How to shout in Skyrim on the Switch?

I have killed three dragons and it is equipped to my ZL button. Every time I press ZL, it just punches people though. What am I doing wrong? I'm trying to shout for the Greybeards and it won't let me. Please just give me step-by-step instructions.

Under the default controls, Dragon Shouts (and other Powers) are assigned to the R button.

zL is to use your off-hand (left hand weapon/spell, or block with shield)

zR is to use your main-hand (right hand weapon/spell)

Powers and Dragon Shouts do not count as normal Magic Spells; they do not use your hands to cast.

Every Nintendo game I checked has that "TRA-HAC" part, that should identify the Nintendo company. This is true for every copy I own except for Super Bomberman R, made by Konami, and its code is "TSA-HAC". So my guess is that the first part identifies the software house. https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/5yyrav/what_is_hac/ itself is a mystery and it's speculated to stand for Handheld And Console. AUS definitely stands for Australia, since my Italian copies have ITA. "ALZAA" instead is an alphanumeric unique code that identifies the game (it should belong to Pokemon Sword). Those codes start from "AAAAA" which, I can confirm, is actually The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, since it's the very first game lauched for the Nintendo Switch. So I guess every other game just follows it... alphabetically.

The game card itself won't be damaged in any way since, like you said, the data is read only. The only thing to really be wary of is if the game is in the middle of saving or has some sort of auto save function. Removing the game card during saving data could potentially corrupt that save data.

I would free up space by deleting saves. Also make sure you have enough mb and gb to play game. If it still doesn't work then I suggest getting a horse to travel a bit faster.

In order to get a microSD that will be as fast as possible, but also hopefully work with future Switch models, what specs would I want? Based on the following assumptions: You want the fastest SD card possible. Nintendo might release a Switch with the fastest SD card reader available. You'll want to buy the fastest SDXC card (up to 2 TB) possible. According to https://www.cameramemoryspeed.com/sd-memory-card-faq/cameras-with-uhs-ii-sd-card-interface/ : UHS-II cards are backwards compatible and can be used in any card that supports SD cards, but the cards operate at lower speed. So the Nintendo Switch should be able to read UHS-II cards as well. Also, according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SD_card#SD_Express , a new bus speed specification was released in 2018 named "SD Express", supporting speeds beyond UHS-III. For legacy application use, SD Express cards must also support High Speed bus and UHS-I bus. So the Nintendo Switch should still be able to read those cards. Do note that UHS-II and newer achieve their higher speed by introducing a second row of pins [ https://satechi.net/blogs/news/ultra-high-speed-uhs-sd-memory-cards-differences-between-uhs-i-vs-uhs-ii ]: SD Express in particular reserves space for additional pins: The Express bus re-uses the pin layout of UHS-II cards and reserves the space for additional two pins that may be introduced in the future. These additional pins may increase the cost of an SD card. Considering the Nintendo Switch doesn't support them, it makes sense for Nintendo to recommend UHS-I over UHS-II for economic reasons. Mods on console have a pretty easy answer to that question. 1- If they give you the option, like with Skyrim, you can access a checked number of plugins. Pretty sure Skyrim is the only one with that tho. 2- You can't with a normal console. A homebrewed one maybe, but that is outside the scope of this site. (Homebrews jump into piracy real quick) The thing is, for most mods, what you need to do is modify or add game files. 2 things that on consoles, where you can't access individual files, cannot do.

Do you have the game through Steam? If so, try going to Steam and opening the game in your library. Right click the game and select "Properties." From here, select "Set Launch Options" and input "+console" Doing this will tell the game through Steam to force the Console.

Is it just some firmware update that forces the screen to dim, thereby increasing the battery life? No, this would barely be noticable. The major difference is that the Tegra X1 (T210 "Logan") has been "die-shrinked", which means it is built on a smaller, more efficient process (in this case 16nm instead of 20nm) which improves efficiency leading to less power consumption and thus a longer battery life. It's now called Tegra X1+ (or T214 "Mariko").

Ownership of a digital game is tied to the account. If there is no account on a console that owns the game, you can't download it- there's essentially no difference between you and someone who has never bought Skyrim in their life. Your only options at this stage are either recovering the old account or buying a new copy of Skyrim.

I'm only a level 18 mage and I'm still in chapter one, but I can answer a few of your questions. 1) Spell cards can be bought from any vendor that carries mage type gear. The mages guild is an excellent location to buy spellcards, because it has four different vendors that can carry them, and not to mention all of the other mage gear that they sell, such as staves, carrier/summon/modifier cards, robes, hats, etc. But apart from the mages guild, most of the cities have at least one vendor that sells these items as well. Also, if you're wanting to buy the necromancer cards then you'll need to watch for unobtrusive citizens on street corners that sell them (they're considered contraband). 2) Same as #1 3) I've seen some people say that you should max out one or two schools as you level up, but I've had no problem taking critters down and I have points in all of my schools. I think I have at least 5 points into every school. I've only got a couple into my Summons though, because I won't usually summon more than 3 creatures at once, but again, I've seen some guys go gung-ho with the summons and max it out so that they can summon ten guys at once. Me, I'd rather have just a couple of guys that can draw off a few of the critters while I nuke hard and quick. For the record, fire is my favorite school, because I've found in chapter 1 that not very many critters are resistant to it, whereas it seems like quite a few critters are resistant to either frost, shock or death. 4) The mage's guild is South of Chezz (I forget the exact name of the city, but it's the big city that is right next to a second city in northern Hatmandor, and it's the more eastward of the two... it has the merchants guild in it as well) in Hatmandor. You likely ran right by the mage's guild during your progression in chapter 1 and didn't even realize it. You may have found a teleporter called Queen's Crossing (again, I forget the exact name), and it is right off of the teleporter. Just a suggestion or two: 1) You're high enough in level that you'll be able to go for the master's staves... do it. They give you a high increase in damage for the given school. Get master staves in all of the schools and use the right one for the type of magic school that you're casting at the moment. 2) Use ricochet whenever you have multiple critters to take down (which is nearly all of the time). It is well worth it. 3) Use summons to keep the critters off of you. Casting with critters beating on you really takes the fun out of playing a mage. 4) Don't forget that you can defend with your staff during those times that a critter or two is beating on you. Also, staves in general don't do the best bludgeon damage, but they can still take a critter down if you're really in a tight corner. However, like I noted above, I'm only in chapter 1 still, so this may change depending upon the level of the critter. Good luck!

You can find videos directly comparing the Switch to Steam Deck for some titles, including https://youtu.be/HpIwB7jLwxs . The steam deck has more impressive/modern hardware, so all things being equal, it will perform better. All things are not always equal, however, so it will depend on the game. As an example, No Man's Sky doesn't support multiplayer on the Switch, which for many will be a big factor if they owned both consoles and were trying to decide which version to buy. The steam deck will run either the linux version of software or will run the windows version via Proton. Proton games vary in how they perform, so, again, it may vary by the game which version will perform better.

The strawberries inside the PICO-8 mini-game don't count for any achievement. And for that matter, the game might not even keep track of how many you collect. So the PICO-8 mini-game is irrelevant to your global number of strawberries. Beating it only counts for its own achievement of beating it. (Note: the achievements are only on PlayStation, Xbox and PC, but not Switch that has no achievements as of February 2022).
