SSL certificate from godaddy doesn't work on sub-dose
-
Hey, everybody. I bought a SSL security certificate for the dominance of example.com, and he works with a good example.com, there's no problem with it, but when I try to use it for the sub-domen of the forum.example.com browser says he's invalid.
Brauser writes the following when trying to open the site: the certificate is valid only for the following names: example.com, www.example.com
Type of Standard SSL certificate http://prntscr.com/9dbuk4
It says here. https://uk.godaddy.com/web-security/ssl-certificate It's strange that Standard SSL should work with substitutions.
The simple question is why, how do you fix it? Thank you.

Should I?
We buy Wildcard SSL's certificate for this kind of stuff, he works for everyone. If my memory doesn't change, the normal certificate doesn't work with the sub-domen. Sometimes, when a certificate is purchased, it is possible to hit 2-3 subtitles, which should also be subject to the certificate.
If you've already bought a certificate for one dome, and nothing else has been added, I don't think it's gonna be a subdomen.
