What's the terminology for pressing down (inward) on a thumbstick?

On a controller that has thumbsticks, when it is possible to press down into the thumbstick - not D-pad down, as in UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT, but down on the Z-axis - what verbiage would one use to describe this?

Saying "press down" could easily cause confusion with d-pad directional "down".

There must be some language used in the gaming world to express this.

Another common term I've heard is https://www.google.com/search?q=click+the+gamepad+stick (in) the stick, which is less ambiguous than "pressing" or "pushing" with regards to moving the stick in a direction.

According to this Steam guide: To get that golden S, you have to hit at least 95% of stuff, factoring in the weighting, since hitting a thump pad means much more than hitting a ring. There are more details on scoring and grading on the sections "Details on Scoring" and "Details on Grading," but it's clearly a matter of hitting most things, and avoiding most damage.

One thing I would suggest is going into your mouse properties and turning off enhance pointer precision. This can have a similar effect to mouse acceleration which you also want to turn off so that an equal mouse movement always corresponds to an equal movement of the screen.

I don't know how official this is, but the term "scrubber" or "scrub bar" will come up quite often. If you specifically mean the preview pane with the thumbnail, then perhaps "scrubber preview" or "seek preview" are what you are looking for. I won't bias my answer with links, but if you Google any of the above terms you should get plenty of references to make your own mind up. Note that this term isn't limited to just video though. It can be used for audio and even photo galleries. So depending on the context you use it in, you might need to explicit say "video scrubber preview", for example.

For the actual question you asked - I don't know of any good source of testing definitions or classifications. When in doubt, ask the speaker what he or she means. If the definition given doesn't seem to match the obvious definition, question it - although not necessarily to the speaker (especially if that person is your boss). SQA. SE is a good place to ask to get a feel for how the term is used throughout the industry, IMO.As for what functional testing and exploratory testing are -Functional testing and exploratory testing examine two different aspects of classifying tests: What, and how. "Functional" describes WHAT we test - functionality. Functionality, performance, security, deploy ability are all terms that describe WHAT aspect of the SUT we are examining. "Exploratory" describes HOW we test - by exploring the system under test. Scripted, exploratory, with fuzzing, automatically, and manually are all terms that describe HOW we test the SUT. You can test performance in an exploratory manner, e.g., by wandering through a website with a stop watch. You can test security in an automated manner by creating automated testcases that attempt common security attacks. And so on. The definition you gave is an over-simplification of functional testing that conflates the "what" - testing functionality - with one part of the "how" - stepping through a requirements document and verifying each of the pieces of functionality that it mentions. This is a common way of performing functionality testing, but it is not the only way. As you mentioned, requirements can include more than functionality, and functional testing does NOT necessarily require documents. In some companies, the main documentation of the requirements is the tests - that's the premise behind Cucumber. BTW, the inconsistency of software testing definitions throughout the industry is a common source of frustration. It's not just you.

Why isn't anyone considering it?Parametric polymorphysm is generic.Polymorphysis of sub-types - PLO polymorphys, expressed in the redefinition of methods in inheritance. Same dunction is different behavior.Well, ad-hoc is a static polymorphysis expressed in overloading methods.It must look like a standard answer about the type of polymorphism in the interview. I did some research and can now answer your question. Strength does raise damage, Agility increases attack speed and defence, And perception raises accuracy. Yes they have an effect on accuracy if they don't have access to vats and don't use action points.

After refreshing my memory with the manual, the game is not expecting you to press the # key. It is expecting you to press a number that relates to the town you want to go to. 1 = Inn of Sorpigal 2 = Inn of Portsmith 3 = Inn of Algary 4 = Inn of Dusk 5 = Inn of Erliquin To start the game, press 1, select all the characters (CTRL+A, CTRL+B, ..., CTRL+F) and then press X to exit the Inn.

My guess would be that you would have to pair the controllers again. By pressing the pairing button and adjusting a specific setting and your controller might work

When speaking about a trustworthy "Certificate Authority", we refer to the organization/entity issuing the certificates, and not the tool used to generate them. It refers to the entity in the "Issuer/Issued by" field of your certificate (e.g. DigiCert for this website). Thus, if you issued your own certificates using the same tools as DigiCert, say OpenSSL, you would still not be a CA trusted by most browsers. You could, of course, be a trusted CA within your organization/network/device group.

It is a feature of systems that are able to continue operating more or less normal regardless of whether there are failures in any of the parts necessary for its operation.The way to get this feature varies, and may involve hardware or software solutions. A simple system that detects errors in the software and gives a solution can already be considered fault tolerant at some level. In the sequence list (under 'KEY PRESS SEQUENCE') you need to right click and select 'Insert mouse event' after which you can select which button (or the mouse wheel) and what type of event (down/up/click)

S tapping and W-tapping do the same amount of knockback because they both reset your sprint. There's no difference in kb. However, depending on the kind of s tapping you're using, you could also be moving out of your opponent's range by moving backwards. Mostly, S-tapping is better for starting combos by giving you more reach, and w-tapping is better for keeping them because it's just easier to do.

You need to collect each level. So, if you leave them unattended for a few days, then everyone will have gained one level in the stat they are training. I confirmed this by opening a vault I hadn't played in months, and seeing that many of my dwellers had improved a stat without maxing it. Having everyone max out at the same time just means that they were all at the same level last time you played. Because of the increasing period each level takes, dwellers will tend to sync up their levels over time.
