Canvas doesn't work for Unity

I'm trying to create an element of Canvas, and it doesn't work, why? I'm just a newcomer, I've been dealing with these problems for the first time. I work on the 2020.3.21f1. What needs to be done to be able to add it. I've been through other versions, too.

The right button of mice in the hierarchy, where all the objects of the scene are, and you choose on the manifested list canvas. Are you sure you're doing the right thing?
