Ice Stone (Pokemon Sword)

I'm new and I was wondering what type of Pokemon take Ice Stones in Pokemon Sword? I have tried to give the stone to my Ice Pokemon and it says "Incompatible," if anyone knows the answer to this question please respond back. Thank You!

In Pokémon Sword & Shield, there are only 4 Pokémon that evolve using an https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Ice_Stone :
- Alolan Sandshrew -> Alolan Sandslash
- Alolan Vulpix -> Alolan Ninetales
- Galarian Darumaka -> Galarian Darmanitan
- Eevee -> Glaceon

It appears trade invites works differently from Dynamax raid invites. While you actively join Dynamax teams, for trade you both of you have to broadcast invitation and then wait for game to match you. Get access to "Y menu". Plot will force it upon you early on. Ensure both of you are in same network mode (+ in Y menu) Get first badge on both consoles (maybe optional, but for me it worked after getting it) Open Link Trade on both consoles (Y menu) Set same Link Code on both consoles. Do not use 1111 as code or random players will connect and block your trade attempt. Start trading on both consoles. Quit Y menu, you cant start trade from "stamps" list. Do nothing while game searches for traders, it will take 10-30 seconds Once you get message about trade, double check other player info. Trade. I got it to work in Internet mode on same WiFi, successfully traded between Sword and Shield versions. If you still have trouble with connecting, eg. not seeing invites or getting error while joining Dynamax team: Save game. Close game. Disconnect wifi. Connect wifi. Start game. Try Dynamax raid to confirm it works.

Unfortunately, it is not possible spawn 1 or 2 star raids after you finish the story. Raid dens will only spawn 3+ star raids. I have confirmed this by playing 100+ hours after finishing the story, and never encountered a 1 or 2 star raid (except for those appearing in the Y-Comm). A few Youtubers doing raids have confirmed this as well.

As Wondercricket said in his answer there is no built-in way to recognize a Gigantimax Pokemon from a regular one without checking its summary. That said, what is worth mentioning is that marks that you apply on a Pokemon are visible while scrolling the box list. This means that you can use marks to create your very own categorization system. While in the Sun/Moon era this was used mostly to mark perfect IV in a specific stat, now they are more often used to mark other things (since the judge feature kinda eliminates the need for specific IV markers). For example, take in consideration this (obviously unofficial) table created by a Youtube user (link below) with some suggestions: (source here, ) Obviously this is not a full solution but could help you to avoid the need to check the summary every time.

From what I have found, each party member will gain EVs even if they did not participate in battle, If you don't want to be constantly updating your party, this leads two effective strategies to be: Farming money to buy Vitamins. Vitamins are items that increase EVs all the way up to the max amount. But they do cost quite a bit, so you will need to farm up some money in game to buy them all. Sending Pokemon on seminars from the Job Board in Pokemon Centers. This allows you to train up to 10 Pokemon per stat at once, but it takes real world time to do. More detailed information can be found in my source, but I have also now tried all of this myself to confirm. So the most effective way mostly depends on your play-style: With lots of play time you can just farm up money with an Amulet Coin (found behind the Motostoke outskirts sign) and buy all the vitamins, you can also play the Battle Tower and buy vitamins with BP. Vitamins purchased can instantly fully EV train a Pokemon, you would need 25 for your two stats, bringing them to 250 each, then either a 26th vitamin or one hour with the below method to hit the 252 max. Or you can log in daily and send up to 10 Pokemon off on a seminar, then return the next day and do it again. From my experience sending a Pokemon off for a whole day rewards 96 EVs. There are however mulitple time options to suit your playstyle, all awarding 4 EVs per hour: Timeframe Text Actual Time EVs Obtained With PowerItem Whole Day 24 hours 96 288 Half Day 12 hours 48 144 Very Long 8 hours 32 96 Long 4 hours 16 48 Short 3 hours 12 36 Very Short 2 hours 8 24 Just a little 1 hours 4 12 As noted on Serebii, having your Pokemon hold one of the Power Items will also increase the EVs obtained from the jobs. Buying these power items is a great investment, each adds +8 EVs per hour to the Pokemon holding it, effectively tripling the amount of EVs gained per hour! It will not take much game time, but this method could be more real world time as it will take several days to fully train a Pokemon, unless you have the power items, then it can take just over two days (one full 24 hours for each of the two stats, then you use another hour for the remaining third stat for 4 EVs).

In Generation III's Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald; the player's father is Norman, the leader of the Petalburg City gym. There does not appear to be any word from Game Freak or Nintendo (official or otherwise) that I can find regarding the lack of a father in all the other Pokemon games. So the answer to that is largely in the realm of speculation and various fan theories that range from single mother, off on his own adventure, working hard to support family (but is never seen), divorce, or death.

The OHKO moves (such as Horn Drill) won't have any affect on a Dynamax Pokemon, except when they have a shield. The move removes 2 shield points (rather than the usual 1), but it does no damage if they do not have a shield. The Weight Moves (such as Heavy Slam and the Grass Knot you mentioned) will also not have any affect, your Pokemon will not use those moves against Dynamax Pokemon as Dynamax have a weight of ??? as shown in the Pokedex. It seems that moves that affect the held item, such as Knock Off and Bug Bite don't work as well. Also moves that affect the Pokemon's ability, such as Skill Swap will not work. Lastly moves that send the pokemon away, such as Whirlwind do not work. Paul's answer is certainly great with that list, however Serebii actually has a second list on a different page that includes the weight moves and others. As mentioned in Pyrite's comment, Curse (when used by a Ghost type) does actually work. Here is proof I recorded. Based on a ranking of positive match-ups against the core meta and the entire format, the Mega Pokemon with the best match-ups is Mega Gyarados (about 85% against the core meta and 95% against the entire format). This is followed by Mega Latios, who has a lower win rate against the core meta (79%) but a higher win rate against the entire format (96%). A

Tap on your Heroes Altar, then tap Hire Heroes. Scroll to the right until you see the "Hire with Soulstones" option, then tap on that. That will open the dialog where you can redeem 200 Soulstones for the equivalent hero: Once you're there scroll to the hero you want and if you have enough Soulstones you can hit Exchange to get a copy of said hero. Note: this answer was written for game version 1.3.16 - IGG may move this dialog in future versions.

As mentioned in the question, encountering Spiritomb requires talking to 32 trainers online. You can't encounter Spiritomb without talking to trainers online, which requires a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

If you got wiped out by your legendary during the story, renter the Cave of Origin. On the second floor when going down, there is the normal stair-case, as well as another entrance to the west. Take the entrance and keep going downwards that way. You should eventually be able to encounter your respective legendary in another room. There’s no evidence the Pokémon type changes the resource gathered, at the present time. However, some things do: Which area you’re in. Further areas, particularly Coronet Highlands and beyond, get iron instead of some of the stone regularly. Glittering ores give bonuses such as iron and stardust. Shaking trees and ores give more resources once you defeat or capture the Pokémon that comes out.

According to https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Steel_Beam_(move) , Zacian and Zamazenta can learn Steel Beam. Despite their Steel type being conditional, their form is irrelevant in this case A Move Tutor will teach Steel Beam to any Steel-type Pokémon (except for Dusk Mane Necrozma), as well as both Zacian and Zamazenta. Arceus and Silvally can also learn the move regardless of their current type

As far as Serebii datamined, they found only the focused one had any chance of fetching the gold bottle caps. On the image shown beyond, we can see a 0% to get the golden cap. This is most likely false since some people got it, yet it must be less than 1% hence it's very rare status. This reddit link got some more data. But the most you can learn from it (except the datasheet link there) is that there is a special animation when you dig it.
