Was "SD Art of Fighting" ever released?

This Super Famicom game was actually released as SD Hiryū no Ken, part of the Flying Dragon franchise. The header of the snippet confirms this with the name of the studio that produced it (Culture Brain).

It got mistakenly translated as an Art of Fighting title because the two series have similar names in Japanese:
- 飛龍の拳 (Hiryū no Ken)
- 龍虎の拳 (Ryūko no Ken)
This mistake also happened to the N64 " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Dragon " game. IGN wrongly reported it as an Art of Fighting title more than once:

I just went and checked the power supply on my SNES (an original Nintendo power supply)--it's 10 V at 850 mA. Your supply is slightly lower voltage. Speaking as an electrical engineer with some familiarity with how circuits were designed in the 80s and 90s, it's very probable that 9 V is enough. (current rating doesn't matter as long as it's high enough, by the way--the power supply could be rated to 10,000 A and it would work just fine. Though I'd question why you're using such expensive specialist lab equipment to power an SNES, if it was!) Most of the SNES (and most 80s and 90s electronics) runs on 5 V, and there's an internal voltage regulator (most likely a linear regulator) that drops the input voltage down to 5 V. There may be some parts of it that run on 9 V (another standard voltage) as well, but that seems unlikely to me--the voltage regulators readily available at the time would typically require at least about 11 V to output a stable 9 V, and while ones that could drop 10 V to 9 V existed, they wouldn't have been as cheap as just using a higher voltage power supply. It's also possible that some nominally 9 V parts are being run at 10 V straight from the supply; some things are perfectly happy on a pretty wide range of voltages. In that case, your 9 V supply would also be perfectly fine. In any case, I wouldn't worry about it. Even if it turns out not to work, it's extremely rare for something to break from applying too low of a voltage. Too high a voltage can cause damage easily, but it takes some weird edge cases for too low a voltage to do any damage at all. Do be aware, however, that low-quality power supplies can fail in ways that will damage things. If the power supply is working properly, everything's fine, but if it breaks, in the worst case you could end up passing mains voltage through to your SNES, which absolutely will fry just about everything on the board. Might be a good idea to replace it with one that's a little better quality; there are aftermarket ones out there that look a lot less sketchy than this one.

The cartridges do not contain any special hardware for this. The specifics of the game is that it uses pre-rendered graphics to render each sprite using "footprints", so that it only needs to load each "sprite" once. Donkey Kong Country is one of the first games for a mainstream home video game console to use pre-rendered 3D graphics, a technique used in the earlier 1993 Finnish game Stardust for the Amiga, and later in Rare's Killer Instinct, released the same year. [...] Rare developed a new compression technique that allowed them to incorporate more detail and animation for each sprite for a given memory footprint than had been previously achieved on the SNES, which better preserves the pre-rendered graphics. Both Nintendo and Rare call the technique for creating the game's graphics Advanced Computer Modelling (ACM). Source. The impressive part of this was not the huge jump from 16-bit 2D graphics to 3D environments, but actually the ability to reprogram the technology to run on a pre-existing system. This is what gave Rare its fame, becoming a second-party developer for Nintendo. Following talks, Nintendo acquired 49% of Rare, which culminated in the production of a new title using Alias and SGI technology, and Rare became a second-party developer. I remember that Half Life was hailed as the very first game where it does not cut the camera away from the First Person Perspective to do a cutscene (and pretty much no breaking the first person camera for the whole game). So I would guess that is the answer to your question. Half Life. A

This cut-scene happens when morale drops to a very low point at Motherbase. Morale will decrease over time when you have not visited it in a while. Sometimes you will get certain events that trigger it additionally and you will see "Morale has decreased" on the screen in the notification area. (this answer is community wiki in case others want to add further notable examples) EarthBound has some crappy dialogue. For Nintendo in the early 90's, this might have been a surprise. (s) We don't technically know what character's narrating the DK Rap, but we do know they got washed the heck out with soap for the Melee remix. (s) The fact that this line in Metroid Prime 3 was changed to "No!" in the Trilogy re-release is the real damming issue. (s) Xenoblade Chronicles was done by Nintendo of Europe, and it has a fair amount of people being dammed and hells being raised. (s)

Besides opening the puzzle doors and featuring in a couple of quests, the claws have no purpose. If you sell one, merchants will apparently keep the item around in their inventories permanently. However, as I'm always afraid of glitches and loathe to part with anything unique, I typically hang on to them, and stow them in a chest in my house.... just to be on the safe side.

This is actually mentioned in the manual, but it's in a strange -- almost hidden -- place, at the bottom of page 21 of Book I, in the description of the "Symbols" pane of the Map Generator. It says the first port is for repairs. The other, with the people walking around, is your supply port.

This was translated in a hurry so please forgive any grammatical errors. From the wikipedia entry: It was first discovered in the Famicon version of "Gradius", where it was a 'full-powerup' command entered while the game is paused to give the best equipment and stats/abilities etc. The details are as follows: When the arcade version of 'Gradius' was ported into Famicon, a junior staff had trouble with the difficulty of the game and used the command for debugging. This was published in an interview by the staff of that time, HOWEVER this was not the source of the spread of information. Then, without removing that cheat code, they released it in the retail version. The code was then discovered in the 裏技ブーム (Trickery boom? Sorry idk how to translate this but basically there was a point of time where everyone was looking for cheat codes in various games) and became widespread. Apparently it is an easy-to-remember command to him. In anticipation of the Konami Code being used in a portion of the future games, they implemented it such that normal use of the command would lead to adverse outcomes such as an instant gameover or some other negative effects. As a replacement, the game will give hints for the 'correct' command to enter.

Early game, you'll probably follow only your carry. You may leave him in some circumstances: Warding river / red / blue to keep track of junglers (prevents ganks and allow counter jungle) One of the enemy botlane switch to another lane, you MUST follow and let your carry take care of the lane (if he can't 1v1, he's a bad carry). Some times though, it may be more effective to stay here to deny farms and let your carry fill/create a gap. But be sure other lanes are doing fine and won't be impeded by one or more champion in the lane (bot + jungler) Do not leave him if a champion is dominating at this moment. Keep an eye on when the enemy begins to team up. Before that point, your carry may be able to invert the steam and come back in the game. But he won't do it alone. In mid game, you have to support the "real" carry of the game. Don't waste your energy on a bot AD carry that is 0/8/2 when you have a 10/2/22 top. He is the one who must stay alive (worth much gold, high damage burst, high disruptive power allowing team to score, ...). If the intended carry (a.k.a. bot champion) did not get enough farm/kills, forget about him. He must try to fill in the gap as he can, with farms on incoming creeps or so. In late game, you have to be were there is a team. You won't be efficient if you're going duo with an AD carry (unless maybe if he's hard fed). Your auras should benefit the maximum of champions.

It's going to depend on what inputs the TV has. Most TVs still have coaxial input (ie, the kind that screws on). The TV must be on the right input and tuned to the right channel. Typically this is "TV" or "Coax" input, and channel 3. It may vary depending on your TV. Sometimes pushing the "Channel Up" or "Channel Down" buttons on the remote will switch it to this input. If that's not working, you can pick up a composite cable, which may help if it has a composite input. Most TVs still do - it's an input with one "yellow" jack for video, and a "red/white" pair for audio. (pic on this page, go down to "composite") If you're wanting to get it going today, check with GameStop or wherever used games are sold in your area. New game stores may also stock it, but call first. I believe that the GameCube, the Nintendo 64, and the Super Nintendo all use the same cables, so you might have better luck if you ask for a more modern revision of the hardware.

Always try to escape. That one kill you might get fighting a 1v6 is not going to matter by the time the rest of your team gets back up. Make it as hard as possible for people to pursue you and get that last bit of ultimate charge out of your health. If you're lucky, they might overextend chasing you and run into your team. Give your healers a decent amount of ultimate charge from you, which otherwise they'd miss because everyone close is at full health. The risk of dying anyway is minimal. A just-showed-up-with-full-health team should be okay holding the line without you until you get back.

Mission 02: High Overseer Campbell 1 of 1 - 'The Isometry of High Overseer Thaddeus Campbell' The painting is located in Campbell's Secret Chambers, which can be opened by activating the eye of the statue next to it. You can find the Chamber from the video, which starts in the room where you can decide to spike their wine with poison. Mission 03: House of Pleasure 1 of 3 - 'Light Along the Inverse Curve, Sokolov's Self Portrait' 2 of 3 - 'Daud and the Parabola of the last Seasons' 3 of 3 - 'Custis, Morgan and the Postulate Child' You can find all 3 paintings in the Art Dealers building. You can get to it as shown in the video, or you can get a key from a Survivor who needs help in the Gaff Street Alley (left side). The 3rd painting requires a combo, which you can get from the Art Dealer himself at the 'The Cat'. For me, it was 1-8-3. Mission 04: The Royal Physician 1 of 1 - 'The Obtuse Arguments of Lady Boyle' Can be found in the first floor of Sokolov's House. Mission 05: Lady Boyle's Last Party 1 of 2 - 'Vera Moray and the Affix of Her Skin' 2 of 2 - 'The Spymaster's Axis of Asymmetry' Both paintings can be found in the Lady Boyle's mansion. The video begins the path to finding them from the central Foyer. Make sure you turn off the Wall of Light for the first (or find another path to the 2nd floor). The second painting can be found in Lady Boyle's room, which is normally guarded by a Watch Officer. Mission 06: Return to the Tower 1 of 1 - 'The Empress and the Empty Set' Once you reach the Tower Interior, Blink up to the 2nd Floor. You'll find it on the room on the left. Mission 07: The Flooded District 1 of 3 - 'The Commutative Rats and the Weeper' 2 of 3 - 'The Torturer's Quaternionic Groan' 3 of 3 - 'The Outsider and the Circumstanced Void' First painting is right after you make your escape, but before heading for your gear (or Daud's House). Blink to the high catwalk that has a overhanging mattress. The second painting is found after you encounter Daud. Once you leave the area, look for the painting as you are going down the chain. The final painting is in Granny Rags room, right above her bed. This was all from this fine gentleman's YouTube video. As for what the paintings themselves look like, well... They're fairly hard to miss. They are full sized paintings complete with frames, but the artwork on them varies; for example, a woman facing away from the viewer, a man sitting in a chair, or a man standing with his arms at his side.

The extended ending invalidates the indoctrination theory. The indoctrination theory relies on the fact that what is happening after Shepard reaches the beam isn't real and is taking place inside Shepard's mind. The extended cut refutes this by clearly saying that Shepherd did indeed reach the citadel, meet with Anderson, The Illusive Man and the Catalyst and therefore the indoctrination theory cannot be true, no matter how much more interesting it would have been.

You are fighting a computer, but the battles are not won automatically at the start. The defending pokemon are set to attack every 1.5 seconds until they can use a special attack, at which point they use that special attack. The trainer for the defending pokemon is not involved at all. And yes, some of the animations are bad and do not look like attacks. Do not fear, no matter what you do in the battle you are being hit... A LOT. The trick to the battles is learning the timing to get in your attacks while dodging the opponent's attacks. There is a yellow flash on the screen which shows the window to dodge, if you swipe at that moment you should be able to dodge the attack. This does not negate the damage, it only reduces it. In between dodges, you must tap the screen to attack. Normal attacks take about 0.5 seconds, so you can usually get 2-3 attacks in between dodges, although the exact timing changes based on the two pokemon involved, the moves they have, and your connection speed/lag. When using a special attack, I usually accept that I will not be able to dodge an attack or two from the opponent, merely because special attacks take too long. Finally, this is pokemon, so pokemon types and move types are all very important. You can just brute force it and use a pokemon with way more CP, but using type advantages makes things easier. Use those advantages whenever you can, an unused advantage is no advantage at all.
