Keyboard configuration resets on unexpected crash

I live in a country where power cuts are a thing of everyday life, and where the internet connection is also unstable

I remapped my hotkeys on PC, and everytime I have a sudden power cut or an unexpected logout due to internet issues, my hotkeys are reset to the default mapping

Is there currently a way to save my current mappings and load them if they reset again?

One workaround I have found out is to make your configuration file read only, so it can't be reset by the game

It is located at C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Hotta\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\input.ini

Since I did that, it does not reset whenever I get a random crash anymore

Make a macro on an external Driver ( if you are using razor or steelseries etc this is easy) on the button to "be" another button that you wont typically use while gaming. Put this in some predefined "gaming" setting that you can easily switch this setting in when you want to play games where you need this keybind. So as an example, make a macro that FN will output the letter T when pressed. Then in game you bind T to the action you want. Then when pressing fn a macro will fire that will output T.

Don't worry about your account; all your data is stored server side and will be restored. I personally swapped to a new phone and could keep playing from where I left off just fine. Firstly, make sure you've completely rebooted your phone to clear out any active apps and try launching Pokémon GO with no other apps running just to make sure this isn't an issue about having too little memory available. If that doesn't work here's what you can do to completely reset every bit of data for Pokémon GO which should hopefully make it able to launch again (I doubt what you have is a hardware issue since the S6 is a very high-spec phone which shouldn't have any issues rendering the game). The following instructions should work for any phone running Android 6 Marshmallow. Open the settings app. Tap the menu item called 'Apps' or 'Applications' (This name can differ between devices; ex. the Nexus 5X says 'Apps' and the Samsung Galaxy S6 says 'Applications'). Specifically for the Samsung Galaxy S6: Tap the item called 'Application Manager' to show your installed apps instead of the default Samsung ones. Find the item named Pokémon GO in the list and tap it. You should see the app name and icon at the top and a list below. Tap 'Force Stop' at the top. Now tap storage from the list below. You should see two buttons, 'Clear Data' and 'Clear Cache'. Tap 'Clear Data' ('Clear Data' should also clear the cache). Tap back once to return to the menu where you can see the 'Uninstall' button and tap it. Pokémon GO should be completely uninstalled with all of its data removed too. Go to the Google Play store and download it again. Attempt to login using your preferred account, it should launch. What this process is attempting to do is clear every single bit of data related to Pokémon GO from your phone since sometimes an app uninstall won't completely remove it. If this doesn't work, please comment.

That wouldn't be advisable. Take a simple interface... ... and now close the keyboard (something many keyboards can do, through a direct button press or other user action)... ... now what? It is not appropriate to allow the user to reach a state where they have to figure out what to do. In the above situation they have to tap back into the search field so they get the keyboard back. A clear and purposeful button is not wasted space. There are plenty of way to properly integrate a button that makes very clear to the user how to move forward. Now your user knows exactly what to do. Maybe they hit "Go", which is fine. If they choose not to they still get to move forward without confusion.

So let's talk about Keyboards. It's no secret I take my gaming very seriously and as a result I take my Keyboards very seriously. I realize many people don't, and that's a subjective quality I can't help you with. However, there are objective qualities that can be observed about keyboards and I'm going to go through them. Before we talk about what makes a keyboard "good" or "bad" it's important we define our terms. There are two kinds of mistakes a keyboard can make: Producing a Key-Stroke you did not mean to hit (false positive) Not producing a Key-Stroke you did mean to hit (false negative) By in large, I optimize for the fewest false negatives over false positives. The reason being that a false positive is usually easily observed even at 200 APM. If I accidentally select my Hatchery when I meant to select my Overlord I get a visual indication (something changes). In the reverse case (I think I've selected my Hatchery and I am still on my Overlord) nothing changes. Since the human visual system is built on change its easier to notice the false positive than the false negative. Keyboard Parameters break down into 3 important qualities: Tactile Roll-over Polling/Interrupt You could also add Ghosting to this list but modern Keyboards rarely exhibit this behavior. Tactile Keyboards There are three kinds of Keyboards in the world: Mechanical, Scissor and Rubber (I'm ignoring anything based on Cameras for the moment as those are rare). Rubber Keyboards (the most common) are based on using a Rubber Dome as a spring. Scissor use a harder plastic as a Spring. Mechanical use a metal spring as the contact. I'm not going to spend time breaking all of these down I'm just going to cover Mechanical, a longer explanation can be found here. Of the three Mechanical is by-in-large considered the most superior. Mechanical keyboards use a spring that provides for a very different tactile response when the key is considered "pressed" then when it is not. This difference (shown below) guarantees that you do not consider a key "pressed" when it has not been. This is crucial to avoiding false-positives In many Mechanical Keyboards this also makes an audible "clicking" sound to reinforce this concept. Roll-Over N-Key Roll-Over is the idea that a keyboard can only tell when a maximum number of keys have been pressed. For high end USB keyboards this is usually 6+4 or 10 total keys (4 modifiers). It should be noted that USB stipulated a maximum of 6+4 key rollover but this does not guarantee you will get the full 10 on your keyboard. By comparison a PS/2 keyboard provides full N-Key Roll-Over. Because its keys use interruption instead of polling (more on this in a second) this means you will never be in a case where you hit too many keys at once and some of those keys are not transmitted. Again, this cuts down on false-positives Polling vs Interrupt There are two different ways key sampling can be provided. Either the keyboard can transmit a new signal every time a key changes states (using an interrupt) or the computer can poll the keyboard for its current state. Unless you're hitting 400-500 APM this is actually a philosophical difference more than a practical. Because keyboards poll very quickly it is almost meaningless to talk about the difference between a polling keyboard and an interrupt keyboard. So after all that let's evaluate your question: I'm seriously looking into getting a ZBoard, but I'm not sure if its overkill for WoW The ZBoard is a USB keyboard (thus limited to 10 Keys, thought they only say 7). It does not have Mechanical Keys. It discusses having built in Macros (so almost certainly polling). Based on what we discussed this is not a high-end keyboard and certainly not worth your time. Instead you should consider the Das Model S or a Unicomp Board I don't know a lot about BlueTooth or Wireless Keyboards, but I assume they work similarly to USB.

I had a similar incident on Clear the Camp where I knocked a Brute outside the base. I was able to snipe him for a while but eventually he wouldn't come out and play, I had to restart the level. There are a few of these locations where back tracking just a little would make life so much easier.

TL;DR: As long as you pick skills from one side of the tree, they'll generally synergize pretty well. There's no 'optimal' perk configuration imo since it also depends highly on your play-style and strategies. Generally, there are two skills you can pick per level, and the skills on one side of the tree synergizes better with other skills on that side. This is the same for all the classes. In your example with the medic, the left side of the tree focuses on healing while the right side focuses more on providing team support in the form of suppression fire, additional smoke grenades, combat drugs, etc. The heavy is another great example for this, Holo targeting, Suppression, Danger Zone, and Mayhem are all on the right side and works great when taken together. However, this doesn't mean they are useless if you prefer to build a rocketeer. Some of them, such as danger zone and mayhem, also boosts rocket aoe and damage while holo targeting also affects normal attacks (personally I prefer bullet swarm since 2 attacks per round is great since you are almost always outnumbered).

You should sideload one from your PC and install it via adb or a file browser. You can download the Google Keyboard from here for example, and should then copy it onto your device to somewhere accessible with a file browser. You may need to enable Unknown Sources on your device before browsing to the .apk and installing it. If you don't have a working file browser you will need to install the SDK Tools and enable USB Debugging on your device (first enable Developer Options by tapping the build number under Settings → About seven times). Then from a shell/command prompt on your device you can run: adb install path/to/downloadedkeyboard.apk

The following software have independent physical keyboard layouts not tied to the OS layout in any way. ruKeyboard software. It's a software+hardware keyboard initially made for Android smartphones with qwerty keyboard. It supports Android 2.3-9 and allows to add your own software and hardware layouts for different languages (you need to modify the XML files inside apk, but it's not that hard). It's abandoned and not open source, but still works fine. Software and physical keyboard layout switching is independent. You can configure your own switching combination on physical keyboard. AnySoftKeyboard is what you can call a modern alternative to ruKeyboard. It's a software keyboard with support for physical keyboards. You can define your own layouts just as in ruKeyboard, by editing xml files inside the apk. Layout swithing is unified: if you switch the layout on software keyboard, it would switch on hardware keyboard as well. It's open source.

Samsung keyboard does not have that option to add a space after a full stop. It has an opposite option instead which adds a full stop before two spaces, converting one of the spaces after a word to a full stop. Bring up the keyboard, tap the keyboard input method chooser in the bottom right, select the "cog" and it will bring up the keyboard settings. A short way down there is the "More typing options". Tap that. in there you will find an option "double tap space bar to add full stop"

I had the same issue, not with Cyanogen, but stock android in Nexus 5 phone. I solved the issue temporarily as follows : Go to Settings > Developer Options Change Animator Duration Scale to 0.5x (may be more. At first I set it in None, so it didn't work. Changing to 0.5x solved my problem. I didn't check other options like 1x etc). This method solved me in Nexus 5. (Not sure about Note 2, try it and let's know)

At the moment there is no way to configure it, as it is set to automatically just go and find well, frags as you said. Maybe in the future they will add a way to configure it to our own specifications, but at the moment, I don't think they're worrying about it all that much.
