What is the #1 Populat Target medal given for? it's not related to deaths as I managed to get it in a round where I never died, and it's not most damage taken since there's a separate https://i.imgur.com/thcR8bb.jpg medal.

According to analysis done by https://twitter.com/LeanYoshi/status/1581407920574857217 , the "#1 Popular Target" medal is awarded to the player who is most often seen within the field of view of the enemy team members' crosshairs (regardless of distance).

On https://leanny.github.io/splat3/medals.html# , they have a list of all the medals and the criteria for earning them.

From what i can tell you just get them as you go from looting, surviving and killing. They refresh every 24 hours and are spent towards exp as far as i know. They “rank up” as you go and i assume that will determine how much experience you get.

In anarchy battles, you will always get 8 points on your rank for a win. Any way the win came. What changes is the points lost on a loss. -1 on C, -2 on B, -3 on A, -4 on S and -5 on S+. It is also unbothered by how you lost, just that you lost. https://splatoonwiki.org/wiki/Rank It is currently unknown for series battles, but I would guess it doesnt change anything either. Apparently (and sadly), yes. The most annoying thing is that players will lose their food and drink ticket uses if they disconnect. Or, if another player disconnects at the start and you’re all kicked out. https://gamingintel.com/server-communication-errors-disconnects-plague-splatoon-3/ .

You might check your stats on www.bungie.net, you should be able to see all the stats it collects for campaign and matchmaking just by logging in with your Windows Live ID. [Update] I just checked mine, after you login there's a "Medals" link right under "Career Stats" on the left hand navigation. I believe that is what you're looking for.

Record-score Setter is awarded in Tower Control when you ride the tower closest to the enemy team's goal point. I'd assume that it is very similar in Rainmaker, being awarded when you bring the Rainmaker closest to the enemy base from your team.

In Splatoon 3 single player campaign you can collect many hidden collectibles, but all of them (after checking a couple of collectibles walkthrough on Youtube) seem to be located only in the main hub sites, as you have already noticed. After a quick look into it, you could differentiate them this way: Both do matchmaking trying to put you into games with players of similar skill level and relatively good connection to each other. However, in Open, you're able to bring your friends with you (so this way you might bring a way weaker or way stronger player with you). In Pro you're restricted to queue solo and the game will strictly try to find something it considers fair and with you not being able to influence who you're playing with.

This can only be done if the target is next to a ledge that is specifically made for pushing enemies over — in other words, it has to be scripted. To do this, just press the action key (whatever you have it binded to) while in front of the target.

The Crashed Red Ship defaults to being owned by Nobody. You have to manually change all the parts of the ship to being owned by "Me." I imagine this will be changed in some upcoming patch.

I believe you can simply press F3 on your keyboard to get the information about your biome, position, and the targeted block. If you move your cursor onto the hopper, on the bottom right side of your screen you should see a line that reads: Targeted Block minecraft:xxx(block your cursor is on) If you are targeting a complex block with multiple parameters(that is, a block with different stages/functions, i.e. wheat growing, which displays different ages) another line should pop up underneath which displays alternate parameters. In the case of a hopper, it should display the contents of that hopper. *Note: This is concerning Minecraft Java Edition, release 1.13. This may not be standard between different versions.

Checkpoint positions in Tower Control are map-specific. Sturgeon Shipyard is the only map in Splatoon 3 with two checkpoints per team instead of three. I verified this by using Recon Mode to visit all 12 maps.

I believe you you guys are wrong. Many medals do stack. The 2 life medals will give two extra heart containers. Also, the cursed medal does not seem to nullify static effects. With the cursed medal in your bag you still get an extra heart container from a life medal, you still get extra ammo from ammo bags, and the bug medal still works with the cursed medal as well. Also other items like ammo bags stack if you have more than one. All this seems to point to medals and other items stacking. Even with the cursed medal.

In the vast majority of cases, the enemy weapons room is your highest-priority target. If you can take out their weapons, the only threats they have left are their drones and teleporter, and those aren't usually enough to matter. That said, taking down the enemy weapons and keeping them down can be pretty hard near the end of the game. It's often necessary to focus more on the enemy shields and cockpit in order to keep your damage output up, and treat the enemy weapons room as a secondary target. Late in the game it can be hard enough to penetrate the enemy defenses that you have to just focus on killing them and hope your own defenses are up to scratch. I'd like to give an honorable mention to taking out the enemy medbay when you're using a boarding strategy - a successful boarding kills the enemy so quickly that the enemy weapons aren't likely to make much difference, and you usually don't want to be dealing hull damage to the enemy with your crew on board. (On the flip side, make sure you can fend off a pair of Mantis boarders, because unless you have a pre-igniter and focus-fire their teleporter, you're not going to outrace a boarding attack with lasers.)

The number of scales you get is independent from the chance of getting silver and gold scales. You get 2 scales just for encountering the boss, then +1 scale for each 12.5% health you take off his health bar (up to 8 for a full kill). The you get +1 scale for each 10 seconds you have left on the timer up to +3, for an absolute maximum of 13 scales. The rarity of each scale is directly proportional to the hazard level. At 0% hazard level, you have a chance of 5% silver scale and 0% of gold. These increase by 0.045% and 0.009% respectively per hazard level percent, for a maximum of ~18.5% of silver and ~2.7% of gold at 300% hazard level.
