What software to handle a PS2 disk (create/delete/extend/move partitions)?

I was wondering what free tools were available to format an hard disk to be readable by a PS2, create and manage partitions, extend, rename them.

From a PS2 directly you can use the HDD Manager inside the LaunchELF (Misc section) file manager included with https://github.com/TnA-Plastic/FreeMcBoot

I would personally try a LAN connection with an Ethernet cable. Let me know if that does not work. Do that by following these steps: 1. Turn the PS2 and broadband modem off. 2. Connect the network cable to the modem’s Ethernet port and the Ethernet port on your PS2 network adapter. 3. Turn the broadband modem on. Now turn on the PS2. 4. Load the Network Access Disc in the PS2. 5. Follow the on-screen setup instructions. Refer to the Network Access Disc manual for further support.

Registration has changed since Minecraft was first released. You no longer get a Minecraft account. Instead, you register a Mojang account using your email address. Once you have a Mojang account and have paid to make it a premium account, you will have the ability to choose a screen name and log into Minecraft with your Mojang account.

You can add multiple tags (or properties) when giving yourself an item. If you are familiar with JSON it is very similar to that. In this example CanPlaceOn:["minecraft:melon_block"] and display:{Name:"Box"} are tags, you can add multiple tags to an item by separating it with a comma. Therefore you can spawn the item using the following: /give @p jukebox 1 0 {CanPlaceOn:["minecraft:melon_block"],display:{Name:"Box"}}

I've softmodded my Wii to run HomeBrew software, and haven't updated the main Wii OS since, the changes are not that important, and if you wait for the new softmod to be avaibable for the new version, you can do it that way. There is a very small chance of bricking, and the newer methods are very foolproof.. Regarding upgrading, Menu 4.2 : Deletes the Homebrew Channel v1.0.4 (title ID HAXX) and below and DVDX v1 (title ID DVDX). Now uses IOS70. Wii Shop Channel updated. Use WiiSCU or DOP-Mii to update the shop channel. Most of the IOS's have been updated or stubbed. Updates your boot2 to boot2v4, overwriting BootMii/boot2. Checks for region converted Korean Wii (checks for korean common key inside EEPROM?) if so then brick with a 003 Error. Improved region checking for discs and titles, the system menu now checks the Title ID from the TMD. As far as we know, System Menu 4.2 adds no new functionality. No games, homebrew or official, require System Menu 4.2 to be installed. In conclusion, just a bunch of checks to brick/restore your Wii if you are running softmods or homebrew additions. And the next update 4.3: Deletes the Homebrew Channel and DVDX, title IDs HAXX, DVDX, JODI, DISC, and DISK. Now uses IOS80. IOS254 stubbed - BootMii is deleted. Fixed Bannerbomb less stupidly this time. Added IOS58. HackMii Installer Userland+Syscall IOS exploit removed ES_AddTitleFinish now checks the signature (Trucha Bug Restorer and similar won't work anymore) So it only adds usb webcam support (IOS58) and more checks to brick/restore your Wii if softmods are detected. So the last 2 major "upgrades" were just to brick/revert your wii if you were running a softmode/homebrew software, enough reason for me to stop updating the OS and enjoy the homebrew software.

Yes, as long as you use the official memory card adaptor: while they might work fine for reading, third-party adapters are hit-or-miss when it comes to writing back to PS2 memory cards. PS3 Explained has a writeup, but the general workflow is: Connect the memory card adapter to the PS3 via one of the USB ports in the front and insert the physical PS3 memory card. Under the Game section of the XMB, select the Memory Card Utitlity (PS/PS2) option, navigate to your virtual memory cards, press △, select the "copy" function, and choose the physical memory card.

I don't know of any way of making the PS3 act like a server. It certainly doesn't support access via FTP, SAMBA or anything similar. You also cannot access data on the PS3's hard drive by plugging it into a PC. The hard drives are encrypted and the data format is not supported on PC. Not only can you not put the hard disk in a PC, you can't even put it into a different PS3 to access the data. A PS3's hard drive is locked to that PS3's motherboard. If you transplant it to another PS3, the other PS3 will need to reformat the disk before it can be used.

In these situations, there is no way of knowing without doing it, and even then, Nintendo might change it later on (I would imagine that even in the best case scenario your brother's account will have a note on it that it is associated with a hacked console, and Nintendo might decide in the future to ban any account that has even a little smell of a hacked console). I hope you know that homebrewing/jailbreaking your console will void any warranty, and comes with big risks of bricking your console. So if you jailbreak/homebrew your Switch, be ready to lose both accounts and everything bought on them. Just to give you an idea of the lengths Nintendo goes to screw over those who play 'outside the bounds', every physical game of switch comes with a unique code, and they can straight ban every single copy of that cart if they see one that weirdly starts popping all over the place, and I guess put a notice to every account that loaded it. On that console, Nintendo shows that they are not messing around. And really, its not like you dont have other options if you want to emulate oldies. Emulators up to N64 run on about anything (phones and computers) and they don't come with that heavy caviat. TLDR: Don't do it, you will probably destroy a 300$ piece of hardware and lose anything bought with accounts that have touched the console. If you want to play old games, get an emulator elsewhere.

It's not different, but in both cases there is a problem. There will be logs for connection and disconnection which are generated by users (including you), and doing a delete in log will cause the log entries for your current connection to be deleted (i.e. the connection entry and the authentication entry), however, when you disconnect, another log entry documents your disconnection. If an administrator just sees a disconnection log, they can trace that connection (almost?) as easily as if you hadn't deleted the connection and authentication entries. It's important that there are matching entries for connections and disconnections, therefore, you should not delete all the logs in the folder, just make sure that there will only be sets of log entries available (i.e. connection and disconnection — I tend to remove even the current authentication log entry). I'm not certain if the game knows whether two log entries actually belong to the same connection, or if it 'assumes' that you were connected the whole time.

I Don't know if it still works, but have you tried to press "Del" Key when the ship is selected? Also, i found this on Anno Online FAQ How can I sink a ship? You can use the demolish mode that you normally use to demolish buildings to sink ships. It can be activated by left-clicking the pickaxe button in the menu in the lower right corner. You will be given no refund by doing this.

Senpai! To make room for a new fighter, you can either let one die in the Tower of Barbs, then select to dismiss them from the Freezer rather than recovering them, or you can just rack up more SPLithium to upgrade your Freezer space from the TDM menu! Good luck out there, and don't give up climbing for the top!

I had the same issue, and managed to fix it by transfering the .WBFS or .ISO files from Wii Backup Manager. Transferring the game to the drive appears to make it run properly.

You can't remove the DLC (or choose not to install it) once you've purchased it. You can contact Steam support (as I noted in this answer) and ask them to remove items from your library, and they will generally do so. Do note that you'll never be able to get this back again without paying, however. In most of my CoD experiences, the map pack playlists are separate from the base game playlists, so you may just be mistaken about not being able to play with people who don't have the packs. You should still have access to the base game playlists even when the map packs are installed. Another route might be attempting to remove the DLC files from your machine. I don't have this game on Steam to test this theory, but I believe the map pack files are stored in two locations: In your Steam folder, look for steamapps - in this folder, there should be some *.ncf files that correspond to the map packs, for example: steamapps\call of duty modern warfare 2 resurgence pack.ncf You might try removing this file and seeing if the map pack no longer registers. There are also related files in: steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\zone\dlc I'd suggest backing any candidate files up by copying them to some other location before you delete the versions in steamapps. However, the worst case scenario is probably just that you have to run Steam's verify utility if you delete a file you shouldn't have.
