Why isn't my data merge command working?

I'm trying to make a repeating command block that makes an arrow have an entity riding it when shot (I'm using a pig here as an example) but for some reason it says it modified the data, but it isn't working. Can anyone help please?

My command:
```
data merge entity @e[limit=1,type=minecraft:arrow] {Passengers:[{id:pig}]}
```

Unfortunately, you cannot modify/merge an entity's Passengers tag after being spawned. You can only modify this tag when the entity is being spawned.

In general the easiest way to remove hostile mobs is to switch to Peaceful mode, but I'm not certain that will work with ender dragons. If it doesn't work or isn't an option, you could place a command block and use the command: /kill @e[type=!Player] This will kill everything other than players, but ideally it should be called from a command block for it to work correctly. In this case if you only need to kill ender dragons, you can use the command: /kill @e[type=EnderDragon]

What i would suggest is downloading the server package again, and copying the new properties file into the folder where your Minecraft server is located. If you have edited anything in the file (which it seems you have) try running it stock settings and see if that works. Then, change settings one at a time to ensure that you can see what setting is causing the issue. I've run a Minecraft server on Windows and Linux, and never encountered this problem, but hopefully this solves yours.

/tp has such a feature: /execute as @p at @s run tp @s ~ ~ ~ facing entity Note that teleporting a player every tick makes their movement very jittery and hard to control for the player.

Calling players by starting with @ (for example, @a) won't work with bukkit. This isn't just the /effect command.

Setting the ownership of an item in this way basically means you can take it safely (since it is now yours) rather than stealing it. In regards to the container I'm guessing that it will make it a safe place to store your things, at least thats what the highest rated answer over here would suggest.

In order for testing for NBT to work, the NBT you provide in the command has to match the NBT Minecraft stores for the player exactly, or the command will not work. The first command does not work because data tags for NBT need to go in a tag called tag and you set forceField:1b inside the display tag and test for it outside the display tag. Fixing those two errors produces the command: /execute as @a[scores={souls=1..},nbt={Inventory:[{Slot:-106b,id:"minecraft:shield",tag:{display:{forcefield:1b}}}]}] run function kits:forcefieldenchant

You opened the extra list with a square bracket, but then didn't close it. You have two quotation marks at the end of "dark_blue"". Fixing those, the command will work: tellraw @p {"text":"(Mission #1)","color":"blue","extra":[{"text":"There are FungusKing_III heads hidden around the museum. See if you can find them all!","color":"dark_blue"}]}

I did a quick redstone work. I think that you will compact it. I will explain it anyway. there are 4 output states. (not considering 0th state) 1st state -> block in front of white wool 2nd state -> block in front of megenta wool 3rd state -> block in front of yellow wool 4th state -> block in front of blue wool mechanism: an dropper is facing in hopper. also hopper is facing in the dropper. so when the hopper is unlocked, swords will flow into the dropper. the input button is not visible in this image. it is on the sandstone block directly next to the dropper. when you press input button once , sword gets dropped in the hopper, the signal strength of comparator increases and you get output as stage 1. on second press you get output state 2, and so on... when you are in 4th state and press the button again, hopper gets filled with anoter sword, thus signal strength of comparator increases and with the pulse extender piston retracts thus flushing all swords from hopper back to dropper.

The problem here is that Minecraft will read the Command string as: Command:"/testfor @p[r=7] {Inventory:[{id:" The first " starts the string where you want to start it, but then the next " ends it early. I'm not sure if I'm missing something pretty obvious but you should just be able to do: execute as @e[type=husk,tag=remake] if data entity @s {OnGround:1b} run tag @s add looted This adds the tag looted to any husk with the tag remake if they are not touching the ground

Unfortunatly, the Bedrock edition of minecraft has no access to nbt in commands, so giving yourself this item is impossible.

So when you combine grimoire stones, you need at least 3 stones, and it results in 1 stone. The first stone you select decides how many skills the resulting stone can have. I.e. if you pick a stone with 2 skills on it, the resulting stone can have at most 2 skills. Then, the first TWO stones you pick decide what skills the resulting stone can have. For example, your first stone has Provoke and Front Guard, and the second stone has Fortify. The resulting stone can choose from Provoke, Front Guard, and Fortify for its skills. And finally, the third stone is there only to add an equipment bonus; its skills do NOT matter. What this does is allow a character to equip items outside of their usual allotment of gear. Take Simon for example; he comes with a sword stone, which is why he comes with a Scramasax, even though he's a Medic, which can't normally equip swords. So let's run through a full synthesis here. You've got 3 stones, and they're chosen in this order. First, a stone with two skills, Provoke and Front Guard. Second, a stone with one skill, Fortify. Third, a stone an equipment bonus for spears. With these stones, you can make a stone with 2 skills, choosing from a skill pool of Provoke, Front Guard, and Fortify, and it will have a spear equipment bonus. Also, no, a grimoire stone cannot grow on its own, only through combining stones. Hope I answered everything satisfactorily.

You can add all players to a scoreboard and keep all other players unaffected by adding 0 to the score for everyone: /scoreboard players add @a deaths 0 All players without a score will have their score set to zero. All other players will be unaffected.

If you are playing education edition from Bedrock edition, then you'll need to set the player's gamemode to survival (or adventure), then kill them: /gamemode s @p /kill @p
