Is there a way to disable the picture 'bloop' in Pokemon Go?

In pokemon go it annoys me that even if you disable all sound, when you need to start the camera for a scan it will always do a loud bloop.

Is there a way to disable it? Kinda annoying when you are listening to music only to be blasted by it when you get a poffin scan quest.

If you're using a Samsung device you may be able to run https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.soundassistant , which is an official app that let's you control volume on a per-app basis.

Otherwise https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spycorp.appvolumecontrol or a similar app may work, as long as its Service works.

I could be wrong but, using http://pokemondb.net/tools/type-coverage to help me. I created this graph to show the most effective types of attack, so if your mon knows thunder or blizzard you'll be golden, if it knows sludge bomb or draco meteor, I'd get a new pokemon. This chart only counts gen 1 pokemon but gen 6 type attacks. Enjoy

This error is related to connectivity. There are 3 variations of the issue: Your defending count is desynchronized and you don't actually hold as many gyms as the screen shows. This issue should be fixed upon closing and restarting the app, viewing the Trainer screen by tapping your avatar's face in the lower left corner of the overworld view sometimes resynchronizes and fixes issues like this as well. If you still hold any gyms after resynchronizing, it should work unless it's (also) affected by the second variation of the problem. Your server connection is unstable and you don't actually collect the rewards. When you tap the icon, your game sends a message to the server requesting the rewards, but the server never receives the request because of connectivity issues. This can be fixed by improving your connectivity. Try restarting your data connection by going into and out of flight mode or rebooting your phone, or find a place with WiFi. Once your connection is stable enough, if it still doesn't work, check for variations 1 and 3. Your server connection is unstable, but you did in fact collect the rewards. This is similar to the second variation, only this time, the server received the request, but your phone didn't receive the confirmation. The coins have been credited to your account and the clock is running, but your game doesn't show either of these things because it didn't get the memo. When you try again, the server declines the request because the clock is running. As such, this variation is a visual bug only and will be fixed once you close and restart the app.

No you don't get to pick from the new starters. If you start a new account, you only get the original starters (Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle). You can still get the pikachu if you keep running out of sight for 5 times (so the 6th time an additional Pikachu will spawn).

You have to go into setting in Pokemon click the poke ball in the middle of the screen then select setting, scroll to the bottom and sign out. Also the reason you have two different accounts is because you probably made one through google as well as through the pokemon, they are not the same thing. I had this same problem today when they did the update. After logging into the right account I had my character back. Therefore it is not the device, its the type of account you choose. I hope this is helpful.

According to this source, it says that: Green = 100% Yellow = 65% Orange = 35% Red = 25% Of course, almost no ring is strictly one color, but rather a blend between two of them. For instance, if every greenish target ring was labeled as solely green, you'd catch every single Pokemon with that color ring, but this is not the case. This simply means that the closer the ring is to pure green, then the closer the base capture rate is to 100%, and the same can be about the other colors. In addition, these values can move around based on a few other factors, like your throw accuracy, the use of Razz Berries, what kind of ball you are using, etc. You can think of these as just baseline figures.

No, there's no way to disable it. No configuration setting, no config file to edit. Nothing. It's supposed to be there to add to the "realism" of the game, but in many induces motion sickness, so you're not alone in that. Sadly your only option is to keep it on or stop playing the game.

Pokémon spawns in Pokémon Go are random, so it could just be bad luck if you don't have any near you, and you might want to try again later. However, the spawn locations are also weighted based on population density. Much like in Niantic's other game Ingress, Pokémon Go uses Google Traffic to get the traffic density in each area by tracking the GPS locations of Android phones. The more people that frequent an area, the more Pokémon there will be there. Ironically, the best way to find wild Pokémon is to go to the city, not the wild. I believe that PokéStops are also weighted a bit more heavily, because I saw many Pokémon spawn directly on top of my church in the country, but I suppose that could just be because a few hundred people spend a few hours there every week. Regardless, this could be a useful plan if just because many people go to those locations. If you are really in the middle of nowhere though and unable to find fellow humans, the best plan would be to wait. Even if there are no Pokémon near you when you start the app, just having the app open will cause at least some Pokémon to spawn near you. I don't think I've waited long without having any Pokémon near me, so I would just go look for the one or two that are nearby, because more should spawn while you catch those. And then if you don't want to move or wait, you can always just pay money. Using Incense will make more Pokémon spawn near you for 30 minutes, so that's a pretty good solution for the rich farmer. If you are at a PokéStop and you want more Pokémon, you can also use a Lure on one and it will cause more Pokémon to spawn by that PokéStop. If you're lucky, someone else may have already used one on a local PokéStop and you can benefit for free.

Your strategy is good for lower level Pokemon. In Black/White, a lower level Pokemon will gain more EXP than a higher level one when fighting the same Pokemon. For higher levels you would be better off letting the Pokemon KO opponents by itself, holding a Lucky Egg. If you are level 82 you shouldn't have too much of a problem tackling the whole E4. Try and get a range of move types for coverage and you can probably OHKO most Pokemon. There is also the Big stadium and Small Court in Nimbasa City which have high level Pokemon you can fight daily, Cynthia appears in Undella Town in Spring with level 75 Pokemon, and with Morimoto in the Game Freak building in Castelia City with level 75s as well.

Have you been GPS Spoofing or using 3rd-party map applications such as PokeRadar to assist you in your gameplay? Because these things are cheating, and Niantic may ban you if caught. If you are "Banned", you can still "play" the game, but all pokemon will flee from you, and gyms and pokestops will not work. Sounds an awful lot like what you're experiencing.

Unfortunately, you cannot restart a game in Pokemon Go. Fortunately, however, none of the starters, including Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, or Charmander, are particularly hard to come by, so you'll be able to catch a Pikachu fairly quickly if you keep playing. If you're still not satisfied, you could create a new account with a different email and start all over. This would require you to abandon your original account altogether.
