How right to update mysql 5.6 to 5.7 freebsd 10.2

There was mysql 5.7 in ports. The promise of a substantial increase in productivity will be renewed. How's that right with 5.6? In mysql's Manuail, you're going to update the old version of the new version. If we set 5.7 out of the ports, will they rewrite it?
