How to change the name of the distributive in anaconde

  • I have a job to create a distributive based on Scientific Linux. I've already included my bags, I've packed linux and boutscreen, but when the GRUB loader is installed and installed, the old name remains.

    How do you change the name of the OS in the installer?

  • Based on the contents of the files /usr/sbin/new-kernel-pkg (from package) grubby) and /etc/grub.d/10_linux (from package) grub2-tools) for distributives scientific linux Version 7.2, information (primarily) from file /etc/os-release

    I see this file is at least in the package. sl-release and (for version 7.2) has the following content:

    NAME="Scientific Linux"
    VERSION="7.2 (Nitrogen)"
    ID="rhel"
    ID_LIKE="fedora"
    VERSION_ID="7.2"
    PRETTY_NAME="Scientific Linux 7.2 (Nitrogen)"
    ANSI_COLOR="0;31"
    CPE_NAME="cpe:/o:scientificlinux:scientificlinux:7.2:GA"
    HOME_URL="http://www.scientificlinux.org//"
    BUG_REPORT_URL="mailto:scientific-linux-devel@listserv.fnal.gov"

    REDHAT_BUGZILLA_PRODUCT="Scientific Linux 7"
    REDHAT_BUGZILLA_PRODUCT_VERSION=7.2
    REDHAT_SUPPORT_PRODUCT="Scientific Linux"
    REDHAT_SUPPORT_PRODUCT_VERSION="7.2"

    Here's the package, perhaps you should retrieve the information you need.
