How to clean the place on the hard drive for Linux Mint.

  • I'm gonna put Linux Mint on one of the hard drive sections. Before that, she only used it for virtualbox. I've made it out, it's 80 grams of free space. Issues:

    1. If I remove this logical section at all, I'll have a free space, i.e. when I plant the mine, I'll take this free place, and I'll have a new section of the disk, with a linux on board?
    2. Reading in the tutorials that you can squeeze the disk section. If I do what I said, I won't have to press anything?
    3. How do you do the rest of the hard drive after the linux is installed so that I can't record anything from the system at all but my own system?

    1. If you remove the logic disk, you'll have an undetected area. It will need to create and form an ext3 FS linux. If I'm not wrong about this, the system's installer might be.

    2. Compression of the disk section is the conversion of a part of its free space into an invisible area from which a separate one can be given or added to another disc (which is close to)

    3. If the disks are not installed, they won't be seen.
