A Game with giant blue bird (Pterodactyl) and wooden factory of robot parts
Trying to find game I played as a child with following setting A Game with giant blue bird (Pterodactyl) with Magnet in its Paws and wooden factory spawning robot parts, by throwing them out of the factory.
You were the Pterodactyl and you were supposed to fly the bird and turn on or off the electromagnet it had in its paws. So you could do Permutation and Combination of parts to build tiny robot / tank machines who would then fight with each other.
The core concept was building robots / tanks to beat opponent tanks which were pre created per level.
This could be the stone age parts of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tanktics_(1999_video_game) , a pc strategy game from 1999.
You would build tanks by picking up and dropping various parts. Your main method of interacting with the game world is by using a magnet carried by some sort of flying creature. Factories would spit out random parts for building tanks which would then fight for you. Depending on the parts, the tanks would have different movement speed on various terrain and different types of attack. You could put a lot of parts on one tank to give it more attacks, or spread the parts out on multiple smaller tanks.
As you went through the game, you would find areas vaguely themed around historical areas. For example, there is a medieval area where you control a dragon instead.
