How to change user agent sent by firefox?

I'd like to change user agent in firefox runnig on android, but there is no add-on for this, and no about:config. What can I do?

You could install an older version of firefox from before the removal of "about:config". I've gone for "firefox nightly", which also has it.

This isn't a "configuration". When the phone shuts off due to low battery, the battery is completely discharged. The shutting down isn't a configuration, it's due to the battery voltage dropping too low. The fact that the battery percentage displayed is above zero is just an artefact of the way the lifetime of the battery is estimated. The displayed percentage when the battery is discharged will gradually increase over the lifetime of the battery. So if your aim is just to discharge the battery, you've already succeeded. Try not to do this too often, as full charge-discharge cycles reduce the lifespan of the battery.

I'm not really sure if you mean the Main System Language or the Keyboard Language!, if you want to add languages for keyboard then follow this steps, Just connect to wifi or turn on 3g then go to, Setting > Language and Input > Samsung Keyboard > Languages, Now it'll ask you if you want to list all available languages, Click Yes and choose the language you want and let it download.

First enable USB debugging. You could use adb and use the command root or su shell and copy the build.prop file to /storage/sdcard/0/ or /storage/exsdcard with the copy /system/build.prop /storage/sdcard/0/ command (path of your (ex)SD Card storage vary from device to device). In this file the DNS server IP is saved. Find it and change it to the OpenDNS IP. Now copy it back to your /system/ folder with copy /storage/sdcard/0/build.prop /system/. Restart your phone and it should work.

Have you tried downloading a new language? Go to Swype's settings in Language and input (or keyboard settings). Then, go to Languages > Download languages. You should see Francais (AZERTY).

I do not want to install any add-on on Firefox unless it is opensource or is widely known to be trustworthy. You're in luck today. Install NoScript Security Suite addon by Giorgio Maone. It is a GNU GPL 2.0 licensed addon. Has more than a decade of history of development, support and trust. It is a "Recommended" extension from Mozilla. It is also bundled with Tor Browser. As per Firefox Help, meaning of Recommended extension is: Recommended extensions are editorially curated extensions that meet the highest standards of security, functionality, and user experience. Firefox staff, along with community participation, selects each extension and manually reviews them for security and policy compliance before they receive Recommended status. Your desired usage of web browser is in contrast to what NoScript offers. As such you need to configure this addon. As I see it, you want all of your websites to work "with javascript enabled", except a few where you need "javascript disabled". To achieve that, install that addon in your Firefox for Android. Open NoScript page (three-dots line in Firefox status bar -> Addons -> NoScript) Click on the icon (with a small wrench) next to green colored Reload icon. Below in that page, in "General", under "Default" tick/check all items. This is needed so that websites don't break for you, because this is desirable in your question. Load the website in your browser where you want javascript disabled. Open Noscript page again. To the website names/entries listed there, press CUSTOM and uncheck/untick script This would disable javascript for the entry/domain you selected. If you have many websites where you don't want to repeat this procedure, go into Noscript settings, under "Per-site Permissions", add your domains and configure "CUSTOM" settings there. This is a one-time only effort, but should work for long.

There are two types of pinning - public key pinning (PKP) and PKP over HTTP (HPKP). PKP is alive and well; browsers can be tested with the badssl pinning test, as Benoit E notes in a comment on another answer. HPKP was planned to be removed in Chrome 65, then in 67 and actually deprecated in v 69. It no longer exists in Chrome 72 and shows as removed, just as you found also. TLS 1 and 1.1 are also deprecated in v72. Firefox has a debate about it here. Opera version 25 to 53 support Public Key Pinning.

A colleague actually helped. As it turns out, the web-driver at the launch creates a new profile for firefox, whether it is or not. He can also be given the profile as a parameter. To that end, a firefox profile folder that created a web-driver and was placed in /tmp (in my case, it's called, for example, rust_mozprofile.mIg1OpBGYQSPCopy that in the right place, find a file in it. prefs.js, edit it in the right manner and indicate this profile folder in the creation of a webdriver. Yes, it is possible. But, based on my testing, it's not likely. What are these files? During my tests, I was able to locate binary files in my Firefox profile directory at this path: /storage/temporary/https+++mega.nz/asmjs/ This suggests that the files contained therein are temporary files for asm.js. Information about these files is sparse, but this tweet from a self-reported Unity employee provides some substantiation (because Unity worked with Mozilla on game development with asm.js). On my system, these names of these files followed the template module. While investigating the contents of these files, I was unable to find any likely passwords, even after registering for an account inside the add-on. Where did these strings come from? The strings you pulled from those files are certainly suspicious. I have been unable to recover anything similar on my own system, but there is another explanation. The add-on includes Dropbox's zxcvbn library for calculating password strength. It is possible that asm.js attempted to optimize that code, resulting in password-like information being stored to your hard drive. Using only words found in zxcvbn's dictionary, I was able to reconstruct some of the potential passwords you listed: monoethanolamine: mono + ethanol + a + mine monoethylamine: mono + ethyl + a + mine The other passwords were likely generated using other rules (such as character substitution). What can we conclude? The files you found are most likely temporary files generated by Firefox. Specifically, when asm.js tries to optimize the zxcvbn code, it likely generates the temporary file containing some of the strings you found. However, it could also be the case that the extension is using the zxcbvn wordlist to perform bruteforce attacks. A more extensive review of the code is needed to determine if that is the case.

The private key is need by Firefox for client authentication, i.e. when the client demonstrates to the server ownership of a certificate. By definition, this requires knowledge of the private key on the client side. This does not happen often, because most Web servers authenticate clients with passwords, not with certificates. Of course, Firefox has no need of the private key corresponding to a server certificate, and in practice won't have access to that private key. Generally speaking, the less a private key travel, the happier we are. However, when it becomes necessary, for some reason, to transport a private key and its accompanying certificate, then we prefer to do it with some extra security to maintain confidentiality; this often uses the PKCS#12 format, also known as "PFX" or ".p12". Such a file is an archive which can contain just about anything, but in particular certificates and private keys, and (that's the point) it includes password-based encryption: parts of the archive contents (e.g. the private key) can be encrypted with a key derived from the password chosen to lock the archive.

As eldarerathis noted in his comment, this will require root. But you don't need to manually edit the vold.fstab file for this, as there are some nice little helpers available: Root External 2 Internal SD can swap your cards (i.e. exchange their mount points): Root External 2 Internal SD (Source: Google Play) Note that this app requires Android 4.0 or higher.

Chrome handles web content of tabs (including javascript execution) within sandboxed processes. This means that even if Chrome's javascript engine has an exploitable bug such as a buffer overflow or memory corruption vulnerability which can be used by an attacker to get remote code execution, then the attacker's code still can't get access to the user's filesystem without another exploit against a second bug in the sandbox system itself. Firefox doesn't use a process sandbox like this, so a single vulnerability in its javascript engine for example is all that's needed for an attacker to get access to your filesystem, etc. Firefox uses a single process for most of everything currently, which means that it can't make effective use of process sandboxing. There is ongoing work on this as part of the e10s project.
