Unable to join online games of Among Us due to Parental Controls that were never set up?

I want to join online games of Among Us on my Xbox. When I try to join, I get a message saying that I cannot do this owing to Parental Controls.

I have never set up Parental Controls on my Xbox, and there are no 'Family' settings pertaining to me.

How can I enable myself to play Among Us with others online?

This assumes that you have never set up any Parental Controls.
1. Quit Among Us.
2. Open 'Settings'
3. Open 'Privacy and Online Settings'
4. Default privacy and safety settings are in place for adults, teens, and children, but you can customize them. In this case, the setting was already set to 'Custom'. Change this to the default setting for 'Adults'.
5. Start Among Us and join an online game.

Possible solutions: 1) Just like GamerM said if you are afraid you got hacked please reset your password and enable 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) so it does not happen gain. 2) Check your network, double check NAT is open, try rebooting your modem and router. If that does not help: 1) You can go ahead and delete your profile of your xbox one and redownload it: Go to Settings, and then select System. Select Storage. Select All Devices. Select Gamer Profiles. Select the gamertag that you want to delete. Select Delete. Select one of the following: Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements 2) Clear your Xbox One Cache: Turn off your Xbox One. Once the indicator lights on the front of the Xbox One and the console's power brick are off, unplug the power brick from the back of your console. Wait at least 30 seconds. Plug the power brick back into your Xbox One and turn it on. 3) Recover your Xbox profile: Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller). Yes. The description in the eShop on the console says this: This software includes features that support online play. A Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) is required for online play...Visit www.nintendo.com/switch-online for more information. To make sure that this notice isn’t put on every game with online content no matter if it is free to play online or not, I checked Fortnite’s page and it didn’t have the notice. (I cut out irrelevant legal stuff from the quote).

It depends on what you mean by "default settings". If you completely reset your PS3 and clear the system then all of your accounts and saved data will be purged from the hard drive including any "game shared" data. For what it's worth though, game sharing is a terms of service violation and risks having your PS3 banned from accessing the PlayStation Network.

First things first, there are, yes you correctly summarized, three things that matter and that are separate. Your Microsoft account which you used with your mail (dad@example.com) and which bought the Live subscription. This account can administer the family and be used to access all the neat features of a Microsoft account. These features include OneDrive, Office 365 (if bought), Outlook Calendars, and many more. One of the benefits is also... Your Gamertag. This is an alias you use across all Microsoft platforms, in the Xbox Live "universe" to track your game progress (saves are stored in the cloud on the Xbox One), your gamerscore, friends, purchase history, etc. Your Fortnite name which is tied to Fortnite and has nothing to do with your Xbox. What you want to do is, on your Xbox One, log in your son's profiles. Here is how. this will enable your sons to go online and, since they are part of your family, have access to your Live subscription. As for the Fortnite account, have you linked your Fortnite account to your gamertag? If so, you can unlock them and link your Fortnite account to a new gamertag. Progress on Fortnite (in game) is tied to your Fortnite account, not your gamertag. You gamertag only holds the related achievements.

According to Reddit and a few other places, this may be due to the clan having 10 pending join requests, and thus you cannot join until at least one gets cleared. The 10 request join limit seems to have been put in place to prevent spamming of players trying to join a clan.

Do you have auto sign-in turned on? From the Xbox One dashboard, go to the left to open the sidebar Scroll down to "Settings" Choose "All Settings" Choose "Account" Choose "Sign-in, Security, and Passkey" Set "Instant Sign in" to use your XB1 profile That said, I actually get this error a lot if I just woke the XB1 up with the Xbox App before trying to stream. If I give it 15-20 seconds and retry the streaming, it usually works.

As mentioned by Ben as a comment to my question, I checked if I could manually install the DLC. In "Games & Apps" on the Xbox One there was no DLC in the category "Ready to install". However, when I opened the store and visited the page of the DLC I received a prompt to install the DLC. I installed it and the Golem in the Duke's Archive dropped the pendant. The problem came up because of the following situation: I could buy Dark Souls 1 (360 version) via the Xbox One store. However, when trying to buy the DLC it told me to buy it via Xbox.com or the 360 store on the 360 console. Buying it through Xbox.com resulted in my Xbox not automatically downloading and installing the DLC. Usually, when I buy a game from the website, my Xbox One automatically installs it. Very useful feature when I buy games at work and come home to see them already downloaded and installed. However, this seems not to work for downloadable content of 360 games that are available in the backwards compatibility program.

There are some differences between Witcher 2 and 3 in this regard, so I cover them separatly. Witcher 2 You can find some savegames here. Just choose the one you want and import it. I dont know about another way to carry over the choices to Witcher 2. Witcher 3 You can find some savegames from Witcher 2 here. However, you get the opportunity to simulate some choices from Witcher 2 in the Prolog of Witcher 3. Also you might as well consider just playing Witcher 2 yourself. It doesn't take that much time to play throught. Fun fact: You can actually finish the game in ~4 hours. If you play normally you need around 40 hours. Some more googling might find you some savegames, I just linked the first I found here.

Most games that are demos have the word demo in their title. For instance, Dead Rising 3 has a demo titled "Dead Rising 3 Demo" in the store and it will be titled that way as well in your My Games and Apps section. LEGO Jurassic World has a demo that is also titled LEGO Jurassic World Demo. In the case of Dead Rising 3's demo, the cover art for the app tile also says "Demo" on it in the artwork. There is no fast way to really tell if a game is a demo. If you want, you can press the start button on a game tile, select "Go to game hub" and read the description which sometimes states if it is a demo, but not always. You can also get a good idea if it is a demo or not by seeing how big the game is. The LEGO game mentioned is around 14.6Gb while the demo was only 1.6Gb. Dead Rising 3's demo was around 7Gb while the actual game is around 26.9Gb. This isn't the most accurate method however, as I believe some games you can download the whole game as a demo and unlock the full game without having to download it.

No, the online passes you are referring to have been discontinued in 2013 and the existing online passes were made available for free on the Playstation Store. Sony doesn't seem to have plans to re-introduce them, as the software product development head for Sony Worldwide Studios America Scott Rohde said before the console release in 2013: "It's just like it always was, is the easiest way to say it. Better, in fact, because online pass, in the future we're going away from that." You will, however, need a Playstation Plus subscription to play online with the PS4, but there are no restrictions for used games.

If the operation is the same as on PC your characters are saved online. It's necessary to launch the game (and the game session) on the account who hosted for the first time the game, otherwise you will spawn in the first mission of the game (with your character).

This appears to a some sort of bug in the game. The Survivor and Wanderer crates have dissappeared from players inventories. This article states: The Survivor and Wanderer crates disappeared from PUBG Xbox players' inventories after PUBG 1.0 went live. "We have investigated reports of Survivor and Wanderer Crates disappearing from the inventory. The Item IDs of these crates were changed with the 1.0 launch, which caused this issue to occur for players who purchased these crates pre-1.0 The article quotes this information from an official Reddit Post made by PUBG. According to that post, they intend to deploy a fix for this sometime within the week.
