Render 3D model in Unity 5 2D game

We need a 3D-model as a 2D-igre. The problem is, I don't even want to draw a question, the more than 3D models I think are better in my capacity. There are such files as:
- *.obj
- *.mtl
- *.smd (With the statues about this, is it possible to use a skeleton animation in Unity?)
- *.png (textures themselves)
When the model was imported as an asset, nothing was done, but:
Too big.
The textures didn't put in any way. I've made them.
- Well, I don't really know how to make anaemia from smd.
I'd like to say that I'm a newcomer in the gheimdew, I'm trying to figure out what it is, but I'm dealing with the apps. Thank you for your help.
