Why did I find underground Clay?

I was mining for iron when I found clay, not exposed to water, at Y=16. How could this happen? I’ve never seen it until now. I was mining under a roofed forest near an ocean.

After 1.18 update:

Clay can generate in Lush Caves biomes in the form of blobs. Clay attempts to generate in blobs of size 0-160, at any height.

So it's definitely possibile you found it at Y=16, and you problably are near a Lush Cave.

The answer by @pinckerman provided a lower bound to the distance that can be covered using elytra, and it led me to do some more research and eventually I landed on https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Transportation . From the Wiki: Elytra: Conditions: Gliding at 0° pitch Average Speed: 30 m/s Using this information, I was able to calculate an approximation of how far you could travel with elytra enchanted with Unbreaking 3 and came up with 51,720 blocks. Using additional data from the same Wiki article, you could travel 57,754 blocks using continuous rocket boosts. If you were extremely lucky and it was raining for the entire trip, then you could travel 215,500 blocks using a trident with Riptide III enchantment.

I made a spreadsheet on this (for speedrunning purposes). The sock locations are randomized with every run, but the spreadsheet contains all the sock location I know of (56 total, or 28 unique pairs). However, the game randomly picks 10 pairs from these, so you only need to find 20 total socks in any one run. Here's the link link.

I've worked it out. Using a behaviour pack and .mcfunction files along with the tick.json file I can run a command on every tick. The command I then run is execute @a ~ ~ ~ detect ~ 127 ~ bedrock 0 fill ~-8 127 ~-8 ~8 0 ~8 air This removes the 16 x 128 x 16 area around a player *only when a bedrock block is found at y coordinate 128 at the player's position. As bedrock is only generated on the ceiling of the Nether and players cannot place bedrock this will only remove newly generated chunks. It could be expanded to include the 8 other zones around the player to remove a bigger area (N, S, E, W, NE, SE, SW, NW).

It is sitting on the arch of a building just northeast of the base camp where Jacob gives you your first optional mission. The Arch faces east and runs north-south, its white with a red star in the middle. The crow is sitting right above the star. If you approach it carefully you can shoot the crow before he takes off, miss and youll have to track him down. Here is a video for your viewing pleasure. The bird will stay in the zone, so you don't have to enlarge your search any further than the map says within the zone in which the quest was given.

Endrega Workers drop Endrega Embryo's (as well as Endrega hearts, Venom extract and Chitin scales). Endrega workers can normally be found travelling in small groups (6+) in and around caves and abandoned structures in Velen and Skellige.

The strategy can largely be borrowed from the strategy used to get shulkers into the overworld. Get one of the two groups into boats and transport them. I would suggest putting the magma cubes into the boats to make them defenseless against the frogs.

You're confusing two different games here: "ComputerCraft" is a modification for "Minecraft Java edition", while "Education edition" is a variant of (and partially included in) Minecraft Bedrock edition/Pocket edition/Windows 10 edition/… (it has many names, very confusing). MCJava and MCPE are two different games, sharing no code and nothing of either is compatible with the other (mods, resource packs, world saves, …). I haven't heart about "ComputerCraftEdu" before, but there are only really two possibilities: It's a variant of ComputerCraft for education purposes, but still for Minecraft Java edition, then its scripting is probably similar or identical to the normal ComputerCraft mod and only the GUI is different. It's a complete remake of the mod for Bedrock edition (I don't know if MCPE mods even exist), then it might have similar scripting, it might not. If you can't find documentation for it, I recommend using the regular ComputerCraft for MCJava. I heard that the scripting it pretty straightforward and easy to learn. ComputerCraftEdu is definitely not the same thing as "Minecraft Education edition", ComputerCraft is a third party modification while Education edition is an official Mojang product. Also, whenever a website is not available or working anymore, I always recommend checking https://web.archive.org. If you are connected to the server, you might be able to find out more about it by looking at what commands are available. On bukkit, spigot or similar servers (paper, etc.) you might be able to try the command /version, if it hasn't been restricted for whatever reason.

I tried in a survival world, and he quite instantly pointed me and hit me so hard... no matter the boats. I'm wondering, are you sure the Warden is afraid of Silverfish? Because the only post stating that is actually from https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/4461994950157-warden-is-afraid-of-silverfish : When a Silverfish gets too close to the Warden, he gets afraid of the Silverfish, and then he lets out a cry of fear and runs quickly away. In these process, the Warden do not attack the player, for a short time. The Warden can feel the silverfish in infested stones, and avoids going near them. ..which is a suggestion and not a real feature. As far as I know, because he killed every other Silverfish around without batting an eyelash. And me, by the way.

Try checking if the console is overheated or you are too low on space. Many uninstall a few other games for a while and check if that works.

I, personally would recommend using multiple structure blocks, (acquired with /give @s structure_block 1 0) and then set the size at maximum and place them strategically inside of, and around your structure. As long as you are in creative mode, you can press your "Use button" (usually right click or LT/L2) on the structure blocks, to see a preview of the blocks to clone. After saving it, you may move to a separate location and arrange the structure blocks in the same orientations, and load the saved schematics in the correct order. ALTERNATE METHOD You could also run /clone {first coord} {second coord} {coords to move to} If you do not want to use Structure blocks. The /clone command does not work over super long distances.

You can play without the internet, as long as you are willing to lose some of your data for the day. It will prevent you from buying something from the marketplace, but it works.

If I remember correctly, Esbern is slow in walking. Head over to Delphine and wait a day or two in-game to see what happens. If Esbern is still missing, try to fast-travel somewhere else and then back to Riverwood. Sometimes, you can just go into a building and he'll automagically teleport to you. He might also still be wandering around Riften or the roads between Riften and Riverwood. If you are on PC and Esbern is still missing (he's annoying), force him along with the console: prid 00019DFD moveto player If you are on console, you're going to have to revert to a known working save. With Skyrim, always remember to save early and often.

Similar to my answer here, talking about Monster Hide, you can dismantle materials such as Wyvern Hide into Monster Carapace. According to other sources, you can also purchase it at high level armorsmiths, though I have not seen that. You can convert these items into monster carapace: Basilisk Hide Forktail Hide Wyvern Hide

There is a set of very usefull maps made by ShatterNL. check out this one: You can see all the locations including the bunkers. But be sure to check for map updates every month as the developers do sometimes change some things.
