Can Reg win the fight against Ozen in Hello Abyss mode?

In Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness, there's a boss fight between Reg and Ozen in the second layer of Hello Abyss mode. When I lost the fight a cutscene played and the story progressed like the anime the game is based on.

Is it possible to win the fight against Ozen in Hello Abyss mode? If so, what happens?

Yes, the video below shows Reg beating Ozen in Hello Abyss mode. The same cutscene will play regardless of whether you win or lose the fight.

Do you by chance happen to have the Ecology Survey subquest? Check the quest tab - if that is the case, you are searching for some specific creature. Hint 1: which you probably can't find because the 2d map makes you assume they are above when you should look below instead Hint 2: either climb down or enter the zone from the Edge of the Abyss and you should be at the right level

So long as you have the white soap stone you can begin helping other players whenever you want. You just use your white soapstone at a location and it'll appear in the worlds of other players at the same location, provided they are within 25% of your soul memory and the difference between your level and theirs is no greater than ((your level + 10) * 1.10). The location of your summon sign in an area isn't of huge importance, it just depends on whether you want to help them clear out the area first or not.

The Moon Whistle Cave Raider is located at Rock Slide Hall in a cave around 5957m. The cave has two entrances: one near the center of the wall at 5968m with a ledge sticking out of the cave, and one on the right side at 5980m that you'll need to climb into from the side. Find either one of these entrances then head into the cave to find the Moon Whistle.

You can switch your equipped arrow, bullet, or fishing bait type by pressing up or down on the d-pad. (If you are using keyboard, press 1 or 3 instead)

Check your card collection for the Mad Scientist card. That is the reward from the fight if you completed it. If the next fight is available in adventure mode then that also indicates that you completed the previous fight. You just missed the animation/notification of the cards you get/got.

Wait Mode skill tree appeals to a Tactician whereas Active Mode appeals to a Strategist and the benefit of spending AP in WAIT MODE is great should you find more comfort in a tactical role. The AP in wait mode is designed to give players the same scope of information afforded in Active Mode, standing still. For example, on PS4 Libra is activated with R1 (RB in XBOX), but you have to select the target and you typically only have a brief moment you can check Libra during combat. In WAIT MODE, you can be more precise in your actions because you have time to plan while you do not move. As long as you don't plan on playing in Wait Mode, you're fine without using AP in the skills. If you do plan on it at some point however, Wait Mode is weakened unless you use the AP. Fortunately, the AP required is minimal compared to other skill trees.

After losing, you can call him out for being a cheat, and then get into a fist fight. When you win, he admits to cheating and offers to arm wrestle again without cheating. You'll beat him easily without the steroids.

That should be poison, the blue-type one to be precise. The good new is that it "only" speeds up your hunger loss. The bad new is that since this is a Made In Abyss game, poison does not "time out" like it does in many other games (see: Demon Soul's Swamp of Sorrow) but will keep you company forever, until you use an antidote. That hopefully you have unlocked, otherwise... have fun with your increased metabolism for a while! BTW, since you mentioned poison, I think you may want to be quite careful should you meet some "friendly" creature that you may probably guess if you actually saw the original anime / manga. There is a special type of poison that can't be cured at all unless you have access to some very specific gimmick in the game (missable and worthy of the "Guide dang it!" page on TV Tropes...) and... well, let's just say that many player consider saving while under the effect of that status a possible softlock cause... This should not be a real problem in the "Hello Abyss" tutorial mode, but please take care when you start the REAL game and things gets a lot worse...

Yes, as lunboks explained, you can sprint-fly by sprinting and then flying. I ran a couple tests, and it doesn't actually make you go faster; count in the longer setup time and it's slower. I've put up a 100m course, where I fly straight for 100 meters. I get myself a few meters for getting a running start, so that this doesn't skew the results. Here's the result. Make sure subtitles are on. For those who can't view YouTube: Once you remove the setup time, the speed is just about the same. Flying without sprinting oddly wins by a couple tenths (9.33 vs 9.38, roughly), but I just put it to a problem that exists between my monitor and my chain (was I perfectly centered? perfectly aligned? did I avoid swerving at all? etc.).

Clickers have an odd shaped head and make a clicking noise. They also stumble or limp when they walk. Runners walk more normally and appear more human.

The player limit for coop is 5. If you want to play with more people than that, there are a few versus modes available which support 5v5 (10 players total).

Difficulty is not (directly) tied to level, but rather Act completion. You can't go around in Nightmare mode until you've beaten all of Normal mode. And what's more, you can go back at any time, so even if there are normal-mode specific achievements, you won't lock yourself out of them by rushing to Nightmare.

there are commands (cvars) that does this. Your sv_maxrounds "x" is actually mp_maxrounds "x" - x being the amount of rounds you'd like. There's also some other time-related cvars such as: mp_maxrounds // Max amount of rounds before map is going to change mp_timelimit // Map's timelimit mp_halftime // Whether you'd like to have a half time or not mp_roundtime // Amount of minutes that you'd like each round to be .. and so on. You probably got them by catching Ikenosuke. Mostly found on layer 2, so either Terminal Pond or Edge of the Abyss. (note: that said, some quest have a low chance to give these as a reward.)
