Can I still get Steam achievements after taking mods off?

I am planning to mod my game of Skyrim. However, I have not collected all achievements yet, but I have played a lot of the game by now. I plan on changing the game completely with many mods, though I might do those questlines I have not done yet. I know that achievements will not unlock, but if I were to do it again, with the mods removed, can I still get those Steam achievements, even if the quest was already done while modded?

If you go vanilla with newly created dragonborn and play the questline again then yes, you can get achievements.

However, you can use https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/245 (link is to Nexus) to unlock achievements while using mods. I'd rather use this mod than go vanilla, I can't play Skyrim without mods...

Yes, you can copy steam game files from one computer to anther to avoid having to download them again. Simply copy the game files from the 'common' folder of the steam library where they are installed. By default this will be something similar to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GAME NAME On the second machine copy these files to it's 'common' folder, then install the game as usual. When the steam installation gets to the bit where it would normally download the game files it will display 'Discovering existing files' instead. Once it has finished discovering the existing files you'll be able to launch the game. If you follow these steps and steam starts to download the game (instead of discovering the existing files) that means the files haven't been copied to the correct 'common' folder. This will work between different computers and accounts as long as the game is free, or as long as the new account owns/buys the game.

Trim Your Moustache — Get sucked into the riding mower. In 'Home, Sweet Home,' the last chore you're tasked with is to re-hang the bird house. When you do so, the Chef appears and tries to suck you into his riding lawn mower. If you toss the bird house onto the hook, rather than hang it while holding it, Octodad will be sucked into the whirling blades of the mower. Like the Trickshot-gun Wedding achievement, this one is a matter of practice and a little bit of luck. Make sure you're far enough away from the hook so that you don't hang it accidentally while still holding onto the bird house.

A comment on Steam: [...] parry windows and invisibility frames are tied to the frame rate. Sword & board 60fps is doable, but with a more fragile character that relies on rolling and parrying it's a mess. From this answer: [...] the active frame window for parrying (one of the most advanced combat maneuvers) is from 6 to 8 frames, I assume it is the same for kicking. That being said, the game runs at ~30 fps giving you a whole 1/5 of a second to input the commands together. Logically, at 60fps the time frame window of 6-8 frames would be 1/10-1/8 seconds, if indeed tied to fps.

I've beat Terran with Protoss using photon rush. Build probes constantly, 1st build probe will go to opponent, all others - go to minerals; 10-12 actually should be enough. Build the 1st pylon outside of the opponent's start location - if you build it in the opponent base (after the choke) he will attack the pylon with large amount of SCVs. The Pylon should be built as close to the opponent base as possible. Build 1 forge. Build 2 cannons close to the opponent base - they will shoot up the ramp soon. When these cannons are almost complete, send a probe to the opponent's base and build 1 cannon (you 1st pylon should give enough space for 1-2 cannons). Opponent will try to attack your building cannon, but your first 2 cannons should be able to protect them. Keep you probe from being killed by SCVs/marines. Build new pylon close to new cannon, once the new pylon is done, build 1-2 additional cannons not to far away from the 3rd cannon; it should be able to protect the new building. The new cannons should also be able to attack the command center. After the last cannons been build they will start shooting the command center. The AI will give up quickly. I did the above and finished sometime around 4:30.

No it's not possible to take the catapult with you. By default, you will take 4 archers and 3 builders (assuming you have the numbers). It is also possible to take 2 knights and their 4 archers each. You will also take the mount you are riding, and any hermits on your back, as well as any coin in your purse.

I've read if you do the Downtown Underground race, you can get credit for 50 jumps off the one jump located during the race. More than a few people simply looped back some 49 times to perform the jump and get the achievement. I will say that I gave it a quick try in a bike, and it didn't work for me, but others said it worked fine in a car. Hopefully it allows you to knock it out after 3 quick passes. Here's a video of it in action -

If you simply turn on a second controller and complete the race with one of the two, the achievement will be unlocked. There's nothing special about it, just a split-screen event needs to be completed. If you were to be playing the Steam version, theoretically you could do it all on one keyboard if you don't have ghosting problems, otherwise a keyboard and gamepad or wheel combination would work.

For mods in general, be sure your currently installed version of Civilization is compatible with the mod. In this specific case, the Caveman2Cosmos mod did not work because Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword was not patched to the latest Beyond the Sword version, 3.19. The in-game patching has not worked for me on the three computers I've tried with it, but fortunately it is also possible to manually download and install the v3.19 patch from the downloads section of Firaxis Games' website. This worked like a breeze and I am now able to play the awesome C2C mod.

I found that the easiest way to get this was to use a Speed car, then start at one end of I-88 and head towards the other end, driving in the oncoming lane to constantly refill your boost bar. Just stay in oncoming and get near misses to keep your bar full. It's advised to start a Stunt Run and then try this because you will have less oncoming traffic.

1. Is there any way to reset the Terraria achievements? Yes, and no. While steam currently has implemented no official method i which to reset achievements (and it is unlikely they ever will), it is possible to use external mods to reset your achievements. One problem that may arise is the likelihood of your account getting VAC Banned by resetting your achievements. I do not believe that this problem is unfounded and I recommend that you just resign to the fact that as of right now, resetting your achievements in steam legitimately is simply not a possibility. And alternate method however, is to set up a new steam account and play from there. 2. What is a good way to farm steam trading cards in Terraria? I would first like you to consult this website to get a better understanding of how Steam Trading Cards work. Simply put, you are not able to "farm" steam trading cards. Instead, you are able to get a certain amount of cards by simply playing the game, through the opening of booster packs or by trading with other members of the community. Most games will drop a number of cards equal to about half the number of cards in that game's set of cards. For example, Half-Life 2 has 8 cards in its set, you can receive 4 card drops by playing it. You'll need to collect the other half of the set from other community members. So how can you get steam trading cards? You can get trading cards simply by playing one of the participating games. As you play, you'll occasionally receive trading card drops which will be placed in your Steam Inventory. Another viable method is by getting Booster Packs. Essentially, these booster packs contain trading cards. Once you have received all of your card drops, you become eligible for a booster pack, which is a set of 3 trading cards that may include both basic and foil cards. Booster packs are granted randomly to eligible users as more badges are crafted by members of the community. Make sure you log in to Steam each week to maintain eligibility. Once eligible, your Steam Level increases your rate of receiving a booster pack drop: Level 10: +20% increase in your drop rate Level 20: +40% increase in your drop rate Level 30: +60% increase in your drop rate Level 40: +80% increase in your drop rate Level 50: +100% increase in your drop rate (i.e. the rate has doubled) Etc. Concerning the TR_XXX.esm, you're most likely trying to use Tamriel Rebuilt (good choice!) Antediluvian Secrets, which requires Map 1 (Telvannis) as well, so I guess the latter has been forgotten. Concerning the warning, this means that one of the plugins you are using was saved using a different version of the game main files, e.g. native Morrowind.esm while you're using the Morrowind Patch Project. You can usually ignore this, although you should at least once check whether you're accidentally using a Morrowind-without-Bloodmoon version of a plugin that also has a Morrowind-with-Bloodmoon version if you have Bloodmoon installed or vice vers. If you want to get rid of the warning for good, you have to open the respective plugin's .esp file with the TES Construction Set (using your actual Morrowind.esm etc versions as base files) and simply save it again (keep a backup though). That should update the claimed dependency without modifying anything else.

While the other special gift-awarding christmas achievements were meant to be gentle introductions into their respective games, both of Team Meat's games - Super Meat Boy and the Binding of Isaac, both already incredibly difficult games as it is - chose to pick the most insanely difficult achievements imaginable. So, hopefully you didn't spend too much time trying to get the gift for this achievement, as even for SMB veterans this achievement takes a long time. Level 3 is insanely easy due to a glitch that allows you to jump over the walls. However, assuming you don't want to cheat, the rest of the levels will just have to be beaten the old fashioned way: thru sweat, tears, and profanity. Have fun!
