Where can I find the Mimic Chest boss?

I came across a video of a Mimic Chest boss fight in Lost Ruins. I've already beaten the final boss but I never came across the Mimic fight in my playthrough. How do I access the Mimic Chest boss fight?

There's a side area to the right of the Catacombs Entrance warp area. It's a separate path that loops back, ending in the boss fight and an openable gate that leads back to the entrance.

This was taken at the appropriate warp zone, with a flag added to the side area.

Incidentally, the mimic boss is not really a chest, and therefore will not affect the Ascetic Lifestyle quest.

I don't see why not. Even if your Pokemon is really far away from you, it still belongs to you. You can see it in your Pokemon list, even if it's now defending a foreign gym. The distance from you and your Pokemon doesn't really do anything.

The House of Curios is a very rare instance that spawns in the Fields of Misery zone. The instance itself is located in a named sub-area called the Lonely Dwelling. Finding it will require getting lucky, or spending a lot of time running and re-running the zone. To find it, head to the Fields of Misery, check each of the six possible spawn points and, if you don't find it, leave the game and then resume. Setting your quest right could allow you to enter the game right in this zone, reducing time spent travelling. There are six chunks in the zone that will each be filled by random tiles. Two of these are always the Waypoint and the Khazra Den, the latter required to move the quest forward. Hence four of the six chunks will be filled out from the other possible tiles. One of the chunks is smaller than the others, and won't fit a large tile (but could fit the Lonely Dwelling or waypoint). In the following image, I've outlined the six random spots, and labelled them with what they happened to be for me that game. The chunks will be in the same places, but the content inside is random. The possible large tiles are: A "goatman rally," taking place near several burned homes A lake The Secluded Grove minizone, with a tree-spirit ambush The Forsaken Grounds, location of the Carrion Farm event The Forlorned Farm, and entrance to Farmer's Cellar If a tile doesn't have one of the above, it could instead have: The Lonely Dwelling, entrance to the House of Curios Entrance to the Lost Mine dungeon Entrance to the Scavenger's Den dungeon (If you find one of these you WILL NOT find any of the others, IE they share spawn... So Don't keep looking just reload your game) If a chunk has one of the 'small' bits, the rest of the chunk seems to be filled with other random stuff, such as a burned tree, or an old sawblade. I think the Khazra Den and Waypoint are actually 'small tile' candidates in the game's algorithm. Also, the Burned Tree could be one of the large chunks, but I'm not sure -- I found my House of Curios and haven't researched further. Anyway, point being, there's these six spots, and you should check all six. Also in this zone, near the top (northernmost) corner of the zone and a bit down and to the right, are a few steps that lead up to a small house. This can be one of three different things: just a decorative house that you can't get into, the Pillaged Home instance, or the Tinker's Hovel which is the location of the Wandering Tinker's Diary.

There is no way to do that. The only way you can tell if a portal name has been changed is only when you've changed it yourself or if you're familiar enough with the portal to remember its name. Same for the original location of a portal if it has been moved - there is no way of checking that history.

The Moon Whistle Cave Raider is located at Rock Slide Hall in a cave around 5957m. The cave has two entrances: one near the center of the wall at 5968m with a ledge sticking out of the cave, and one on the right side at 5980m that you'll need to climb into from the side. Find either one of these entrances then head into the cave to find the Moon Whistle.

Yes, I have seen this happen on multiple occasions, with both Shturman and Sanitar - the latter being extra surprising because Sanitar is generally both well equipped and proficient in using medical items. With both bosses, the kill was eventually attributed to a limb hit. The time passed between inflicting the wound and credited kill matched up with the expected time: their better-than-PMC health pool makes even heavy bleeds take longer to become threatening. I believe I have positively confirmed both bosses and boss followers perishing this way though they still had the medical requisites to stop it in their backpack. We can expect this to become more difficult to pull off as soon as the AI is fixed concerning at least using up what they are carrying. I have yet to confirm whether this is also possible with other DoT mechanics such as the poisoned knife found from cultist NPCs (others tried without success so far). Answered for version 0.12.11 - When trying to confirm whether this still happens in future versions of the game, ensure you really do see/hear the boss die. I suspect certain sources of damage (friendly fire grenades & ricochets) can be ignored when looking whom to attribute a kill to. Thus the post-game summary might imply the boss bled out, when in fact further damage sealed his fate.

Some trees (which may not be present on every planet) yield plant fibre when cut down. Just use your matter manipulator. Vines work as plant fibre. You can find those growing on cave ceilings. Cut them with the matter manipulator, too. You can grow some yourself, which is renewable, but takes some time and requires some preparation. You'll need a few seeds (you start with those) and basic stone tools.

When command blocks are set to "require redstone", they will only be able to be activated when powered by redstone. Being powered by redstone does not always mean 'run the command'! In the case of chain (aqua-marine) command blocks, they will only allow or not commands to be ran, and the commands will be ran if another command block facinig it gets activated. For the orange and purple (repeat and impulse) they will run the command if powered by redstone. In OP's sitatuion, A1, A2, B1 and B2 are set to "Require redstone", but B2 is being indirectly powered and A2 isn't, which causes the weird behaviour of A1 "not powering" A2. If there was an B3 (chain and require redstone), it wouldn't be powered just like A2.

You find them in cages in pillager outposts and those jail rooms in woodland mansions. Once you have one you can duplicate it with amethyst shards (similar to breeding). You can right click them with an item and they will hold the item. When they are holding an item from you they will wander around looking for the item they are holding. If they see it dropped on the ground they will pick it up and bring it to the player who initially gave them an item. Keep in mind they won't wander a very long distance, and no mobs can move outside a certain range of players, world spawn chunks, and chunk loaders. The allay will stay within a certain distance of you so you probably won't lose them very often. However, they often prove very unreliable and aren't used that often outside of the early-game (to gather items such as saplings from a tree farm, or stone from the mines when your inventory is full), or in redstone. You can "bind" them to a note block if you activate it every few seconds (you can automate this with redstone) in which case they will drop their items next to the note block instead of the player. This has been used in sorting systems with items such as music discs which cannot be sorted using a traditional item sorter. (This is the redstone use I was talking about.) They can also bring you unstackable items like totems, however if they take fatal damage they would use the totem you gave them, similar to foxes. I did a lot of research, and here are the results. Damage type is in the top left corner of each chart. Separate rows for each number of blast resistance upgrades and separate columns for each number of crit resistance upgraded. Tested each for, normal heavy, Demoman with Charging Targe Shield and Fists of Steel. The damage is calculated by tf2 as follows. The damage of a crit pipe is separated into crit damage and normal damage, then each resistance is applied, then both valued are added together, then weapon/buffbanner/VACmedic resistances are applied. From this we also learn that for non-crit damage the first resistance upgrade only reduces dmg by 25% compared to no upgrade. 2 upgrades reduce dmg by 33% compared to 1 upgrade. And 3 upgrades reduce dmg by 50% compared to 2 upgrades. So logically, whatever it is you're upgrading (like blast resistance), make sure to upgrade it all the way, before upgrading something else (like bullet resistance). Upgrading a damage resistance only once is probably a waste of credits, as they will be better spent elsewhere (like speed, to dodge rockets, or health regen). If you have 1200 credits, its much better to upgrade 3x blast and 1x bullet (or 1x blast and 3x bullet) than 2x blast and 2x bullet. If there are crit soldier robots or crit heavy robots approaching always upgrade crits 3x (not 2x or 1x). If you only have 1050 credits, it would be wiser to upgrade crit 3x and blast 2x, instead of blast 3x and crit 1x. If non-crit robots are the bigger threat, obviously upgrade blast 3x. One more thing, I noticed a bug for pyro. Bullet resistances will reduce pyros self fire damage in the same way as fire resistance does. And the effect is even stacked. Very useful to know if you like to jump around the map with detonator and jump height upgrade and don't fancy taking 45 damage with every blast. The default controls really aren't all that good. I recommend setting up some of the number hotkeys for your items and whatever you're comfortable with for voice chat. Team chat is just enter, all chat is shift+enter. Town portal is an item; there are no "summoner spells" and so you have to buy one each time you'd like to use it (it's worth it). I'm going to suggest a generic hotkey set that will let you do everything you need that's also pretty intuitive. It's a cross between what I use, the defaults, and what I'd like to use in the future. Again, these are my RECOMMENDATION, not all of them are DEFAULT: ` : Voice chat (but push to talk isn't ideal) 1 : Select hero 2, 3, 4 : Top row of items Spacebar and/or Mouse Buttons and/or T, G : other items QWER : abilities Control+QWER : level up abilities Alt+QWER : auto-cast abilities A: Attack S: Stop D/F : "Extra" 2 abilities G : Tower Fortification H : Hold Position Z: Stats (Control+Z to level up) X: Buy Slot (TP) Courier V: Quickbuy B: Shop (Buy) Obvious goal: everything laid out intelligently within easy reach of one hand. Feel free to take it from there and change things around as you'd like!

Those people are indeed correct in saying that Xur can be found in the tower on the weekends. He is present at the tower between 9 am Friday and 9 am Sunday GMT (apply your local time difference to this). As to his location, it is changed every week, he can spawn in either of the three wings of the tower but a quick search should find you in his presence. The loot that Xur sells is also randomized each week and you should be able to find out his inventory for the week from a number of websites, I use this one here. Start saving those strange coins!
