Will this setup allow me to grow a large jungle tree in Minecraft?

I’ve been trying to grow a large jungle tree in a specific area, but the problem is nothing seems to be growing, and I’m not sure if the reason is how close it is to the walls or whatever the problem is.

Should this setup hail results, and if not, what can I do to fix it? How much space do I need on the side of the tree for it to grow?

In order to grow a 2×2 tree (be it spruce, jungle or dark oak), four saplings must be placed adjacent to each other in a square. For growth to succeed, there must be no blocks adjacent (even diagonally) to the north-western side up to the final height of the tree.

This jungle tree cannot grow because of the red wool block (looking from the northwestern corner)

And this looks like your case.
If you really want that wall so close to the tree, remove the wall and make the tree grow, then rebuild it in the same position.

Yes, it's server-side and also saved to file. It has to be server-side, because it determines where mobs spawn, crops grow, etc. That's also why lighting bugs often persist relogging and only get fixed when placing/removing/blocking/unblocking a light source. Sunlight is saved in two-dimensional matrices that include the height of highest opaque block in every column. Block light is stored per block. The total light gets calculated from both sources at runtime. Nothing is saved in the block data, because that would require every block to be a block entity, which would be very laggy. Instead it's a separate system. The client then uses these light levels, together with their source (block or sun), the time of day (evening is more red than noon) and your brightness setting to determine which colour and brightness to apply when rendering the blocks and entities. Here are the steps: Chop some trees to get logs. You will need 32 logs. You can convert 4xlogs to Wooden Planks. Convert all logs to 8 Wooden Planks. Craft a crafting table (you will need 4 Wooden Planks to craft a crafting table). Kill some sheep to get at least 3 wool from them Use your crafting table from step 3 to create a bed using 3xWooden Planks & 3xWool

Error 503 means that the server is not available at the moment. Mojang might be having a bit of trouble with their servers. The most you can do right now is just try again later. See here on wikipedia for more info.

According to https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Seed_(level_generation)#General , the hash function used is the Java String.hashCode(), which is computed as: s[0]*31^(n-1) + s[1]*31^(n-2) + ... + s[n-1] (where s[i] is the i-th character of the string, n is the length of the string, and ^ indicates exponentiation) Which is clearly a Java method. However, considering that seeds are somewhat compatible across editions, this algorithm could be true for both Java and Bedrock.

You can add structures such as trees and grass (and others) using the Customize interface. As of 12W40A, you have to use More World Options.... From there, set the World Type to Superflat, then click Customize and then Presets. You'll be presented with a box that lets you share presets. The format for these presets can be found on the wiki. To create a superflat world that also generates trees, flowers, and tall grass, use the following preset: 2;7,2x3,2;3;decoration This will generate a world with a layer of bedrock, two layers of dirt above that, and then one layer of grass above that. Trees, flowers, tall grass, and so on will be generated. The trees will be fairly spaced apart. Note that villages cannot be generated here, since they only generate in plains or desert biomes, and the Extreme Hills biome used to add the trees, flowers, and tall grass does not allow villages to spawn. However, structures such as Abandoned Mineshafts and Strongholds can still be generated. Simply add ,mineshaft, ,stronghold, ,dungeon, etc. at the end of the preset. There are various parameters that can be added, such as ,mineshaft(chance=0.1). These parameters are detailed in the wiki. If you want more trees, you can change the 3 to a 4 to use the Forest biome. This will generate trees far more densely.

There is no "Symbol" that appears when a villager unlinks from a bed, but rather green particles that appear when a villager links to a bed. All you need to do is give the villagers bread, or any other type of vegetable (Potatoes, beetroot, etc.) and they should breed again, given that there are enough beds for them to do so.

Pistons can be used to move blocks before the game has a chance to react as it normally would. Embedding entities Normally, when you power a sticky piston with a block on it towards an entity, and the entity has enough room to move, it will be pushed by the block. Zero-ticking a block places it over the space occupied by the entity without moving the entity. This can be used decoratively, e.g. creating 1-block glass 'display cases' with entities (mobs, armor stands) inside, or offensively, causing mobs to suffocate if using solid blocks, or in contraptions where you can overlay an armor stand and a solid block within the same space, e.g. for vertical signal transport using piston and tripwire, crossing with horizontal transport through the block. This can easily be done by placing a button on the side (not the back) of a piston. This will power the piston and the piston powering will instantly break the button causing a 0-tick pulse. Fast block farms Farms such as tree farms, cobblestone farms, and basalt farms generate blocks. Using 0-tick pistons, one can create quick harvesting cycles, as well as quickly moving the blocks from the farm output into a TNT blast chamber or wither cage. Zero-tick plant farms These farms are patched and no longer function as of Java Edition 1.16. Zero-ticking allowed for incredibly fast farms of Bamboo, Cactus, Chorus Plant, Kelp, Sugar Cane, Twisting Vines, and Weeping Vines. The farms worked by exploiting certain buggy behavior. When the block supporting a plant is instantly replaced with another of the same block, the plant forcibly receives a random tick. Chorus Plants require only a single random tick to grow, plants like Cactus and Sugar Cane require 16 random ticks to grow, and still other plants react differently to random ticks. In essence, the exploit allows the plants to grow and be farmed at very high speeds for relatively low build cost. The zero-tick plant growth exploit was observed October 2016 by ToseRedstone. The corresponding bug MC-113809 was documented on the bug tracker February 2017. The bug was accidentally patched in snapshot 18w06a, and it was officially patched in snapshot 20w12a ahead of release 1.16.

The newer launcher "keeps and maintains" it's own java. What you have to do is go to "Edit profile," and in the "Executable," box enter the installed version of java. (ex. C:\Program Files (x--)\Java\Jre-.-.-\bin\javaw.exe or java.exe)

It will definitely be enough, unless someone purposefully increases the file size over a long time. My biggest world is my test world, where I have repeatedly flown around for minutes with maximum speed Spectator mode and have teleported around, built self-replicating machines, tried mods and much more. It is about three gigabytes big. Both my Minecraft folders together are less than 6GB. 2B2T is probably the biggest Minecraft world, with 5518 GB (source, sidebar), but they also have had 350677 unique players so far. Assuming this scales linearly (which doesn't quite work, but it's an approximation), the 128 GB in your setup should be enough for your 6 players for the next 1355 years. What you should really worry about is CPU power. A single Raspberry Pi isn't even able to keep up the tickrate in an empty world with 2 chunks render distance, so you might need a pretty big cluster to host a server for 6 people at once, in a normal world, with proper render distance.

While it's individual to given plant, in most cases applying bonemeal (right-click the plant while holding bonemeal in hand) makes them progress towards grown phase, and there may be other requirements. In particular, light, the right 'soil' type, enough space for growing, being submerged in case of aquatic plants, neighboring water etc. The effect varies with plants - e.g. in case of wheat, carrots, beetroot and potatoes, it causes them to progress one or more stages of growth towards maturity. Kelp, the two vine types from the Nether and Bamboo grow taller. For tree saplings, there's a random chance it will progress through one of two stages of growth, the first is visually indistinguishable from 'newly planted', the second is fully grown. Similar rules apply to crimson and warped fungi. Bonemealing grass and nylium blocks sprouts 'natural vegetation' (tall grass, flowers) in the bonemealed block and several neighboring blocks. Bonemealing tall flowers makes them drop another flower of the same type as an item. Pumpkin and melon stems can be bonemealed to maturity but after that the chance of sprouting a melon or pumpkin is random. There's a number of plants that don't react to bonemeal - sugarcane, cactus, vines (regular swamp type), Chorus - in their case you must defer to natural growth (which applies to all plants) - random ticks. Random ticks occur within 128 blocks horizontally from the player, so plants will not grow without a player in the general vicinity; without getting into deep technical details, occasionally blocks (including plants) receive a random event that acts similarly to applying bonemeal - attempt to grow (with a certain chance), progress a stage of growth etc. Usually the conditions for successful growth are at least, if not more strict than in case of bonemealing. Bonemeal can be obtained by crafting it from skeleton bones, uncrafting bone blocks (plentiful in soulsand valley), composting various plants, foods and plant matter in a composter, and as a random drop from fish. Addressing the problem of 'plants disappearing' - there is a number of ways by which plants can be broken or destroyed. Rabbits steal carrots. Foxes pick up sweet berries. Most crops, grown on farmland, will pop off if the farmland is trampled into dirt, or light level drops sufficiently (night sky is okay, cave darkness requires lighting). Sheep will eat tall grass, endermen steal pumpkins and melons, and all kinds of mobs will trample farmland. Watch out for these problems.

If you download the newest launcher you can just pick which version of minecraft you want. So, it's no big deal, just choose the version you want, and it will download upon launching. However, if it was a special jar with mods added to it, like Young Guilo said, check your Recycling Bin. If its not there your gonna have to install those mods into the jar again.
