Can you move a modded DS game ROM into physical copy then play it on unhacked 3DS?

I have a unhacked 3DS handheld which contains many games, and I won't hack it because it is so smooth and well maintained like new. And I have so many physical games.

There's a certain game called Gyakuten Kenji 2 or fans calls it Ace Attorney Investigation 2 for NDS and never released outside Japan. But somehow they managed to translate and mod the ROM with English patch. I have a bad habit when into a series collection, when into collecting physical copies I tend into obsession.

My question is, can we move the modded ROM into a physical copy then play it on the unhacked 3DS handheld?

No, you can't.

As the full form of the acronym ROM implies ("Read-Only Memory"), once data (in the case of cartridge-based consoles, the game itself) has been written to the chip, it's locked into a read-only state (i.e. you won't be able to write anything onto the cartridge.)

Provided you have created a Nintendo Network ID on the console, yes. The games are tied to your account on the console and you may redownload them at any time from the eShop. This will only work on the Wii U on which you created your NNID. No, you can't move games to a different console. The only way to do anything like this would be the Wii U System Transfer, but that transfers absolutely everything from one console to another.

Wireless communication speed depends on many factors, not just distance, but also what's between the two things. A car is generally not a great thing to try to send signals through; a messenger bag on a bike is not much more difficult than air. Streetpass also transmits a variable amount of data. If you have no games aside from Streetpass Plaza, it will finish faster than if you have to transmit information about several games. (I don't know if Streetpass can do a "partial" transmit - sending and updating each game individually.) In ideal circumstances, 10 seconds is more than enough time. I have seen a Streetpass happen 2-3 seconds after closing my 3DS, if my wife's 3DS is also suspended and in the same room.

No, this isn't possible. The moment the second person logged into the same account, the first person would be forcibly logged out. This has happened to me with my friends who have PS4s I've logged into in the past. It will kick your friend offline even if you're not playing online, too. (I was kicked out of a Dark Souls III boss when my friend was trying to do local multiplayer with a friend in Rocket League with my account)

Metal Gear Solid is notorious for being tricky to follow. Probably the easiest approach is to go in order, MGS1-4. Some events in MGS1 call back to the MSX games, but MGS1 can also be read as attempting to remake those games. MGS3 is somewhat disconnected from the rest of the narrative, so it's not necessary to play it after the previous two games. Whichever way you play it, be prepared to not follow all of it - there's frequent allusions to events that you're not likely to know anything about, and this is part of the territory. There are no plot differences lore-wise between Twin Snakes and MGS, so whichever is easier to access. The two games have a different script (Twin Snakes is a bit sillier) but Twin Snakes doesn't add in new dialogue to tie it to the later games better or anything like that. There's also a compendium available on the PS3 that explains the lore a bit more.

Your research is spot on. Any NTR code DS game will work on any 3DS. So, why doesn't it? The most likely reason is that it's a fake/copy/bootleg. These are quite common, especially for popular brands like Pokémon. If you post pictures of the cart (both sides), box front and back and manual, I might be able to tell you if it is indeed one. Looking at your specific cart: that looks legit indeed. It's a European copy though, so your 3DS actually has the correct region code anyways. It might actually be damaged then, even if it works on the DS. You could try cleaning the contacts with a Q-tip and alcohol.

According to Nintendo Support: A Nintendo Network ID is required to download game demos and other free software. Once deleted, Nintendo eShop purchases can be redownloaded at no cost. Downloaded items appear as a gift on the HOME Menu. Once they have fully downloaded, you can tap them to access the software. What to Do: From the HOME Menu, select the Nintendo eShop icon and tap "Open." Scroll left and select "Settings / Other." Scroll down and select "Redownloadable Software." Select "Redownload" next to the software you wish to redownload. Select "Download." Select "Download Later" or "Download Now." Items downloaded now will begin immediately. Items downloaded later will begin when the system enters sleep mode. TL;DR: You need the original Nintendo Network ID to redownload the previously downloaded softwares after a console format. You can transfer data between two consoles before a console format, but that will transfer the Nintendo Network ID account, too. You cannot transfer data on a console with another Nintendo Network account. You cannot perform a system transfer if the target system has a Nintendo Network ID linked. You must format the target system to remove the Nintendo Network ID link prior to transferring content.

Sorcerer is Jack of all trades, so I keep him at 21 level across the board. I would say there are 3 milestones in Sorcerer progression: Flameblade (lvl 7) Chasm (lvl 15) Mirror Shield (lvl 35) At early levels (levels 10-15) surviving is the biggest challenge, at level 15 you can breathe much more freely and start attacking, and at level 35 you are laughing. Before level 7 you would need mostly blue and yellow to keep ice shield going and have some defense. Once you learn Fireblade this probably would become you primary weapon so you would need to invest into red and purple skills. At level 15 you add Chasm to your arsenal that would require green skills. At level 35 Mirror Shield gives you pretty much ultimate protection so you can forget about yellow and blue skills and rather have more green and purple. And once you reach level 50 and want to toy with Mana Blast - it would require all skills to the max. As you see Sorcerer needs pretty much all skills. It is safe to stop investing into yellow at about level 15 though and at blue a bit later. Other than yellow I would keep all skills more or less equal. After level 20 or so you can rearrange your skills so your choice is not critical. Also I posted some Sorcerer review here if you are interested.

First to check to see if you're actually using the same account on both consoles. The fact that you can't see your transaction history makes me suspect that you might have created a new account for your PlayStation 4 instead of reusing you existing account. Otherwise in order for a game that you bought from the PlayStation Store for the PlayStation 3 to be playable on your PlayStation 4 two things need to be true. The first that there must be a PS4 version of the game. The PS4 isn't backwards compatible with the the PS3, so any game would need ported to the PS4 for you to play it on you new console. The second thing is that the particular "product" you bought needs to include both the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game. Most games aren't sold with both versions bundled together like this, so you need to buy separate versions for each console. Most developers will want to be paid for the work they had to do to port the game to the PS4, so this shouldn't be too surprising. For example, Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag is available on the PlayStation Store in both a PlayStation 3 version and a PlayStation 4 version. These are separate products you need to buy separately. An example of one of the few games that you can pay one price and get the PS3 and PS4 versions, along with the PS Vita version too, is OlliOlli. If you look at where it says "Playable On:" on the store page you can see the difference between the games: There also the PlayStation Now service you may have heard of. This service lets you play games on your PS4 (and other Sony devices) by streaming them to you console. This works by running the games on Sony's servers (modified PS3s) and streaming the video output to your console. Unfortunately your purchase of games on the PlayStation Store doesn't entitle you to play these games on PlayStation Now. You have to pay a rental fee if you want to play them using this service on your PS4 or other device.

Ok, since I didn't get a response I checked a FAQ (I didn't really want to do so, because of the spoilers). If you plan on your warrior becoming a Paladin, make sure he has at least 10 points allocated in Charisma when starting. I created a new char and leveled him up with the rest of the party...

If you have a legitimate copy of Platinum, there is a chance you can use the exploit mentioned here: https://www.shacknews.com/article/108512/how-to-unlock-gen-4-and-5-pokemon-mystery-events-in-2018 to obtain the Mystery Events that you missed. You do apparently need a compatible internet router (an Android phone also works), but the basic steps are as follows: First, make sure Mystery Gifts are unlocked in your copy of Platinum - Head to Jubilife City and into the Jubilife TV building. On the third floor, find the man in the bottom left area and he will ask two questions. For the first question, choose “Everyone” “Happy”, then for question two, answer “Wi-fi” “Connection”. This will unlock Mystery Gift in the usual menu before you start the game. From the start menu (before beginning the game) choose Nintendo WFC Settings. If you're using the Android Phone method, set it up as a portable hotspot with security set to none. Otherwise you need a router with WEP protocol. Obviously both methods are a bit of a security risk these days, so don't leave them on for long! Search for an access point within the Pokémon game, and connect to your hotspot (if you're using a 3DS make sure the wifi is switched on on the console before entering the game). Now go back into the settings, and turn off Auto Obtain DNS - instead, type in the Primary DNS as "164.132.044.106" (leave the secondary one as all 0s). Save the settings, then back out of that menu and choose the Mystery Gift option. Search for a gift with Nintendo WFC and receive it. You'll have to go back into Mystery Gift multiple times to receive all the gifts. I tested it out using my phone as a hotspot and it worked perfectly, giving me the https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_local_English_event_Pok%C3%A9mon_distributions_in_Generation_IV mystery gift!

While in game, press Esc to open the menu and click Settings -> Profiles. Select your profile, and press the left button RESET PROGRESS.

No it will not delete the games unless you tell your camera or laptop to format the SD card. So be very careful about what your computer is asking you to do when you plug the card in. In a laptop it will show up as a storage device which you can access and copy the files from your SD card to your computer.

So... here are some long and shorts to your question. 1) You can chose to not delete some data on the receiving (new in your case) 3DS but only the data on your SD card. See here: Target System Tap "Delete" to confirm deletion of all Nintendo 3DS data on the target system's SD Card. Tap the blue "Delete" button to begin the transfer. If "Do Not Delete" is selected, the Target system will request to perform the transfer without deleting the Nintendo 3DS data on the SD Card. Tap "Yes" to begin the transfer. No matter which option is selected, you will need to redownload any preinstalled titles on the target system once the transfer has been completed. When the transfer is complete, tap "OK" to restart the system. 2) Any titles on your system with your Nintendo ID (the old system in your case) can be redownloaded if they're deleted, so long as you don't delete said Nintendo ID. See here: If you deleted the eShop account of whatever user bought the games, then as far as I know access to the games goes as well. For example, if you have User1 and User2 Nintendo Network IDs on the system, purchase a game under User2, then delete User2's account, you may lose access to all the games User2 purchased. Aside from you deleting the account somehow or someone with access to your system deleting it, I don't know how you could lose access to the games. 3) You can't transfer from old to new if the new system has an NNN associated with it. See here and also in the first link I provided: You cannot perform a system transfer if the target system has a Nintendo Network ID linked. You must format the target system to remove the Nintendo Network ID link prior to transferring content. 4) Any programs installed on a system without a Nintendo ID will be retained when a Nintendo ID is added. See here: What is retained: All game licenses purchased prior to linking a Nintendo Network ID. Funds added prior to linking a Nintendo Network ID. (See "What is NOT retained" for restrictions.) Additionally, if a Nintendo Network ID is linked to both a Wii U and a Nintendo 3DS, the Nintendo eShop balance is consolidated and shared between them. All free software demos downloaded prior to linking a Nintendo Network ID. Putting all of this together, it is reasonable to say that: As long as you put the game onto your SD card, it will not be deleted if you follow directions during the transfer. Because the new system is not associated with a Nintendo ID, you can transfer everything from your old 3DS to your new one without any problems. You can transfer over your Nintendo ID to the new system and, as long as you don't reformat the SD card, you'll still have the game.
