screen on one console: Source One Source Two According to the second source, it states: No it does not have 4-player split screen for firefight. it does have 2 player split screen, 4 player online co-op, and you CAN use your 2 player split screen and pick up 1-2 others online for a 3-4 player match. The wiki for Firefight says you can use System Link to enable 4 player local play with split screen (2 people on each system). So if you are looking to play with the 4 character maximum locally, this is probably the option you are looking for.

Try a different monitor or TV and see what happens. If the effect is the same try a different hdmi cable (they don't break easily but they are not indestructible) If the problem isnt resolved, try a factory reset on the Xbox 360. If this doesn't help I'm afraid you have a faulty hdmi port on the Xbox 360. If you bought it from a store you can always try to see what the shop can do for you in terms of service like a replacement if that's still available. If you bought it from lets say ebay I'm afraid they sold you a broken Xbox 360 and maybe you can pick it up with them but I guess thats the risk buying from ebay.

No, cross-generation play is not possible in Destiny. If you have an Xbox 360 and a copy of the game for that, though, you can use your same characters and progress between the two platforms will be synced.

Turn on the Xbox using a plug & play while holding "Left trigger + Y" This resets your display settings. Also check the hdmi switch on the display cable, set it to tv not hdmi.

By definition, a region-free game will play on any console regardless of its region. Modding your console is only useful to play region-locked games on a console not from the correct region.

It took a good long time for to find this as well. Go into the co-op hub where you can see the big-screen display that shows things like steps taken. Stand in the center of the main platform and look at the board. The light bridge should be ramping down in front of you from right to left. Turn 90 degrees to the right; you should see the hanging surfaces that you portal into in order to fall on the bouncy plate. From here, you should be able to see into a hollow column on the right with a door and a couple buttons visible. Put a portal in and there and go!

There's no stamina bar, the only exception is when you do the Triathlon race. One way to find out when you are running low on stamina before starting losing health during "normal" activities it's by looking at the health bar, it starts flashing before starting draining your health.

No. Nothing will be able to be sent to your Xbox if it is not connected to the internet. So offline singleplayer will not be affected.

No, I have both discs installed to my drive, and I still have to swap the discs. Installing the game does nothing to prevent this. It simply reduces the load times somewhat.

How does the "face import patch work"? Make sure the latest patch is installed. Import you ME2 character. How you get your original Shep? As per this convenient guide and my own experience to corroborate (bolding and grammar correction is mine): During character creation stage, select the "Import ME2 Character" option to import your Mass Effect 2 character into Mass Effect 3... You CANNOT import Mass Effect 1 files directly into Mass Effect 3. You can only use Mass Effect 2 characters. Also note, that based on Shepard's actions and decisions in Mass Effect 2, there is a chance that Shepard died in ME2 and did not survive. If in your save game Shepard is dead, you will NOT be able to import Shepard into ME3. After you have imported Shepard from Mass Effect 2, you will be allowed to make changes to Shepard's appearance... You will also be allowed to change Shepard's class at this stage. More info on what imports on the wiki. You should note that "ME3 does support cloud saving for new or imported ME2 saves, but it does not support importing endgame saves directly from the cloud." as per the tutorial Do you need to start a new game with the import or can you use the end-game import? You need to start a new game with the import. Endgame import does not allow you to append in ME2 save data information. I don not believe it even takes you back to the character creation stage to find such an option. What will you lose by starting over with an imported save? You won't lose your achievements for restarting. You can have all your achievements reset on this game on your 360, but in this case it wouldn't be because you restarted as it is apparently some sort of Origin shenanigans. I'm not sure which perks you're referring to, but if it was anything related to level, powers, reputation, weapons, armor, mods, credits or bonus power, then those aren't going to carry over as that information is going to be pulled from the ME2 save. So your perks will be lost.

You need to finish normal mode to unlock hard mode. There is no cheat to unlock it, nor a hack.
