What if you don't hit Sans at the end of the fight?

Before anybody says I could try it myself, I played it but can't get Sans to tire out so I can't try out this question myself because his fight is too hard for me.

What if, when Sans is tired for his "special attack", you choose the hit button but then instead of hitting him, you let the bar slide across the entire thing causing it to miss? I couldn't find any videos or pictures of this, so is it possible to do that or would you hit him anyway? If you can miss him intentionally then what happens after?

I was able to finally beat Sans, and learned that it is impossible to miss if you push the box down to the "fight" button and hit him, it doesn't make the normal hit bar appear and it just automatically hits, so once you get to that point that's litterally the end. There is no way to miss.

TL:DR; I beat Sans (albeit after 50 tries), and tried it myself. It automatically hits him so the fight ends there. You can't miss or continue.

Go into the game settings (open settings and the game data menu - undertale) and reset the data. Resetting the data will reset your run logs, which would let you run another, "clean" run.

Is possible to change the endings as many times as you want as long as you select YES when you get asked to rewind: After that, don't start the Mother Claudia quest otherwise you need to do this whole process from the start. Before continuing, you need to complete some requirements: ArFa-Sys, Kureha, Zeliska, Itsuki, Bazalt Joe 3rd Date Level 4 affinity with 75% Itsuki should give you a gun (awards the "Gift of a Gun" achievement) Kirito, Azuna, Liz, Silica, Sinon, Leafa, Klein, Agil, Premiere, Strea, Rain, Philia Level 2 affinity Crafting Quests: Asuna, Agil, Liz Completion Once you complete the requirements, go to your house and an event should trigger with your ArFa-Sys. It should give you a charm that is required later. You can continue the story mode as normal. Once you log out and log back in with the NerveGear, the quest should be named "Fatal Bullet" rather than "The End of All". Instead of fighting the boss as normal, hit him in the green part of the chest to prevent him from attacking. If you manage to avoid all of the attacks, Itsuki is going to reveal itself as the antagonist and another boss is going to appear. Do the same as the first one. After you finish the quest, you should get the normal "Quest Complete!" message and a scene where You and your complete squad bait a group of PKs Once this scene is completed, you should get the achievement called "A True Hero".

List of Dead-Ends Death of a character Annie tells Zak that if any of them dies they will be unable to succeed. Not only each one can do stuff the other can't, but also cooperation is crucial, especially in the end. The only characters "allowed" to die are Melissa and Leslie, and only after Zak has acquired the White Crystal. Losing the bread crumbs You get bread crumbs when you shred the bread in your sink, but if you turn on the faucet right after, they will be washed away, and when you take the pipe they won't show up. Without them you won't be able to lure the bird and consequently get the scroll. Burning away the nests in the Seattle cave If both nests burn away before you have the time to draw the ankh and open the alien door to the Blue Crystal, the cave will fall again in darkness and Zak won't be able to draw the symbol, even by using the lighter. The game can't progress without the Blue Crystal. Running out of money Money is necessary to buy some crucial items and more importantly, move between locations. If you backtrack to the beginning of the Ruins again after already talking to Asriel, he will not be there. However, you will get a nice picture of the Golden Flowers, which (presumably) includes Asriel/Flowey again.

There's no definitive in-game/canonical evidence as to which brother is older. It's obvious that they both care about each other, however the Wiki entries for Sans and Papyrus just list them as 'brothers', and everything in-game pointing one of them being the older sibling is circumstantial at best - most likely played this way so as to leave it up to the player's own interpretation/head-canon. Some parts of the story points to Sans being younger: Papyrus encourages & cajoles Sans for his laziness: IT'S BEEN EIGHT DAYS AND YOU STILL HAVEN'T... RECALIBRATED. YOUR. PUZZLES! ... YOU GET LAZIER AND LAZIER EVERY DAY!!! - Papyrus Sans admires his brother my brother's a real star.... Who encouraged him to take a job as a sentry: ...he's the person who pushed me to get this sentry job. - Sans Other pieces of the story point to Sans being older: Sans has a 'real' job & takes care of his brother/pays the bills Sans reads Papyrus bedtime stories and gives him presents Sans cares for and admires his brother. It's not cheating as such; the game preserves it's random seed on re-load. Reloading a turn and repeating the same actions in order will produce the same results. This is because the game saves the seed it's using for the random number generator precisely to prevent this kind of constant reloading. Jake Solomon, the creative lead for XCOM was quoted in this article: We use synchronous random in combat so the player can’t just reload when they miss a shot. Now, obviously there are ways around this, but this is a decent way of ensuring that the player’s choices do matter. You can "game" this, if you like, by taking different actions and changing up your order. Assuming you are shooting at the cyber disc, try [something to miss], sniper, [something to miss], [heavy or assault to hit]. Bear in mind that the actually aim-scores will impact here. It's possible someone less skilled, or with an inaccurate weapon, would be unable to hit in actions 2 and 4. Likewise, your sniper could hit in actions 3 and 5, because he's got the most accurate weapon. And yes, if you do different things on these actions (aim at different targets), you may not get hits where you expect it. The sniper using action 2 might hit the Cyber Disk but miss the Muton in full cover you decide to aim at instead. According to this article at PcGamesN, the X-com expansion will include an option to reset the random seed on loading!

There are two different types of critical hits: Critical melee hits, and critical arrows. Melee crits These occur when the player strikes a mob while moving downwards. Jumping and being stuck in a cobweb count, but moving down a ladder or sinking in water do not. Additionally, you can't do critical hits while blinded. A critical hit has a sparkle effect, and sometimes does more damage than a regular one. The damage bonus is random, and varies between purely visual (i.e. +0) to +50% damage (rounded down), plus half a heart. For example, a normal hit with the Diamond Sword does 7 damage (3.5 hearts), while a critical hit does between 7 and 11 (3.5 - 5.5 hearts). Critical arrows The critical hit effect on an arrow indicates that it was charged fully; the damage bonus for those works the same as for melee critical strikes.

Note: You need to have finished a Neutral route at least once to do the following. While doing a run that is not a Genocide one, you will get to the Corridor where Sans is giving you his judgment near the end of the game. Before talking to him, save at the beginning of the corridor. Then talk to him, and reload the game (do not save, just reload the game before talking to him). Then talk to him again. Repeat this action (talking, reloading without saving) three times, and he'll give you the key to his room. You'll then be able to open his room.

If you're just looking for things built into the game: The nextlevel command will change to the specified map at the end of the current round. Meaning that it will cut the current map short. Setting the mp_endmatch_votenextmap cvar to 1 will cause a vote to pop up at the end of the current map, but it uses the maps specified in your gamemodes_server.txt for the current game mode to populate that vote list. In other words, you can't specify the map directly.

I'm assuming that you want to do a pacifist run after completing your neutral run. you can't befriend papyrus or undyne if you killed them, you have to reset your save and do a full pacifist run from the beginning, and it means that you can't kill any monster or boss, just spare them, and then you can befriend them. EDIT: the true lab is a part of the pacifist run that you go to after sparing every monster and tiring asgore until he shows the mercy button then talk to flowey. if you killed any monster in your current run reset your save. to just go to the true lab after beating asgore yo need the following prerequisites: spared every monster and boss spared asgore and talked to flowey (if you did a pacifist run, flowey will tell you to hang out with your friends) if you killed any monster reset your save and begin a pacifist run to go to the true lab you need to close the game after beating Flowey and then start it again and press continue in your save, you will find yourself at the save before asgore's fight, don't fight him, Go back until you get to the path between the core and MTT-hotel. I'd recommend waiting on the side of the bridge opposite where the avatars and enemies spawn. I think that charging in is suicide, you're just asking to get flanked. Send someone with high movement forward to trigger the avatars and waves of enemies, then run them back. There should be enough cover on your side of the bridge to just set up overwatch and destroy anything that pops into view. I'd recommend using mind control from your Avatar on any organic enemies, use these for scouting and early damage. I brought along 2 psi soldiers which made things quite easy as I just dominated an Archon and a Andromedon. Calling in Blazing Pylons every other turn as well as being able to launch acid is very useful against groups of enemies, and with this setup I had 9 soldiers able to overwatch and fire every turn, which made short work of any enemies. As another tip, try not to use any consumables before getting to this portion of the mission. The squad I used on commander to win without injury was: 2 psi operatives 2 grenadiers 1 rapid fire ranger 1 gunslinger sniper Another fun idea: I believe you can dominate a gatekeeper and use it's "raise zombie army" ability, which would make that last mission quite fun.

The biggest thing is to check that your weapons are a reasonable level compared to enemies. Lower level weapons might have been fine in normal, but as you said TVHM is more challenging. Make sure you are using the different elemental weapons properly. In normal mode for example fire deals 150% damage to flesh (red health) but only 75% damage to shields (blue) or armor (yellow). In TVHM these are increased further to 175% for flesh and 40% for shields and armor. As for other damage types, shock weapons deal bonus damage to shield, and corrosive will deal bonus damage to armor. On top of that, using slag on a target makes them take double damage from all non-slag damage types. An easy way to farm some weapons and EXP would be to repeat the Warrior fight on normal mode. Since you've completed the DLC's you can also do tier 3 fights at the campaign of carnage.
