What is the quick save slot used for?

Whenever I save I notice there's an unused "Quick Save" slot. I can already save anytime I want using the System menu, so what is the quick save slot for?

Quick save is another save option in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and can be done by pressing "Y" on the initial menu without having to gone into the System Menu to do a manual save. Performing a quick save is faster than a manual save (from a user experience perspective, not system perspective), and creates a separate save file without overwriting your manual save.

Based on observations (verification needed), doing the "Continue" option from the title menu will either load the auto-save, quick-save, or manual-save, depending on which one has the latest timestamp, and having a quick saves would serve useful if you have multiple manual saves.

Just 'use' it anywhere. The Energy Dash blueprint you have is a type of tech that gets added to the Tech station on-board the ship. Once you've unlocked tech, go to the tech station on your ship, select a tech on the left, then click one of the "lock-in" buttons on the right to equip that tech. I don't think it tells you how to use it, but the Energy Dash is used by double tapping left or right for whichever direction you want to dash in. When using other blueprints, such as furniture or weapons, a little pop-up at the bottom of the screen will say "Learned to craft new item" confirming usage. The recipe will then be available for crafting at the crafting station used to make that particular item.

When the "UPGRADE" message appears as such, this means you have recently1 upgraded an existing gem, or crafted a new one. By navigating to the gem selection screen in the character menu, a gem will have an orange dot on the top-right of it indicating it has been upgraded/created. If you hover over all the gems with this dot, the "UPGRADE" message will go away. 1 Recently is relative, since this will stay as long as you have unchecked upgrades.

Scorestreaks must be unlocked and selected out at the root menu of the multiplayer interface, shown here: Note that once you enter that menu, you will see all of the Scorestreaks available for your level - but you may still need to spend tokens to unlock Scorestreaks which you have not previously unlocked, in order to make them "selectable". This is straightforward, and there are on screen indicators of Scorestreaks that require you to spend unlock tokens. A few other possibly relevant details: You accrue "points" during each round for doing basically anything - killing a foe, having a UAV up while others kill foes, shooting down a UAV, etc. You may only have 3 Scorestreaks "activated" at any time. Each Scorestreak has a required point total. Hit that total, when that Scorestreak is activated, and you'll get access to that Scorestreak for use immediately during that round. An onscreen indication appears when you have earned enough points for a Scorestreak. I don't play on PS3, but I suspect that like XBox you'll need to D-pad right to select that Scorestreak and then for some Scorestreaks hitting the "use" button is also necessary ("X" on XBox). Scorestreak points reset each time you die. If you don't get enough points, it's possible to go a whole round without getting a Scorestreak.

The way it looks your minecraft can't write changes to the world back into the save file. Usually the cause for something like that is that the application does not have permissions to write that folder. Did you try to create a new world and change something there? Try this: With minecraft closed, back up your .minecraft folder (copy it somewhere save), then remove it. Start your minecraft executable, and let the launcher download the game again. This will create the .minecraft folder again. Now try create a new world and see if the problem persists. If it does not you can compare permissions of the backup worlds and the new worlds, and if they are the same, copy them over. It does not have to be USB. I don't know how folders are called in MacOS, but you can copy it where you keep your personal documents for example. Some location where the files will not be deleted immediately.

According to my playthrough, and not taking new game plus in consideration (I may udpate about it later). Husks and Husks groups : FINITE Husks and husks groups never respaw, The body might still be visible, but you will never be able to interact with again. I was never under the impression that husks location were random. You will get the reputation bonus even if you don't know about the colony. Ether Channels : FINITE Ether : INFINTE Unlike what is stated in the question, I didn't noticed one ether channel respawning in 120+ hours. There might be exceptions with high concentration ether places (like the castle entrance). On other hand, at one point in game, it's possible to buy ether refils, ensuring you can't 'softlock' on ether (not that you will ever need it if you refrain for using ether channels once you max out). Container : FINITE Once opened a container will never close (and refil) again. Skirmishes : INFINTE Skirmishes reward : FINITE Skirmishes respawn on reload like all monsters. unfortunatly, after the first try, you can't get new rewards, you can't even get the opposite reward. Colony reputation : INFINTE The three main way to get reputation are finite (husks, quests and skirmishes reward), fortunatly, there is a fourth way that is infinite if you come short: Encyclopedia cards. While the first time give you special reward, you can use them as many time as you can if you need to grind reputation. Silver Nopon Coin : INFINTE Gold Nopon Coin: Jury's still out. During 95% of my game, I was under the impression that Silver Nopon Coin were a finite ressource. But in my post-endgame I started noticing auto-selling Silver Coins when fighting again unique enemies. It's clearly less frequent than on the first defeat, but it happens. I didn't noticed it happening with gold piece yet, but I have hope with the 100+ level boss. Note that the nopon coin are the 'pay2win diamonds' of the game. You won't need even one to complete the game. Their only usage is to skip grinding. High level gems : INFINITE Like Silver nopon coins, I started to worry about it until post-endgame, but I started noticing gems going in auto-sell when fighting again unique enemies. Like silver coin, the drop rate is way lower than on first defeat. Airdrops : Jury's out I'm under the impression that airdrop are completly randoms and infinte. But I'm not certain about it. Spoiler fragments : FINITE They never respawn, and you can only get one on the first killing of an unique enemies. I don't think there is a risk of auto-sell, and I never tried to sell them manually. I had 'enough' and spare, but for one shape, It was quite close.

The letters are rankings for the class's offense, defense, healing, and difficulty of player control respectively. You can view them in more detail with ZR (Display Class Info). This screen also says the current class rank and how quickly the character will rank up with this class in the top right. This is explained in the tip "Fostering Classes"

Following the comments on Pinckerman’s answer, the Reddit thread didn’t really provide hard evidence whether or not the two XP bonus’ stack. After doing some of my own analysis, I can say for certain the two XP bonus do indeed stack. First off, I apologize for the poorly taken screenshots, but they at least show enough information. I’m posting them under spoiler tags since there might be some spoilery details because it’s the final story area in the game Anywho, fighting the same blue elite monster twice in Origin, I compared the results when defeating the monster under normal combat and defeating the monster using chain attack: When defeating the monster normally, my units received ~3,200 - ~3,500 experience. When defeating the monster during a chain attack, my units received ~14,500 - ~16,500 experience. My chain attack was roughly 500% XP boost, and 3,200 x 500% is 16,000. So mathematically, the calculations shows that the elite XP bonus and chain attack XP bonus stack

This sounds like a file call error based on user data saved in your stored game data. I have two solutions, one easier than the other. Backup your data to a USB HDD then disconnect it. Do not just backup your save game data but also the GAME data. On the new PS3, remove your Skyrim game data. Restart the game and see if you can now load the save data and save over it. If not, Erase both game and save data. Plug your drive in and let it register. Start up Skyrim and see if you can start a new game and load your data off the drive. Second solution is kind of crazy. Swap your HDD's from your old PS3 to your new one. Back up the new HDD onto your USB drive then copy the data onto your old drive in your new PS3. Does that make sense? The second should definitely work; the first, I'm not so sure, but the theory is sound. You have a new drive on a new box, so even if your boot name and account are identical, the game data is registered to your old bootname which has a separate unique id. You're wiping the game data from the old drive and thus the old user id. It'll rebuild your game data and tag it to the new id when you reboot the game.

Arrows don't always seek - you can turn that off with a variant. That said, even with seeking, sometimes the arrow takes a very sharp turn and will still miss you in some cases. You are more likely to lose your hat if you duck while being shot. Additionally, crouching allows you to retrieve your hat (if it was shot off), and it will also allow you to steal another players crown (provided you're not wearing one). Crouching leads to several of the awards -- the most common one is the Fetal Position Award. Crouching in the dark will hide you (provided you don't have Stealth Archers turned on), since you normally emit a small amount of light. It is also necessary when doing hyper jumping (duck, then dodge in a bottom left or bottom right area, and jump -- you fly very far while doing this).

Based on some testing while fighting regular and elite monsters, the "Chain Boost" does indeed affect healing arts. However, the boost is calculated differently with healing arts, resulting in only a few hundred points difference rather than thousands with combat arts. Below is an image while fighting a standard monster (I'm currently controlling Mio as a Tactician). By using the AOE Healing Art "Stormy Skies", my units were healed anywhere between 573 and 5911 points of HP. Below are two screenshots while also using Mio as a Tactician, and using "Stormy Skies" while doing a Chain Attack. The first screenshot has a 300% boost and the second screenshot has a 543% boost. The difference in healing between the 300% and 543% boost is negligible2, and "Stormy Skies" did in fact heal an additional ~150 HP during the chain attack. 1 This number was the same while fighting a standard monster and elite monster, this was just the image I uploaded 2 Again, this is probably due to how it calculated differently than combat arts. I plan on testing around with higher damage boosts to see how much this gets affected.

You cannot use a player's name in place of an @ selector. If you want to test for someone with a certain name, use the name argument: /testfor @a[name=var,score_mainvars=5] Keep in mind that @a selects player entities that exist somewhere in the world, not every single possible username. e.i. this will only work if there is actually a player called "var" currently on the world. If you're wanting to test for a scoreboard objective value, rather than an online player, then you should use the /scoreboard players test command. The syntax is: /scoreboard players test

By doing the story related hero quest for https://xenoblade.fandom.com/wiki/Juniper After completing this hero quest, you’ll be taught how to ride on ziplines. Once you obtain this ability, you can then backtrack to previous areas to obtain contains and unlock new areas that were previously inaccessible.
