  • If you understand that you want to run a jupyter notebooks instance that you can use R, we strongly recommend using the "docker container" instead of a manual build in a Windows environment that is common to build environment.

    install docker for windows
    From Terminal

    docker run -p 8888:8888 jupyter/datascience-notebook
