How to check whether all story and side missions were completed

I finished the main game and DLCs. How do I know if I picked up all missions or if there's an NPC hiding in some map with some side missions for me?

I was able to figure this out using the https://sourceforge.net/projects/willowtree/ . It has a quest tab, with a full list of all quests and side quests you can just scroll and check for Progress: completed.

Yes, it won't show up as 7, but it will work. This can be verified by using Mordecai's bird of prey skill with his bloodwing and counting the number of hits the bird goes through before returning. However, keep in mind that boosting any probability above 100% won't matter (like having more than 100% chance of shield penetration on trespass). The extra damage % will still count.

In Borderlands, the player who gets the last hit gets full experience, while other players get only partial experience for the kill. More detailed information here: How does experience work in co-op?. The majority of it applies to all Borderlands games. A tidbit of info I just remembered: The achieves give experience, so unlocking different achievements at different intervals will cause fluctuation as well.

These updates made changes to the in-game news. We are currently investigating issues that have appeared since the updates went out, including how some text is displaying and console players being stuck loading the game. Yes, players that have completed missions that reward new items will also receive these items. Upon login, the player will receive a single piece of mail containing all retroactive mission rewards. You can check the wiki for details as to specific mission rewards, but the mail I received contained many items relating to the new Battle Sprites, various heating items, orbs of alchemy, and sparks of life. Edit: I apparently missed this announcement in the patch notes, as they stuck it at the very bottom of a long list of items. Here's the quote... Rarity Distribution to Existing Players All existing players have been sent rarities based on their current Mission Rank. Each player will receive exactly the total number of rarities they would have otherwise received from missions as of this update. All items are bound.

From reading numerous Steam community threads, it seems that some people claim to have found items behind visors. If so, these are extremely rare and this possibility may have been removed altogether after an update. On 17th August 2018 in "Milton Mailbag", Raphael van Lierop of Hinterland provided the following answer to a player's question: People are asking a lot more important questions than me... but I always wondered, what is the point of being able to search the visors in the cars? They never have anything in them. In my first hours with the game I would check them every time. The idea was that sometimes you would find Notes or Keys under them. We may still do that. This suggests that, up to this date, nothing is to be found there.

No they will not IIRC. You shouldn't be receiving rewards from them either. I'd personally recommend using a save edit program (like WillowTree#) to get you up to par on quests/levels with your friends for now.

Annoyingly enough, you can quite easily gain "general" XP (which raises your level) much faster than your individual weapon proficiencies. If you evenly switch between weapons you might not notice a huge difference, but what WILL be noticeable is if you neglect a certain weapon type and suddenly try to use it. A weapon with significantly lower proficiency will perform noticeably worse, which can cause a vicious cycle of you avoiding using that weapon, which means it won't gain proficiency. If you really enjoy using all the weapons I'm not sure I would recommend deliberately not using some weapons in order to boost specific ones because of that effect; if you focus on weapons, they WILL grow faster and it will be noticeable, but you will make those other weapon types MUCH harder to use later on. If you plan to play though playthrough 2 and all DLC, I actually recommend that you spread yourself thin to keep all weapon proficiency nearly even, because once you cap out a weapon (50 is the max level for weapons, even though the player level cap is 69 with the General Knoxx DLC) all weapon XP earned while using that gun goes to complete waste. tl;dr the game will be a bit easier midgame if you focus on just a few weapons, but if you plan to play playthrough 2 and all DLCs and hunt for loot, you'll find you have much more flexibility if you spread around weapon experience.

The benefits for every skill in Borderlands keep scaling in the same degree with skill points granted by mods, up to 9 points. For example, with the right combination of points and mod, you can reduce Bloodwing's cooling time to ~3 sec. A mod with +4 Predator points and 5 points already spent will result in 9 points granting -27s of cooldown (5 * 3 + 4 * 3). In the case of Ransack, since 5 skill points means 100% chance of an extra loot roll, further points are wasted. A mod that includes 4 or 5 points will grant you that 100% as long as you spend one point to activate the skill, leaving 4 points free to learn/upgrade something else.

Not through any sort of UI, but you can drop items on the ground. While in a co-op game with a friend, open up the inventory screen, highlight the item, and press Spacebar (or something else if you're talking about non-PC platforms - it will say across the bottom). Your friend can pick it up. Note that you can't currently trade items among your own characters without routing through a separate player to do so (at least not that I have heard).

No, there is no way to change previous choices in an existing playthrough. Your only option now is to replay through the game starting from the High Overseer Campbell mission, and reach the Flooded District mission again.

Unfortunately, once you've completed the main storyline, romances may no longer be pursued, it seems. From this thread: All romance discontinues after completing the main story. The IGN Guide for the final mission (Doom Upon All the World) also confirms this: You can continue to play after beating the final boss, but some quests will cancel. All quests classified as Inner Circle Side Quests will cancel afterward, including any Sex and Romance quests. As an aside, if you are playing as a female, you are unable to romance Cassandra at any point during the story.

My team completed this tonight. We used a cheese, so up to you if you want to use it. If you place a pike outside the heat bubble when you have frostbite debuff, then get onto it from inside the bubble. You are protected from the frost permanently and can slowly sparrow your way to the end. Update, This cheese has been fixed now Also worth noting that when a Pike is destroyed it will respawn either at the start or nearby. So be sure to check the first spawn, then Sparrow the route to pickup the Pike again along the route. You can use the Fallen teleporters in each heat bubble to teleport back a bubble. Here is the route.
