How do I get all heroes to the same map location in Dota 2

When playing Dota 2 how do I get other heroes to support my hero?

Notice I keep dying when all opponent heroes arrive at the one location and make a 5 versus 1 battle against my hero. However, I do not seem to be able to achieve this tactic against my opponents. I am playing beginner mode if that affects the answer.

While I can transport my hero to support hero locations I really want to be able to have my support heroes attack a location or opponent hero I feel is critical.

Is there a way to achieve this?

Use pings (ALT + Left Click) on enemy heroes and objects. This will help focus the bots' attention on your targets.

It's far less an issue in coh2 I have never seen anyone go full artillery online. There are units with a large range but they cost a lot and need to be defended. Morters are common early game but not for attacking bases. It's much harder for people to turtle and spam artillery in coh2 so no one really does it.

I'd like to know if there's a console command to view your current gpm or gold collected (or any other scoreboard stats) on screen as you're playing the game. So there is only one console command that i found that would be applicable, but i don't know what it does: dota_gold_summary. The description says it 'prints out gold info', however i did not get it to work in a bot game. That would be an indication to me that it is already present or does not work (since there are no default values listed). There is also no need to turn on sv_cheats, as these are almost all related to units and heroes, and i couldn't find any relevant gold commands. Tas mentions correctly in the comments that there was a gpm tracker as part of a battle pass quest. However, this is not available in the current TI Compendium (There is however a NetWorth quest, and if you did not finish it yet, you can use that if you really want to). However, i feel there is a second part to your question: how to get better at acquiring more gold My personal recommendation would be two-fold: End the game at 15 minutes, and check your networth and Last Hits. If you really want to know how well you do in a bot game after 15 minutes, then this is the closest you will get to a representative number. This will only work if you have a benchmark for a specific hero and lane to compare it too, and i think that will be really hard to find unless you watch pro streamers a lot or go through dotabuff or opendota. Therefor, i think you should... Play unranked games. While it is fun to check if you can max out on last hits in a bot game, these games will not prepare you for the actual game. While i do not know what roles you play or want to practise with or even what MMR you play at, bot games are too much of an ideal situation. You have to account from pressure of an actual enemy team, and if for instance you are playing a snowballing mid (such as Storm, Templar Assassin or Shadow Fiend), there is a greater chance that you will be ganked mid, or that your farm may be more difficult, but there is also a chance that your support stacked a camp that you can clear for additional farm and maybe catch-up or further your lead. It looks like you already have a plan to improve and that is admirable, but without some more additional info on what you want to improve and in what lane and with what hero(es), this is the best general advice i can give you here, because i feel that is where you should focus your attention to, instead of finding a gpm tracker.

Affinities would change the gameplay dramatically. Every hero, every item and every strategy would be totally different from what they used to be. The changes in MOBAs are created gradually. For instance, a new item, a new hero, the remake of a spell etc. This is to make the game coherent. Remember, Dota 2 is an e-sport with millions of dollars in terms of prizes every year. A dramatic change like that would turn everything upside down. When your product produces money you don't change the recipe. It's like suddenly changing the very core rules of Basketball. You can't. Not when you have millions of players and hundreds of millions in revenue. A dramatic change like that sounds like Dota 3 to me or even a whole different game. To answer your other questions: Don't you think it'll elevate the gameplay in terms of drafting? Other than just timings, don't you think affinities will provide more depth in the way spell combinations are being executed? This is a personal opinion but YES, something like that sounds awesome. Nevertheless I wouldn't expect a dramatic change like that for the reasons stated above.

Not really an answer since this not moving thing really looks like a bug, but here we go. I would say the problem is package loss. See, all the information of what is happening in the game goes to your computer through internet (that is obvious), and if you timed out I figure you are having some internet problems (also obvious). Maybe dota isn't getting all the information it needs from the server or something like that. For me, when I reconnect, little things bug... like my own creeps appearing as they're enemy's creeps and I only realize they're mine because my hero won't attack them. I would close dota, make sure my connection is ok through some tool like iTraffic Monitor (I've been using it for a long time and the internet graphics are pretty useful to tell if your connection is fully back on or just spiking), then I would open dota again and see if the problem is gone. Sadly, I think there is nothing valve can do about it right now. Your internet is not getting all the data the server is sending to you. The game tries to run with the information it has but it doesn't know what to do if it doesn't have enough information. To be more graphic, let's say the HP of a hero is lost. It's just some bytes but if they get lost how the game would behave? I don't know. The game will try to guess the HP? The hero will have full HP? My solution as a programmer would be don't let the player in if the game is not getting ALL the information it needs. But I guess that's not valve's approach since some information can be lost without interfering in the player's experience. That's a tough one.

Go into the Map Editor and select File -> Open in the Menu. Then click on the Tab "Battle.net" on the left, Log In with your SC2 account details and then you can open any map that is published on the Battle.Net server, including Blizzard maps. You can also play one of the YABOT or SALT maps with a friend. YABOT allows for a restart of the game on-the-fly and SALT allows to save gamestates and reload them, which allows you to test stuff quicker since you don't always have to open up the map again.

Yes, this is noted on the Silph Road Gen 2 Release megathread: Newly caught gen 1 pokemon can have new moves too, like Iron Tail on Dratini. Evolving an already owned gen 1 pokemon can also result in a new moveset, like getting a Dragon Rage/Outrage Gyarados from your old Magikarp. To prove this, I started evolving my old Pokémon that had updated movesets until I got one with a Gen 2 move: As you can see, I caught this Seaking as a Goldeen on 9/11/2016, long before the release of Gen 2, but it has Ice Beam, which was only just added to Seaking's move pool with the release of Gen 2.

Recalibration It is not possible to know exactly how many mmr you got from each calibration/recalibration match as that value is hidden. However, many people have speculated it to be between 50-75. If you've lost 7 out of 10 calibration games i.e. 4 net losses, and lost 200 mmr, that would leave you with -50 per loss in your recalibration, which would still fall into the anecdotal range. Ranks Ranks are based on player percentages, not a specific mmr. As such, towards the end of a season, it is generally easier to achieve a higher rank even if you did not play any game recently, due to the inflation in mmr. That's the reason why you will never find an accurate estimate unless it is updated at least weekly. For example, in Season 3, I calibrated at Ancient 3 during the start of the season. Towards the end of the season, I played and lost exactly one game but I got promoted to Ancient 6. This is because the average level of the players at Ancient 3 have dropped and my mmr is closer to that of an Ancient 6 at the end of the season, compared to that at the start. Also, there was a change to stars per rank around October. Now that there are only 5 stars per rank, players have been pushed up accordingly. I recalibrated at Ancient 5 at the start of Season 4, but after that rank update I was moved to Divine 1 despite not having played any game.

By no means is this an exhaustive list, but here are a few suggestions: Anyone with pure damage has an edge. Bristle tends to build his defences to maximise his damage reduction, but pure damage ignores these. He'll still get reduction from turning his back but it can still be a lot of damage going through. OD, Silencer, Timbersaw and Pudge are good examples; Enchantress tends to be a bit too squishy since Quill Spray ignores Untouchable. Draining his mana can hurt him a lot in the mid-game, as he won't be able to keep Quill Spray and Warpath up for speed and damage. OD steals int in a fight and drains mana with his ult and Silencer steals int permanently (both from far enough away to avoid trouble), while KotL drains mana and limits his mobility. Lengthy silences can also help accomplish this. Lowering Bristle's strength causes him to lose health without the "damage" being reduced. Timbersaw can do this with Whirling Death, and Slark can do it repeatedly on hit (although Slark will need to be doing well already to withstand Quill Spray). Doing damage that scales with the target's HP also ignores a lot of his tankiness. Necrophos' ult can kill Bristle from 1/4-1/2 health, depending on his facing (and often Bristle faces forward until he gets lower), saving half the effort of killing him. Doom's Infernal Blade can lead a fight well to lower Bristle's HP. AA's Ice Blast prevents his healing, but more importantly reduces the kill threshold to a percentage of his health. Holding him in place or forcing him to change direction allows your team to get in front of him and deal with him. Axe and Legion Commander can force him to face them for a little (and Culling Blade doesn't care about damage reduction). Pudge or Bane both have relatively long disables that force him to stand still, allowing the team to deal damage from the front. Break disables Bristleback, negating his damage reduction. Anyone who builds Silver Edge can do this (e.g. Legion), or Doom/Shadow Demon can if they have Aghanim's. To a lesser degree, stuns, slows and turn rate slows (such as Sticky Napalm) prevent Bristle from using his mobility (mostly from Warpath) to manoeuvre around a fight, allowing a team to position around him without him being able to turn his back easily. In a similar vein, being mobile lets you get in front of Bristle even if he tries to turn away. Timbersaw is good at this. Finally, armour reduction or damage amplification such as Medallion of Courage or Shadow Demon's Soul Catcher are helpful (if not a direct counter), helping to maximise any damage that does go through, despite reductions. You may have noticed a few heroes show up multiple times and have multiple features that help against Bristleback, such as Silencer and OD. Indeed, according to Dotabuff's stats, Bristleback currently has the worst win rate against the following heroes: Necrophos KotL OD Silencer AA Legion Commander Timbersaw Dazzle As an extra note, always buy a magic wand against Bristleback. His rapid casting provides lots of charges that can really swing a lane or a fight against him.

So first, normally you have to be in the area (1300) to get assist gold, you have to do damage on the unit to get +1 on your assist counter. For assist experience it is the same, 1300 in area. The killer does not have to be in range to get the killer experience and gold, but if it isn't in range of the 1300, it won't get assist gold/exp. So that is what normally happens and you can apply that to your questions. When a hero dies to a tower/creep, it will check if anyone is around. If no one is around (like the Bone7 clip), it will give credit to nobody and everyone on the team splits the hero kill gold (which is around 100, so 20 each). If someone is in the 1300 area, but did not do damage, they will get the assist gold split between him and other heroes around. If one of the heroes did enough damage to get an assist counter (+1) and they are within 1300 range, they will be attributed the kill, and everyone in 1300 range gets the assist gold. If multiple heroes did enough damage to get an assist counter, they will split the gold. In Summary (from the Wiki When a Hero dies to creeps or a tower and is assisted by only one enemy, the enemy is credited with the kill. When there are multiple enemies within 1300 range, the gold is split equally amongst all Heroes that assisted. All allied Heroes that are in a 1300 radius of a killed enemy, including the killer, will be granted a certain amount of reliable gold and experience, depending on the amount of allied Heroes in that area. Note that the assist counter on the scoreboard only counts assists that you dealt damage to, but gold and experience are awarded independently of your "assist" counter.

I eventually got it when I "secured" Africa. I don't know exactly the mechanics behind it or why I got it right away for box quest 3. Maybe just try to wait for a while you, should get it before LVL 90.

These are called farming positions. In a nutshell, they rank how much farm (gold and XP) each player needs. Position 1 needs the most, so they usually play in the safelane (that's bottom for Radiant and top for Dire). Position 2 and 3 usually correspond to midlane carries and offlaners respectively, while 4 and 5 are supports.

They do not stack. There's also seem to be a bug in the sense if you have 2 Quelling Blade in your inventory and drop one the game removes the bonus as if you didn't have any. More info here

tl;dr : No, DotA 2 doesn't support yet custom game mode. DotA 2 is a full online game (Appart for some tournament where players play on local lobby). This means that the game settings are set on Valve's server and thus can not be changed. Either you play All Pick, Captain's Mode or ARDM you can not turn off deny when playing matchmaking. Even if you create a private lobby, there are no option implemented at the moment that allows such thing. However, with the release of Source 2 coming early 2015, DotA 2 is on the way to fully support custom games modes which could lead to DotA games where denying is turned off. Still this would not be an official DotA game and you might not find many players to play with you. That being said, learning to deny is a concept inner to DotA. If your friend has trouble denying he can use the folowing command dota_force_right_click_attack "1" which makes denying a lot easier since you can right click to deny and are not longer required to press the Attack key then select the creep you want to deny (This command can be written in an autoexec.cfg file so you don't have to type it everytime you start the game. If it's the whole concept of denying that is the issue then I'm afraid there is not much more you can do, denying is a part of DotA and is a very interesting game mechanic. It can help you control your lane (if you want to push or not), it forces you to decide if you want to commit for a tower kill or if you let it being denied, you can even do some clutch plays and deny allies when they are low life thus denying some much needed XP and Gold to the enemy team.
