Can I "merge" a Java Edition and a Bedrock Edition account on a Minecraft Geyser server?

I'm making a server for my friends and myself, and I can't currently play on my computer, so I've added Geyser to my server so I can play on my Nintendo Switch. The problem is, the account on my Switch and the account on anything else I play Minecraft on is different. I was wondering if there was a plugin or any way to "merge" these accounts server side, that can keep the inventories, status effects, amount of hearts, and position synced between these accounts. Is it possible? If so, how?

This is a built-in geyser feature, you can just do /linkaccount while logged into the Java account. (Source: https://bukkit.org/threads/a-plugin-to-combine-2-accounts-into-1.490517/ )

You will need Floodgate installed along with Geyser in order for this to work.

This will make the two accounts be linked on every server using Geyser with Floodgate to enable Java+Bedrock play.

If, for whatever reason, nametags don't keep a Zombie from naturally despawning, you can use some NBT magic to do the trick. Each and every Living Entity (aka Mob) has the NBT tag PersistenceRequired of the type boolean. This tag does exactly what you want to achieve. The MinecraftWiki states the following: PersistenceRequired: 1 or 0 (true/false) - true if the mob must not despawn naturally. Source: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Chunk_format Applying that tag to a Zombie can be done in two ways: 1. Summon a new Zombie /summon Zombie ~ ~ ~ {PersistenceRequired:true} Of course, you can edit the co-ordinates to whatever fits your needs. The tildes (~) are relative co-ordinates, thus representing the position of the executing player or command block. 2. Edit the entity data of an existing Zombie /entitydata @e[type=Zombie,r=3,c=1] {PersistenceRequired:true} For this command to work, the Zombie must be within three blocks in a spherical radius of who- or whatever executes the command (r=3). Of course, you can easily edit that parameter. This command also selects only the nearest Zombie to you or the respective command block (c=1). You can omit the count (c) parameter if you want to do this for every Zombie within the given radius.

With Elytra wings, you can glide down from higher altitudes by pressing space mid-air. You can propell yourself, and even take off from the ground, by the use of fireworks. Here's a more detailed guide

Try setting Mipmap Levels to OFF in instead of 4 which the default value is. This increased my performance from around 5 to 10 FPS to around 80 FPS. I'm not sure why this helps exactly, but looking around the Internet I'm far from the only one to have had this resolve FPS problems in Feed The Beast on otherwise powerful hardware.

Figured it out. The data is in the level.dat file. Assuming you're using Python, here's a code snippet that should get the current time (run "sudo pip install nbt" first): import nbt def get_time(): n = nbt.NBTFile('%s/%s/level.dat' % (minecraft_dir, session_name)) if n == None: return None else: return n[0]["Time"].value % 24000 For bonus points, you can change the modulo to a division sign and get how many days it has been since you started.

Yes! Use the following setup: That's a Redpower Deployer, filled with wither skulls (you only need one). Press the button, or apply a redstone pulse, and hey presto! Obviously, if you have a lot of wither heads to get rid of, you can easily build a simple wither head disposer thusly:

My experience with Pocket Edition is that it does not auto-load the world. Some versions of Android, however, do not close the app when you go back to your home screen. In this case, when you "start" the app, it resumes where you left off. To completely close the app, while in the app, tap the back keypad. This (if you are in a world) gives you the option to go to the main menu, and once there, tapping the back keypad again exits the app.

When a command block shows no output, this can be caused by a target selector that is capable of obtaining multiple targets (@a is capable so long as c=1 is not used) but results in no targets found. The dx, dy, and dz parameters are not a second set of coordinates. They are instead the number of blocks it takes to get from x, y, z to the other corner. You will need to change the values to adhere to this. /testfor @a[x=1016,y=56,z=1016,dx=-32,dy=1,dz=-32]

@jacob is right but depending on how big your old world is, you could add it to your WorldEdit schemas and just stick it in a new bukkit world using WorldEdit. Don't do this if it's over about 1500 blocks though, or your server will go pop

First let's start with fundamentals: Powering up (providing a redstone pulse) a structure block activates its current primary function (load or save). This allows for automation of loading structures. The structure saved by a structure block can contain other structure blocks (or even itself - which is the endless source of confusion for new players, "why does my LOAD block incessantly convert to SAVE block?" - because it's inside the structure, and at the moment you saved the structure, it was a SAVE block, so you recovered it to the prior state.) Warning: including a LOAD block in its own structure (saving it under the same name with a separate SAVE block) combined with the subsequent trick is extremely dangerous. It's a mighty powerful technique but incredibly easy to go run-away, and then there are dire consequences. This technique will not be required for what we want to achieve, but it's still easy to do accidentally so always double-check that you don't recurse your chain infinitely. Observers that are parts of a structure fire immediately after the structure containing them is loaded. That means an observer which is pointed into a structure block, as part of a structure, will immediately activate that structure block. ...and the newly-loaded structure can contain other structure blocks with their own observers, and so on - you can see where it's going? This is already the set of tools necessary to save and restore any static build of arbitrary size - by segmenting it into separate structures and loading them all from the 'root'. Alternate Realities. The above has one disadvantage - leaves structure blocks and observers scattered everywhere. How do we deal with it? By having two versions of the 'reality' saved. Here we have two structures - a sandstone one and a planks one. The structure blocks have been placed in such a way that there's an overlap between the two. The left structure block will be our 'root' from which the whole thing spawns, starting with the sandstone part. The right one is outside the plank structure, and used to save a "pristine" version of it - no structure blocks, no observers. Then after saving it, we alter the reality - add a LOAD structure block to within its own structure volume, and an observer - separated by an extra solid block so that we don't trigger both structure blocks at once. We don't touch the SAVE block of the plank structure - it already holds a 'clean' version we want as final. Instead, we use the SAVE block of the sandstone structure. Now if we load the 'root' sandstone structure, it also loads the LOAD block for the planks piece, alongside with its observer. The observer fires, and a variant of the planks piece is loaded without the structure block and observer - overwriting, deleting them. Chaining structures like that you can spawn an arbitrarily big build from one structure block -and- erase the 'construction' parts. Worth adding: if you don't want to erase terrain around your structures, learn to love the structure void block - the structures save and restore minecraft:air like any other block, while structure void is a special sort of air that doesn't replace whatever was there before. In case you want to randomize the generation - just a brief description of the concept: It's possible using a set of tricks very much like the above - but instead of inevitably loading the one fixed structure block included in the parent structure, we include a line of structure blocks containing a range of 'alternative' structures; save and later spawn a special 'technical' structure containing a redstone randomizer which selects one of the alternatives from the array included in the 'parent' (and then promptly erases itself by loading in a structure consisting of only air in its own place) and so, spawns a randomly selected 'continuation' which may itself be a 'leaf' of the tree structure (end of branch generation), branch (more variants at the end) or a fork (multiple sets of arrays of structures branching in different directions). It's essential to balance the number of 'leaves' and 'forks' or your structure will go runaway spreading infinitely. It's also possible to add a special 'terminus' structure that will stop the entire generation if ever spawned - instead of more LOAD blocks loading more branches, loads a replacement for the randomizer which only ever selects leaf structures (say, "#1" alternative is always a "leaf" and this one only ever activates alternative#1 instead of a random one), then auto-trigger a SAVE block that saves the replacement under the same name as the randomizer structure, making any subsequent attempts to spawn a randomizer by other branches, spawn the replacement that terminates them.

I suppose, that if the account can be linked to Steam, this would need to run from the same Steam, with the only difference that one has to log onto Steam, beyond that, there should be no problem; Only your amnigo would have to have your Steam account to play.

As detailed on the official Minecraft wiki, there is a maximum of 128 strongholds that can be generated on the PC edition. The console edition can only generate up to 3.

Give the entity strength with the /effect command. /effect @e[tag=TagOfTheEntity] strength 99999 [Effect level 0-255] true At the end of the command, change true to false if you want the player to be able see the effect particles.
