What is the use of resetting your pay rank?

When maxed in Profreshionnal, I had an option to 'reset my rank'

Thinking it would give me some bonuses or some straight cash, or at least tell me what it did, I hit it.

No popup to explain anything to gain or changes, and it just went to Profreshionnal 40.

Is there a use to resetting your rank?

It's there for players who want to play with lower level friends without having them be overwhelmed. Also, it's what a lot of players should do after an easy shift.

Pink Capsules! As you earn points doing salmon runs, you'll unlock various capsules (and the latest piece of Grizzco gear). Go to the window to the left of the entrance to the Salmon Run lobby, and you'll be able to obtain the reward from all your earned capsules. Per the Wiki: Blue Capsules: Drink Tickets Green Capsules: Ability Chunks Orange Capsules: Multiplier Tickets Pink Capsules: Grizzco Gear Yellow Capsules: Cash (Note that all capsules besides the pink capsule have a 50% chance of containing 4000 gold rather than their standard reward, pink capsules will always contain a piece of gear) The pink capsules will contain a random piece of Grizzco gear (with either 0, 1, or 3 slots filled), and includes all previous pieces of gear.

Digging around on the web, a lot of sites seem to lead to two things: Marina either defected from the Octoling society, or liked the Inkling better, and decided to stay there. A GameFAQ post discusses this a bit. The Sunken Scrolls in Splatoon 2, specifically, the second scroll which depicts the final battle in Hero Mode between Agent 3 and DJ Octavio (explanation below). The first bullet for the most part speaks for itself, but I think the second bullet is more appropriate and I'll attempt to explain my thoughts. The in game description for this scroll states: Music heads are still buzzing over that legendary underground show two years ago. Anyone lucky enough to catch DJ Octavio's opening set and the Squid Sisters headlining had their minds blown and their lives changed that night. The scroll can be seen below: Circled in the picture, is Marina, which is also noted on the Scrolls Wiki page as well as on Marina's page. Marina was apparently present for the battle between Agent 3 and DJ Octavio. Considering the above description for this scroll which states " Anyone lucky enough to catch DJ Octavio's opening set and the Squid Sisters headlining had their minds blown and their lives changed that night," I think Marina's life changed after this event, and she decided to join the Inkling society.

Covenant rank progression carries over to new game according to the Dark Souls 3 Wiki What carries over to New Game Plus: Covenant allegiance. All your consumables, armor, weapons, equipment, stats, INCLUDING coiled sword fragment. Estus and bonfire updates. Hollowing. Friendship with Giant of the Undead Settlement (his arrows won't hurt the player, only enemies, without talking to him) as long as you keep "his" white birch branch *On other various forum's, users have confirmed that Covenant Progress is caried over in NG+

The job score is the number of Golden Eggs the team collected, plus the whole number of Power Eggs divided by 200. This number is then multiplied based on each player's pay grade multiplier to form the final "Grizzco points" which are then added to see if the player earns a bonus for their work from Mr. Grizz In the example shown below, the team collected 48 golden eggs and 1978 power eggs (the orange ones). Using it on grass with enough space will cause long grass and flowers to appear. You can also use the bone meal on the underside of the block and long grass will still grow.

A

No, the defensive power of Ink Armor cannot stack; you either have it, or you don't. However, a second activation will reset the "health" of your armor back to 30 damage points. I don't know for certain how the duration is affected, but the most likely scenario is that the armor will last until the special gauge of the player who activated it last runs out. Someone ought to test this!

Funneling is sometimes simple, and other times complicated. If you encounter a base with straight walls and less intersection of walls. That is simple to funnel. If the base has lot of (non-defence)buildings outside then that particular side is hard to funnel. Method (how to do it) Place your tanking troops(giant,golem,lava) first on one side. Wait until all defences are locked on those tanks. Then deploy funneling troops(wizards,baby dragons,archers). Next step is to wait another few seconds and then deploy wall breakers in groups of 2. So it goes like this TAP TAP .... TAP TAP .. and so on. Here waiting is a key because your wizards are clearing outside buildings and thus when it is clean, wallbreakers are more likely to target to centre. Once the way to centre is open then you can drop pekkas. Drop pekks carefully because if you misplaced it then there is high chance that they will go merry-go-round the base. Pekka will target nearest building when deployed so drop it in such a way that it will go inside the base. Thats the method called funneling. (PS. Hopefully that was comprehensive)

Rank is purely cosmetic and do not offer any benefits gameplay-wise. The helmets released so far are dependent on weapon unlocks.

From the employee handbook available on grizzco industries, you can nothing more than just the usual: All equipment necessary for collecting Power Eggs (weapons, gear, ink tanks) will be provided by the company. There is no need for employees to prepare anything themselves, so first-timers needn't worry. However, the splatoon wiki says that during two times period salmon runs also provided a Grizzco Blaster and a Grizzco Brella. During gameplay, I could notice that there are way more than 4 weapons available, but they seen to be a limited amount. Also, the Grizzco Brella is also available today.

Yes it is possible to get demoted Demotion happens when your current League Points reach 0 and you lose enough games to get demoted. When you are demoted you go to one division below your current and get 75 LP in that division e.g. if you are in Gold II and get demoted you will fall to Gold III and have 75LP. There is also a demotion immunity grace period for several games, in which you can't get demoted to a lower division, which activates when you get promoted to a higher division. This is to make sure you don't fall to your previous division due to bad luck. However, one will demote out of Masters into Diamond I after playing at least 3 games, then losing with 0LP. During server issues losing a game and getting "Loss Prevented" prevents demotion and will not count as a game for Promotion Series - you won't lose them due to that game. As of Season 4, it is possible to be demoted from a tier. If you are in division 5 of a tier and your MMR drops an entire tier, you will be warned about possible demotion. For example, a player in Gold V would receive a warning upon reaching Silver V MMR.

When a Griller enemy spawns, a group of Smallfry will spawn with it. During a Griller wave, Smallfry will constantly spawn, around 1 every 2-3 seconds.

In order to unlock the hero weapons for use in PvP you must go through Octo Canyon and complete every single mission and boss with the weapon you wish to unlock. For example if you want to get the Hero Dual Splats, you need to complete every mission and boss with the Dual Splats. After you complete all of the levels with the weapon you will unlock the weapon for use in PvP. There is one weapon though that you are unable to unlock right now which is the Hero Brella weapon. When you complete all the levels with the Brella Sheldon will mention that he is still working on this one. Once Nintendo releases the Umbrella weapons the Hero Brella should be unlocked.

Specific advantages: Faster charge time. You can fire into a passageway where you suspect an enemy is about to appear, and unlike an instantaneous shot the arrow has a much higher chance of hitting someone, simply because it's around for a longer time. Deadly taunt Leaving arrows sticking out of enemies is awesome. You can launch flaming arrows! Just let a friendly pyro or soldier with the Righteous Bison shoot you while pulling back the string. In general, the bow is better for shorter ranges. If I'm holding a rifle I can usually counter-snipe bow-using snipers easily; on the other hand, defending cramped spots or running along with other attackers is far easier with the bow. It's really a weapon recommend for aggressive snipers. In my personal opinion, a bow-wielding sniper is nice but it's not the truly scary thing thing a good rifle-wielding sniper is, and I only use the bow in specific situations. Not that I say that the bow should be underestimated, but the rifle: Is easier to hit with, in my opinion, because of the instantaneous bullet. Has a potential for higher damage. Is much harder to dodge. ... so I prefer it.

Yes, after time runs out, the game will continue to wait for any animations to complete, such as for suction bombs, and add their ink to the final result. This is the same behaviour as the first game.
