Xcode 7 SKTexture error: Error loading image



  • There's a piece of the C.I.E.P. with 14 paintings of icon, Xcode 7 emulsions are going great, no mistakes, no pictures of how to get on the screen.

    But when I start Ipad mini iOS 8.4.1., there's a mistake in the console. SKTexture: Error loading image resource: "picture_name" 2 images of the 14th facility, with red X images on the screen on the spot, all other objects are displayed correctly. Files .png - I checked everything.

    Maybe someone's been confronted with a similar one and will tell you?



  • Several options:

    • The simulator ignores the rigid and capital letters and finds any names. Make sure the names of the files in the project match real.

    • Make sure the images are connected to the current target.

    • Make sure the format of the files is maintained (as I recall, for .png, etc., no extension should be indicated)

    • And, of course, make sure the files are complete and open with the winds.
