What happens to items equipped to a character that leaves the party?

I reached a point in the story where a player character has left my party. Specifically:

When Vandam is killed at the end of Chapter 3.

What happened to the items and aux cores I had equipped to that character and their blade? Were they returned to my inventory, or are they gone forever? (I'd check my inventory, but I don't remember what items I'd equipped them with.)

I can't 100% confirm this yet, but I believe it to be the case:
- When a character leaves the party temporarily, their accessories and aux cores remain equipped, but you still have access to them and can take them back to put on someone else.
- When a character leaves the party permanently, their accessories and aux cores are unequipped and returned to inventory.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to I be a way to check which items you've purchased already. I ended up buying every item I didn't already have at stores I didn't own the deed to.

The Old Factory's Control Room is near where you were held prisoner. Fast travel to the Ether Refinery Corridor then the door will be behind you down the hallway.

I'm not the best person to answer this, but here is what I know: Jungle and Meteor Armors work better with Spells as they provide Mana Regen and Magic Damage. Necro Armor works better with Bows and Guns as it increases Ranged Damage and reduces Ammo Consumption. Shadow and Molten Armors work better with melee weapons as they increase Attack Speed and Damage, respectively. So loosely, I'd say: Ranged: Necro Magic: Jungle/Meteor Melee: Shadow/Molten Some example builds Tank Molten Armor Cobalt Shield Obsidian Skull Ironskin Potion Feral Claws Anklet of the Wind I've tried running this build without the Anklet, but inevitably, I need the move speed to be effective in PvP. You can swap the Anklet for Hermes Boots if you're quick with the Grappling Hook (which can accelerate you to full speed). DPS Shadow Armor Muramasa Feral Claws Rocket Boots Hermes Boots Band of Regeneration I find myself relying more on speed with this build than anything else. You're very susceptible to a fast attacking ranged build, but most melee builds don't hit the speed of Shadow+Feral+Muramasa, so I usually find I can trade 1-3 on hits. When you have your food become grimy (by having one of your pokémons stepping on a trap), you cannot 'clean' the food. However, it's still edible, albeit at the risk of a random status ailment (so best to do it when you know you can eat the food and then immediatly cure your ailments). Regarding Sticky Traps, it makes the items you're holding become sticky, and not removeable (if it's an held item). This can happen to both you and your allies. If you're not using any items, a random item will become sticky instead. If an ally steps on the trap and he has no items, nothing will happen. You can 'unstick' items with a Cleanse Orb.

It's confusing, but through personal experience by having purchased the physical edition of Torna - The Golden Country, I can confirm that it does not provide a digital version to Torna - The Golden Country. The digital code it comes with for the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Expansion Pass is slightly different than the on the eStore, redeeming only the expansion pass and not Torna - The Golden Country. 1) These abilities apply only to the character who has them equipped. 2) No, Mime and Freelancer only inherit what are usually called "innate abilities" - that is, abilities that the class gets when used even without equipping them. For example, Ninja automatically has Dual-Wield even without equipping it. Once you've learned it properly, your Mimes and Freelancers get it automatically without equipping it.

You don't have to equip lockpicks, you simply use them, when you attempt to pick a lock, but you need to have the locksmith skill. In Two worlds 2, there are three ways to open locked doors/chests: pick the lock open it with magic (requires ice and enchant cards) open it with brute force (approach the lock with your weapon drawn, has a chance to damage your weapon) You should be able to just press the use-button and these options should be available. Regarding your item question, you can hotkey items and abilities with the PC version: open the inventory, highlight the item and press Shift + 1-0 to hotkey it to the corresponding key.

Per the https://xenoblade.fandom.com/wiki/Collection_Point , the color of the text indicates the rarity of items you can receive from the collection point [Collection points] are also colored differently depending on the rarity of their collectibles, with golden colored spots usually providing items of higher grade. The wiki doesn't specify color rating other than gold (or yellow depending on screen resolution), but I'm guessing they are more-or-less the same as the https://gaming.stackexchange.com/a/325787/124566 in the base game

If auto-save is enabled, the game will save whenever you finish using a campfire. According to https://www.reddit.com/r/Xenoblade_Chronicles/comments/9g8554/psa_warning_checking_out_new_game_can_auto_save/ , the game will also auto-save when starting a New Game or New Game+. The saving indicator is easily missable as it's only on screen for a fraction of a second.

The character code is to allow for anyone to have whatever name they want. Two people can both be "Walter", for instance, with one being "Walter.414" and the other being "Walter.811". It's there so people can pick the name they want, and have it be available, no matter what.

There's a bug report on this issue on Mojang's bug tracker. While the issue is confirmed, it was closed as an invalid bug, since it's an effect of downgrading versions. To quote: Moderator Note Downgrading from newer versions to older versions may have undesired behavior, please back up your worlds before testing snapshots. Upgrading to a snapshot may also corrupt worlds, please back up your world before testing. [...] Going from a 1.8 snapshot to 1.7.5, 1.7.6, 1.7.7, 1.7.8, and 1.7.9 is considered a downgrade! The specific issue you are facing has come up in Snapshot 14w03a, specifically Block IDs NBT data in commands can now use block/item names in place of numerical ids Old ids still work, but are being phased out slowly Other occurrences of blocks/items now need to be named ids Regular IDs in commands no longer work. /give [player] 1 is now /give [player] stone . Since you upgraded from a 1.7.9 to 14w21a (presumably), this change has taken effect. All items in the game save were converted to the new NBT format on world load. 1.7 doesn't know these weird items called "stone", "dirt" or "diamond_sword", it knows only "1", "3" and "276". The game therefore deletes the items, as Minecraft always does with unknown items. As to why your backup doesn't work, I have no idea. I suggest you try again, and be careful not to open the world in a 1.8 snapshot if you don't plan on playing in that version. If your backup has been run in a 1.8 snapshot already, continue playing in 14w21b and don't downgrade to 1.7. To prevent these problems in the future, you should set a different save directory in the profile for the snapshot (see my answer here) so that your regular world doesn't show up at all.
