My Silent Hill 4: The Room crashes after I enter the first portal back to the apartment. I am using the "Widescreen fix." When I met Cynthia, she went to the restroom, and then I killed the 2 dogs. When I entered the restrooms, there is that "portal - giant hole" but when I decided to go back to apartment via that hole my game crashes every time.

I found out it only crashes when you want to enter the restrooms when you didn't explore the whole area to the end of train station. In my opinion it is probably a bug or "unhandled exception" in the code of the game.

You can't get one if you are using bedrock, and mods from java (where you probably got the mod from) wouldn't be compatible anyway.

I'm not sure if there is actually something you can do about it rather than the usual uninstall/reinstall suggestion that most of the times is not working... Sounds like a game issue rather than an Xbox issue but i would suggest to download Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox and submit a bug report just right after the crash. If you do that it will collect logs and submit them to help the Xbox team get valuable information to resolve the issue. After installing the Xbox Insider Hub you can report the issue by holding the home button on the controller and selecting Report Issue.

I know this is a tedious solution, but there's a selector @s that is designed to target the executing player, not the nearest player. Because of this, we could bind the two commands using a function: Create a datapack, for this example, I'll use mydatapack as the name. Inside the datapack create one function that runs your two commands, but slightly modified. Instead of using execute as, just write: tp @s 98 67 101 180 0 tellraw @a {"text":"","color":"green","bold":true,"extra":[{"selector":"@s"},{"text":" has teleported to the overworld!"}]} Next, do the same for the nether one. I'll call these functions tpInNether for the example above, and tpInOverworld for the pressure plate to be put in the overworld. On your pressure plate command block, paste execute as @p in minecraft:overworld run function tpInNether, do the same for the overworld pressure plate

I am afraid that your laser is almost dead. My PS3 has been doing precisely the same - a few seconds of spinning disc and then stopping. Sometimes a couple of times, but with no result. Rarely was the disc read correctly. I suggest you take your console to some service, but it will probably end with laser replacement.

I fixed this issue ultimately by configuring my Sound output device and changing the default format of sound output quality in shared mode. To do this in Windows 7, I went through the following windows: Control Panel > Sound > (right-click on sound output device(e.g. speakers), properties > Advanced Here, I changed the Default Format to 24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality). After changing this and clicking Apply, Skyrim worked fine on the next startup. According to hyper_gateway, you don't have to set the sound quality that low; for example, 24 bits, 96000hz will still work.

Ice Bullets can destroy lava meteors, the flamethrower damages ice rocks more than just normal lasers. Gravity Guns are epic, because you can suck in the enemies and meteors. But seriously, I recommend you using the gravity Gun with any enemy. I hope I answered your question!

The markers on the map indicate where you should be looking. One is at the east end of Finney St: in the trunk of the police car (the arrow on the map). One is at the end of Ellroy St: in a mailbox (the circle on the map). One is between Finney and Matheson: on the basketball court down the alley (this alleyway is the long line on the map).

If I've counted correctly, this is a walkthrough of room 4 (and beyond): It appears to be a couple of those "speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out" puzzles. This means you'll need to use your falling momentum to shoot you out of a wall, over a jump. Also notice that, in this video, the player crouches as they are flying through the air, presumably to make Chell more compact and therefore more likely to make the jumps.

I'm experiencing the same issue and still need to check the MultiMC solution (I'm on an Intel-based Mac); I'll update this post when I have tested it. BTW, this is a bug which is being tracked at the https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCL-19830 Update: The MultiMC solution works (for me) Details/remarks: It works from scratch, I had uninstalled the crashing official launcher before installing MultiMC so no old Minecraft files were on my system I run an Intel based Macbook Air 2018 with OSX 12.1 MultiMC may be blocked by OSX security settings; if this happens you can still allow it to run via Preferences > Security & Privacy > General Before running MultiMC you need to install Java version 17. The current, most recent version from https://java.com , version 18, does not work. Check the MultiMC FAQ for a solution, I ended up using the OpenJDK17 version from Microsoft ( https://github.com/MultiMC/Launcher/wiki/Using-the-right-Java ) When this is done, MultiMC should autodetect the Java version and you can install Minecraft via 'Add Instance' I chose the most recent version 1.18.1; this then downloads all required files from Mojang You also need to enter the details of you Mojang- or Microsoft-account (see also the (MultiMC FAQ) Start Minecraft by doubleclicking the icon in MultiMC Good luck!

I already had this kind of problem, and I had to clear the cache of Google play store. https://www.gadgetsnow.com/how-to/unable-to-download-an-app-from-google-play-store-heres-how-to-fix-it/articleshow/69002909.cms The TLDR: Go into the Google App Store App settings (the app itself, not minecraft's) and Clear Cache and Data. You will have to sign back into the gmail account related with your games. If that doesn't work, I would say go get the APK on a site and install it manually. Its less secure but it will bypass any problems the App Store may be stuck with.

You have to get your UUIDMost and UUIDLeast. To get those, use a website like http://mapmaking.fr/uuid/ or any other website that can show your UUID with UUIDMost and UUIDLeast. For example if you search me up (EpicProKillerFTW), you would see 3 things. UUID: 4d05a07a36ad4bc4854217220ba9a219 UUIDMost: 5550018562567785412 UUIDLeast: -8844481283210239463 Once you get those, you can get your fox to be trusted by you and your friend using the Data Merge command: /data merge entity { TrustedUUIDs:[ { L: L, M: L }, { L: L, M: L }] } What the Data Merge command should look like: /data merge entity 06de3220-88ae-4cf8-9f40-55135415a6b7 {TrustedUUIDs:[{L: -8844481283210239463L, M: 5550018562567785412L}, {L: -6334564698302257369L, M: -8038687027037716246L}]} Alternatively, you can use the Summon command: /summon fox ~ ~ ~ { TrustedUUIDs:[ { L: L, M: L }, { L: L, M: L }] } What the Summon command should look like: /summon fox ~ ~ ~ {TrustedUUIDs:[{L: -8844481283210239463L, M: 5550018562567785412L}, {L: -6334564698302257369L, M: -8038687027037716246L}]} Do note that you need to have the L at the end of the UUID. The story, controls, or core gameplay mechanics have remained the same, however there have been various changes in other areas Silent Hill 2 New voice acting, with the choice to use the original voices (comparison video). A lot of the fog has been removed which has resulted in negative feedback from the original director of the first three games (source) and reveals unfinished areas (source Without that fog, one can see where parts of the game world have not been finished and were left to end in nothingness. This is especially notable during moments near Toluca Lake, where the water can be seen abruptly ending, as if it flowed off the edge of the world. The boat sequence toward the end of the game looks absolutely horrific, not just for the previously stated reason but also for the lack of water texture as well as the guiding light in the distance that now looks like a star drawn in a child's cartoon. Ranch sign font has been changed to Comic Sans (source Silent Hill 3 New voice acting, with no option for the original voices (comparison video). Both Games The PS3 version experiences occasional slowdown (source). Sound issues on Xbox 360 (source Nevertheless, sound issues permeate both games. In Silent Hill 2, the audio randomly skips in outdoors environments, and both games struggle to keep the sound consistent whenever a character uses a bladed weapon -- the Great Knife in Silent Hill 2 and the katana in Silent Hill 3. While the Great Knife is only useful for one boss fight, the katana is an all-but-essential part of Silent Hill 3's melee arsenal, and to have audio cutting out almost every time it hits something is unbelievable. In both games, there's a bizarre crackling that randomly occurs on the save screen, sound loops during sections where it shouldn't be (ruining one of my favorite jump scares in Silent Hill 2), and unlocking achievements has the nasty side effect of crippling the frame rate of cutscenes to the point where I've had to skip them. Lip movement desync with new voice acting (source One horrible side effect of the added audio is that the new actors struggle to match the lip movements of the characters, and as such, vocals sometimes end up horribly out of sync with the visuals. Finally, here is a video comparison of both games. The graphics in the HD collection seem a little more polished, but I personally don't see a huge difference.

End gateways are generated with the terrain. And generated structures only appear once (would be pretty bad otherwise if you removed a tree, built your base there and when you came back, the tree overwrote it). So you'll have to create the gateways back yourself: /setblock -982 58 -694 end_gateway{ExactTeleport:0,ExitPortal:{X:-77,Y:75,Z:-56}}

When you connect to the Steam page, your browser/Steam client checks the SSL certificate that is provided by the Steam page. Steam's certificate is provded by DigiCert who is a trusted certificate authority and does not seem to have any problems with their certificates at the time of writing this answer. If you did not change anything in your computer regarding certificates it should be trusted. That means the problem is in your computer configuration. Now a common problem which could cause problems in certificate validation is the certification expiration check. When your computer validates a certificate it will compare it's expiration date with your computer time. As a first step, please check If your computer time and date is correct. Sometimes even a few minute error with the actual time could cause certificate validation problem. (I'm starting with this approach because I did notice that a few months ago https://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/396658/will-setting-your-time-to-april-1st-bring-back-april-fools-features-on-minecraft regarding changing your computer date for a Minecraft April fools event)

No, you need both disks to play the game. The first disk installs the game and the second disk allows you to launch it and play. You could try purchasing the missing disk off eBay, or get another copy of the game with both disks in it.
