Does water exist in Medieval Times, or was it not invented until the Space Age?

I have travelled a lot through the world I can see on the map, but found no rivers, lakes, oceans, not even small ponds, and no rain whatsover...

I'm not on a desert, so, where is all the water?

I can't understand how can I make bread without water, or live without drinking water, or farm without humid soil...

I've heard about a frozen/snowy area in the world, but how can snow and ice exist if water does not exist?

Considering a https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1503751972 exists for adding water, I am guessing there is none in the vanilla game. Also, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medieval_Engineers :

Basically what is the best way to min-max research speed? Never research with the ahead of time penalty. Change trade law to Free Trade(−10% research time). Prioritize research of the Engineering technology tree: 1936 - Electronic Mechanical Engineering (-2% research time) 1936 - Mechanical Computing (-3% research time) 1938 - Computing Machine (-3% research time) 1940 - Improved Computing Machine (-5% research time) 1940 - Atomic Research (-2% research time) 1942 - Advanced Computing Machine (-5% research time) Pick designers, concerns and theorists giving bonus for what you are researching now (or about to begin). Pick National Focus giving research bonus or increasing research slots. License military technology for units that you wish to research (with Death or Dishonor on). Boost the research of doctrines and some Naval techs using Army XP / Air XP / Navy XP. If your country is part of a technology sharing group (with Together for Victory on) pick technologies researched by other nations. Pick the Technology Sharing focus (with Together for Victory on) if no other focus can help with research. Or just start work on it and ignore the penalty? You ignore the penalty for things that take a long time to develop or you need them when the war starts: Atomic bomb. Naval technology research tree (capital ships take a long time to build with Man the Guns on).

You can investigate BuildCraft Logic Gates, which interact with BuildCraft pipes to govern when items are pulled out of inventories; you can set up a system so when the furnace inventory is empty it sends a signal down a pipe to pull an item out of a chest. I'd check out Direwolf20's many spotlight videos on BuildCraft to get a better explanation, but you'll have to find the video corresponding to the BuildCraft version you're using.

By the looks of it, the vanilla game does not have ladders according to https://steamcommunity.com/app/333950/discussions/0/1471967615846949155/ , and a few others such as https://steamcommunity.com/app/333950/discussions/0/1676938384249978624/ . The post links to https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1121540837 that seems to add a type of ladder, but it doesn't look like a straight vertical kind, but a slightly angled one, which I imagine can still be useful.

Your probe is probably out of power. Unlike manned capsules, probes don't have any internal way of generating their own electricity.* You need to add solar panels (and remember to deploy them once in orbit), or Radioactive Thermal Generators to your probe. Running most chemical engines also generates power (which is how you can get into orbit), but due to limited fuel, this is typically impractical. If you're using solar panels, you may also want to consider strapping some batteries to your probe as well, especially if they aren't going to be in direct sunlight all the time. Unfortunately for you, your probe is basically dead. The only way to resurrect it would be to dock something else to it for power generation, but that assumes that a) you have a docking port on the dead probe and b) it's worth it to even do that. *The first part isn't exactly correct, since manned capsules don't actually produce a net amount of electricity, however they don't consume it either, and when you're out of electricity, they still function and now (as of version 0.21) consume electricity when their reaction wheels are used to change orientation.

Water in Minecraft is... odd. Physics often don't make sense. The most common answer is that some water actually flows down, whereas some is composed of water source blocks, which doesn't actually flow even though it may look like it's flowing downwards. Swimming up source blocks is much faster than swimming up a downward stream. Another thing that can affect speed is if there are any air pockets created by objects like signs or ladder. This is because you get a small speed boost when exiting the water upwards, so entering these air pockets will actually increase your speed.

DanmakuGrazer is mostly right, but its not really real time, because if you pause the game it will not continue the counter. It uses the amount of total ingame time you have spent playing, so if you save, play for 30 seconds, and then load, it still counts that 30 seconds.

This https://steamcommunity.com/app/333950/discussions/0/2592234299547126328/ has a reply from the developers stating that is primarily for multiplayer only. it's mostly for multiplayer gameplay, if you pay the taxes (at the claim block) it protects all creations (house/castle) in your area. Aside from this, reading over the https://medievalengineerswiki.com/w/Claim_Block doesn't seem to indicate anything useful for singleplayer.

Yes, using 2 Wheels per Catch Block: Just don't look like a Minecart due to the size of its Wheels and of the rails (Round Timbers)... Real Minecarts would be welcome here.

Good question. DotA is a team game, with each hero playing a different role. Some heroes are meant to be farming and others are not. Carries such as Beastmaster, Juggernaut, Mirana, Kunkka etc farm the best and are meant to do so in order to tank in the late game. I'm going to assume that you are playing one of these heroes, and that your team is nicely balanced with other heroes playing the other roles. In that case: Early game, do not leave your lane to gank too often. Once or twice early if you are the solo is ok, but remember that the longer you are out of lane, the more XP and gold you lose. It's doubly bad if your opponent is still in lane getting the XP and gold that you would've denied. Stay in your lane and FARM FARM FARM. See the section at the end about support heroes though - they can afford to run around a bit more. Later on in the game, farm in between the big team moments... when the other team isn't about to knock down a tower, and when your team isn't trying a big push. When a bunch of their creep attack one of your towers but none of your opponents are around is always great. This may happen mid to late-game when your team has just abandoned a big push far into the other side of the map. The other team will be busy mopping up the creep that are in or near their base... if you teleport back to your tower quickly, you should be able to get more gold out of the creep than the cost of the scroll. Jungling / Neutralling can be good when there are no waves of enemy creep nearby. It is better to do this than to push with a wave into an area of the map where you will be ganked. Always watch the minimap when farming... if you can't see their heroes, they are coming to gank you. Same rules about teamwork apply - don't go farm the neutrals when your team is pushing together or they will rightfully hate on you. The only exception would be if you are the carry and your team can do ok without you for a little while. If you aren't playing a carry: support heroes like Lion, Warlock etc should be denying/harassing/ganking and NOT taking gold from the carries. If you only have 2 bracers and boots on level 10 but you've been planting wards the whole game, your team will love you. If on the other hand you last hit ten creep with Lion's stun spikes when there's a Nerubian Weaver around that could've put the gold to better use, you'll be very unpopular. So know what your role is in the team, and don't try to play a role that your hero isn't intended for. A lot of the dbaggery is misdirected rage from people who don't know how to express their frustration that you aren't playing the team role the way their friends do. Disclaimer: in low level games / LANs people often get the team aspects of DotA wrong, so you may see heroes be played in the wrong roles, or not be used to being ganked so frequently. In those games you should just pick a carry and outfarm everyone.

This is great explanation from RhokenStrolm "Supply Capped" is where you are trying to build a unit but can't because you don't have enough supply. And about 200/200... It doesn't measure 200/200. It measures when you are supply blocked and stops when you build a pylon/depot/overlord. Source.

According to https://medievalengineerswiki.com/w/Dirt , Dirt has no use in any crafting or building recipes. It is solely used for terrain construction. You can safely drop it.

Just keep F pressed for a few seconds while aiming at the placed craft and it will go to your inventory. There will even be a timer there so you know how much time remains to get it.

The only consistent way to tell if a quest is time sensitive or not is to pay attention to the initial dialogue. Usually the NPC giving the quest will tell you in one of three ways: You must arrive at a specific location at a certain time If an NPC is waiting for you at a nearby location, even if they do not specify a time, they will not wait forever, this can vary wildly from quest to quest If the next requirement for a quest is simply to 'travel to ___ town,' then the quest is usually not time sensitive (unless explicitly stated) In addition, here are the quests that I know for a fact are time sensitive (Warning: some minor spoliers): "Waldensians" is time sensitive The executioners quest "Money for Old Rope," the executioner tells you he can only hold off the execution for a week. "In God's Hands," Refugees will start dying if they haven't received treatment. They'll die one at a time. "Pestilence," villagers will start dying if they don't receive the treatment in time. You need to know how to read before you start this quest, because the reading quest takes days. Main quest "On the scent" has different endings if you try to finish the quest immediately vs. waiting and doing other things before finishing this quest. The timer doesn't start until after you complete the limpy lubosh quest. The quest that follows it very likely has a similar timer for the same reason, but I haven't tested it. "Miracles while you wait," at least the last component (receiving the burial shroud) has a time limit, as a funeral doesn't last forever. It's best to handle this objective as soon as you get it, because otherwise you'll never be able to finish it. "Rob from the rich," This doesn't have a timer exactly, but the vagabond for me has ended up in the stocks, in no position to receive the last item from the activity line from me. He's been there for an inhumane time. Be wary of nonessential NPC's effected by random events. House of God quest has different endings regarding the survival of the mason who finds the skull. The quest puts you on a timer if you agree to meet at the scaffold where you have a very limited amount of time to reach the guy (who you may or may not be able to find at all due to bugs).
