How do I get in the vault in Warframe’s first repair mission?

I’m on the first mission in Warframe to repair comms, and I’m stuck on trying to get into this vault:

I’m out of energy at this point from playing around and fear that I’ll have to restart the mission. How do I get beyond this point?

The Warframe Wiki has a very nice explanation of what is needed to level mods. First the economical answer, the cost of fusing mods in credits are directly tied to the amount of benefit it can potential supply. So using the most optimal fusion of mods from a mod perspective will automaticly also be the best solution on a financial view. To level a mod you need to add a certain amount of energy to it, this energy comes from fusing other mods with the mod you wish to level. There are 3 factors when fusioning mods: Level Rarity Polarity/Type Level Energy required to level a mod is doubled each level and they start at level 0, except for Fusion Cores, and goes up to 10. Energy they can supply for fusion is base + ½ * level * base. So if at level 0 it supplies 2 energy, then at level 1 it will supply 3 energy, at level 2 it will supply 4 energy etc. The level is the number next to the rarity, no number is equal to level 0, or the number of white stripes on the left side. Rarity There are 3 types of rarity: Common Uncommon Rare common has a multiplier of 1, uncommon 2 and rare 3. Calculating Energy needed to level With these 2 factors we can calculate the amount of energy needed to get a mod to the next level, to make the math easier later when we get to Polarity/Type we make sure it is a multiplier of 4. E = 4 * R * 2^(L - 1) E is energy needed to level from precious level. R is the rarity (Common = 1, Uncommon = 2, Rare = 3). L is the level. This gives us the following chart: Level 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Common 4 8 16 32 64 128 256 512 1024 2048 Uncommon 8 16 32 64 128 256 512 1024 2048 4096 Rare 12 24 48 96 192 384 768 1536 3072 6144 Calculating Energy supplied by mod We can also calculate how much Energy a mod supply at different levels: E = 2 * R(2 + L) E is energy needed to level from precious level. R is the rarity (Common = 1, Uncommon = 2, Rare = 3). L is the level. This gives us the following chart: Level 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Common 4 6 8 10 12 14 16 18 20 22 24 Uncommon 8 12 16 20 24 28 32 36 40 44 48 Rare 12 18 24 30 36 42 48 54 60 66 72 With these 2 charts you should be able to calculate how many mods are needed to upgrade a mod, but there is the 3rd factor. Polarity/Type Polarity/Type Is divided into 3 groups when fusing: Same mod (duplicates) Mod with same polarity or Fusion Core Mod with different polarity Two of the same mods give 100% of its energy. So fusing 2 level 0 common mods of the same kind it will transfer 4 energy from one mod to the other, resulting in it gaining g enough energy to reach level 1. If you then want to get it to level 2 you will require 8 more energy which is equal to 2 more of the same mod Mods that have same polarity or Fusion cores give 50% of their energy. Looking at the chart we can see that a level 5 uncommon Fusion Core supplies 28 energy. It will get a 50% penalty to energy supplied to it will add 14 energy to any core. So when fusing it with a level 0 common core it will gain 2 levels (4+8 energy needed) and have 2/16 of the next level done. Mods with different polarity gives 25% of their energy. Having a rare level 0 mod that will provide 12 energy and fusing it to a common level 0 with different polarity will give it 3 energy, so it will be 75% of the way to level 1. So the most efficient way of leveling mods is to use duplicates, once you get spare mods (don't need any more/higher level of a mod) you can use same polarity and fusion cores to level other mods. My personal recommendation is not to use use spare mods/fusion cores to level common mods. Most of them drop relative often and you will be better suited waiting for some duplicates to drop and using spare mods/fusion cores on rare mods where you won't be seeing as many duplicates.

That would be very bad, if it would be working. It is of course not working. The game is linked with you account and it is not possible to change that. The ID was earlier your in game name. With your name you will be identified from the servers. The name is not changeable in an easy way. The only way is to contact the support (but they wont change it). Now it is working with a unique ID (v1.7.6). Means you are able to change your name but not your ID. This version provides complete support for identifying players through unique IDs and not by names, so that no matter what a player is called they will remain banned/whitelisted/oped/etc on servers. from mojang The reason why you cannot change your ID is because server owner have a problem to identify you. Means if you are banned from a server, you should be banned and not have a chance to join. Answer for your edited question: The functionality on a server is basically the same as on a local game. You actually can not have more "games", but you can have more worlds! On a Server it is exactly the same (if the owner has build it like so). If the server owner has nothing edited and just has a bunch of different maps, you have a "new game/status" on every map. There is nothing limited. Anyway the chance that there is a server that is build up like that is very low, because everyone wants to keep his items and build just one house and that on just one map. If there are more than one map it is likely a mini game map, pvp, skyland or whatever. There is no possibility (legal and playable on all "online" servers) in any way to get a new status/"game" on a server by changing anything at your client or on your account. The only way is to ask the server owner to delete your user data from the server.

Yea you can. As long as you have a pro group going every1 can afk as long as every1 stays in earshot of their computers. The lotus always warns you they are coming so just listen for that. I usually just alt tab and read something with my headphones on. Wait 4 mins rinse repeat.

Well, having more people in the game doesn't actually increase your chances. However, having more marked players in your session does help. 1 mark gives your a 2.5% chance of spawn and every person marked after that adds .5%. Also the Grustrag / harvetser / stalker only spawn between 30-240 seconds so keep your missions short.

In general, imho might heroes require more of an actual army to win battles. You might try not using all your troops. either use tactics or give the troops to your other hero. With a smaller army on the field you can use abilities like intimidate & earth regeneration to very shield them. Hard to picture your battle without more details on your skill choices & details on your enemy. If you cannot beat the minor generals you may have chosen your skills poorly or not claimed enough stat boosts during his campaign. =/

You do not need every single XBL achievement in order to get 100% completion in Red Dead Redemption. You need to do the following: Complete all 57 story missions Purchase all 5 rare weapons Do the 3 Nightwatch jobs and 2 Horsebreaking jobs at least once Unlock all 9 Outfits Purchase all 13 player houses Complete all 7 gang hideouts Complete 20 bounties, doesn't matter if you kill or capture. You need 8 in New Austin, 8 in Mexico, and 4 in West Elizabeth. Win at all 6 minigames at least once Discover all 94 map locations Complete all ranks of Survivalist, Treasure Hunter, Master Hunter, and Sharpshooter challenges (rank I and II) Complete 18 Stranger missions (though the I Know You one doesn't count towards this, as it is potentially missable) If you're signed up on Rockstar's Social Club website, it keeps track of what you've completed, which I've found to be a great help. It's kind of slow in keeping synched though, but it's awesome for reference.

Besides gaining and upgrading mods (most notably Serration or its equivalent for your primary) and crafting better weapons (though Boltor isn't that bad) to increase damage output until the encounter becomes trivial and raising your own survivability... You might want to summon the shadows before he spawns, (though I recall he could dispel abilities, haven't fought him for a long time), since he sends three messages before appearing. Once he does spawn, jump around like a monkey and spray him with bullets, with some luck you'll wear him down before he one-shots you. Another tactic would be to have ridiculously high combo counter and hitting him with a charged melee strike... Which might require enough progress that the encounter itself would be trivial by that time. As a side note: at very early stages running in panic and hoping that the teammates you happen to be with will kill him before he downs you is the preferred method, but since you mentioned solo strategy explicitly, I'll leave it as a side note.

First of all - most money (80%) you earn go into your "offshore account". Disregarding that, there are a few things that will reduce your spending cash: Buying assets during the pre-planning phase Buying guns, attachments, masks, etc Spending skill points (Newer players often don't realise that this costs money as well as skill points) Accidentally (or otherwise) killing civilians incurs a fee that is taken directly from you spending cash Side note: Completing one "day" of a mission and failing the next will not net you any cash. If you didn't do any of the above, I can't say for sure what's going on. I'd recommend taking screenshots of your spending cash before and after a mission, as well as during the "Payday" screen, where money gets handed out. This way you can clearly see the difference and show or prove it when searching for help.

When you load the save or reload a checkpoint, you will be inside the laboratory, facing the door to Dr. West's office, go inside the office and open the small fridge opposite the door and take the antidote. After that you will need to interact with the radio on the table to go to prison (don't pass go).

There is no limit on how many frames or weapons you can have, but you will have to spend plat to get more room or sell old frames and weapons. You can also have multiple of the same, but you only get Mastery Rank xp the first time you level a frame or weapon. Having multiple of the same weapon will not give you more Mastery Rank xp. Currently there are 16 frames (14 normal and 2 prime) and about 89 weapons in game. If you level them all you will reach rank 12 and be 6000 points in to the rank. So in other words to reach rank 12 you either need all weapons and 15 frames or all frames and miss out on 2 weapons. There are currently 4 weapons that are no longer available in game so you need to own 2 of those weapons to reach rank 12. The weapons you can no longer get are Lato Vandal, Braton Vandal, Snipetron Vandal and Snipetron.

In GTA V your first occuance in the game's introduction is a prologue(backstory) to two of the characters(Michael & Trevor). Then continues onto Franklin's introduction(Stealing and driving cars). After completing these, free roam is available. You must complete up to Franklin in order to have a current save game, for those only wanting multiplayer, you cannot start multiplayer until you have a save(prologue completed) where after that you can go straight into multiplayer after 5 seconds into the prologue.
