Do Dota coaches get paid and what percentage of winnings? If a team win TI do coaches get paid a percent too? I think if they get paid they would try harder.

Yes, coaches for pro teams get paid. The percentage depends on their ability to negotiate beforehand.

If a team win TI do coaches get paid a percent too?

Either the percentage is negotiated before TI (for the length of their contract) or involves a separate negotiation in the event that they make TI (if they're a lower tier team). The coach's ability to get a portion of the TI prizepool depends on their ability to negotiate; they may forgo the percentage for a flat fee. This is kind of less specific to Dota and more to jobs in general; it's all their ability to negotiate.

I've had this happen before, and you do indeed get the cards. You just won't know which cards you earned (unless you remember the number of each card you had before...). It's happened to me multiple times, with crown chests, free chests, and win chests. I can usually tell that I still got the rewards because of my gold (which I tend to remember) or my gems (in the case of crown/free chests).

A

In order to obtain the feather, you first need to purchase the Mighty Eagle upgrade. That unlocks the Mighty Eagle, which you can use to perform massive destruction in any level. Using the Mighty Eagle automatically completes the level, and the feather is filled up based upon the number of points you scored. If you do enough damage and get enough points, the feather is filled to 100% (Total Destruction) and the feather is shown on the stage select for that level. The Mighty Eagle can always be used on levels you have completed, and it can also be used to bypass levels that you find difficult, though this use is on a timer - you can only use the Mighty Eagle to skip a level once an hour.

If you are an admin on the server, you can do /meyourmessage, and you'll get rid of the <>, but add a * at the beginning of your name.

Lina should be able to zone out Dark Seer. Lina has the 2nd highest attack range in the game(after Techies) and she should be standing in the woods/sideshop autoattacking the Dark Seer. Keep in mind that Dark Seer is arguably the best offlaner atm. He's the tankiest level 1 hero after Spirit Breaker and Ogre Magi (and Medusa with mana shield). As for Phantom Assassin, I would recommend killing the creep with the ion shell first. She could also go for last hits with dagger. Lina could go for a bottle, to keep Phantom Assassin/ herself safe. EDIT: As Phantom Assassin, a battlefury is a common item in general, the component called Ring of health is an amazing item in lane. People sometimes also just buy a Ring of regen vs a dark seer because of the cheap cost. NOTE: Ring of regen, Ring of health, Void stone, Perseverance and Sage's mask are partially shareable. From the wiki: This means that other heroes can pick them up and benefit from the effect of the item, but cannot sell or upgrade the item. Which means your support could just buy a ring of health and give it to you for you to use in lane.

Buy Orders are available on the Steam market: (see the FAQ) What is a buy order? When buying a commodity items, you specify the price you want to pay, and when an item comes available at that price the purchase completes. If there isn't an item available immediately at that price, then that request to purchase stays active until an item listed at the right price comes along. This request to purchase is called a buy order. The buy order price is the maximum amount that will be spent; if an item comes along for a cheaper price, you'll only pay that lower price. But these buy orders are only available for commodity items. What is a commodity item? A commodity is a kind of item where all the items are identical, and can be traded interchangeably. There aren't individual listings for commodity items on the market; instead you place an order to purchase, and an item is selected for you. This is very helpful when trying to buy items that are very frequently traded, and item listings can appear and disappear very quickly. And since Dota 2 items tend to have different gems socketed (especially the immortals), they don't count as commodity items and buy orders are therefore not available for them. As far as I could see, buy order are not available for any dota 2 item, regardless if these items do have a gem socketed or not. I assume it is because of the ability to add sockets to normal items and thus changing them.

When you reset a game you will get Karma and Paragon. Karma: Karma is gained when you reset with more than 35 kittens. Karma gives +10% happiness for having it, and 1% happiness for each point as well. This does have a diminishing effect to keep it from becoming too over powering. The exact numbers on the diminishing effect are currently unknown. 40 kittens -> 1.00 Karma 50 kittens -> 2.00 Karma 62 kittens -> 3.16 karma 67 kittens -> 4.13 karma 73 kittens -> 5.07 karma 80 kittens -> 6.00 karma 89 kittens -> 7.02 karma 99 kittens -> 8.05 karma 110 kittens -> 9.00 karma 123 kittens -> 10.03 karma 137 kittens ->11.05 karma 152 kittens ->12.05 karma Paragon: Paragon is received for resetting at over 70 kittens. Also for getting some achievements it is neccesary to reset the game. Reset or Wipe? There is a difference between resetting and wiping. When you wipe the game you will destroy all your progress. You won't get any Paragon or Karma points when you do this. If you reset you do get Paragon points and Karma and you won't lose all your game progress. NOTE: It'll take some time before you are back at where you are now if you reset the game, don't assume it'll go much more faster. I one sense, this is the same as asking: "When can I solo kill an enemy hero?" When you can reduce their HP to zero faster than they can do the same to you; it's the same for Roshan. I've soloed with Life Stealer using armlet, deso, hyperstone and rage. Armor reduction is very helpful when fighting Roshan, solo or otherwise. Some combination of armor reduction, attack speed and self healing would all be good for a solo attempt. I'd say you really just have to learn this by experience. You could use cheats to set up experiments with different heroes and items.

That sounds like a bug. One kill is good for the first promotion. I have never read anything that suggested soldier advancement was slower on Classic.

The skill that appears next to replays is linked to the winrate on which dota 2 matchmaking is based, and perhaps profile level. So if you are low/mid skilled can get to play in high skilled rated games to balance the teams. You can use this website to search for users and yourself, and check the available stats recorded: DotaBuff .

Official description is: Coin Wagering allows players to earn coins by predicting their match victories. Before a match begins, players place a Wager of Compendium Coins. When the match begins, the Wagers from all players are added together, minus 5%, to form the total Coin Pool. After the battle, each player on the victorious team wins a percentage of the Coin Pool based on their Wager compared to the rest of their team. So, atleast one player from both teams need to wager the coins for winnings/loss. I am going to play today, Will keep this updated. Also, now we have a chance to win bonus coins and cap of 5% is removed from total winnnings.

You're correct that Teleportation isn't channeling. However, it is interruptible. It has a custom 'cast point', which in this case is 3 seconds. Every spell has a cast point (sometimes it's 0), and if spells are interrupted or cancelled prior to the cast point, they don't go on cooldown. This is the same concept behind stop cancelling a spell that you decide you don't want to cast.
