The Clone Bay regenerates your crew's health every time you jump. Does "waiting" at the Last Stand count as a jump?

Yes, waiting counts as a jump and will heal your crew.

The Explosive Replicator affects your missile weapons only - 50% of the time that you fire a missile weapon, your missile count will not go down. There are obvious benefits to this if you're running a ship with a lot of missile weapons, because it greatly reduces the amount of ammunition you need to keep stockpiled. However, if you are out of missiles, you still won't be able to use those weapons - you don't get a 50% chance to 'run on empty'. Also, as per the FTL Wiki: Multi-shot weapons (Swarm and the Pegasus Missiles) have the same 50 percent chance of not using a missile in their volley. This is because one missile is used when firing these weapons, even though there are multiple attacks from them. Your enemies are not directly affected by this augmentation, although they'll be unhappy about the indirect effect of you throwing missiles with greater aplomb.

You can use tags for this. Tag the player and add tag=!someTag to your selector to stop the command from executing. The setup should look like this: (Repeating command block) /tellraw @a[tag=!someTag,scores={hp2=1},gamemode=survival] {"text":"","color":"red","extra":[{"selector":"@p"},{"text":"'s life is in danger!"}]} (Chain command block) /tag @a[tag=!someTag,scores={hp2=1},gamemode=survival] add someTag (Chain command block) /tag @a[tag=someTag,scores={hp2=2..}] remove someTag Not sure why you are using 1..1 as that can only be 1. I changed the values so the text is displayed if hp2 is 1 and the tag will be removed when hp2 is 2 or more.

It's safe to leave the clone bay unpowered. If it can save a crew member after an event, it will. The cloning effect from events behaves like any blue event- it only checks the presence or absence of a system. Whether it is powered/damaged/on fire is irrelevant.

While a system scanner might indicate to you whether or not a ship is present in system, there's no reliable way to avoid enemies equipped with missiles without avoiding enemies entirely. Some are just going to have them. Automated ships (with AI rather than crew) tend to be the biggest offenders (and, annoyingly, also can't be captured intact, making them good candidates for fleeing if you don't feel you can kill them quickly). About the best thing you can do (since you ruled anti-missile drones out) is to just be sure to target their weapon systems first thing off and keep pounding them so they stay down. That's just good advice in general, regardless of the enemy's weapons, but critical when dealing with enemies who fire missiles. It's probably even worth one or two of your own missiles when targeting these systems to make sure you get them down ASAP. If even that is causing you trouble (as per your "I can't hit them fast enough to shut them down" comment), you're kind of screwed. I mean, some missiles are just going to get through and you have to deal with it. At that point, the best you can do is get good at recognizing which enemies are going to be more trouble than it's worth to kill, and flee them early. Honestly, though, early game you really shouldn't have to flee much, at least in the Kestrel. Just make sure you save your missiles for the heavy hitters instead of wasting them on ships that can't do much to you anyway.

There is a developer who has answered that med-bay upgrades do not affect the Engi med-bot dispersal healing speed: source. I also measured the effect with a fully upgraded and fully powered med-bay. Before any upgrades, it took 10 seconds for a crew member to hit 50% health in front of an open airlock. After all upgrades and med-bay fully powered, it took 10 seconds for a crew member to hit 50% health in front of an open airlock. Engi Med-Bot Dispersal is not affected by MedBay upgrades.

FTL save data on Windows Vista and above is located at C:\Users\{your user name}\Documents\my games\fasterthanlight. To move your save files you need to transfer the fasterthanlight folder to your new PC in your documents\my games directory.

Yes, you can play all your games at both houses. There are different things to keep in mind, depending on whether you own a physical copy of the game (a disk) or a digital one. Physical copy Simply carry the disk with you and put it in the PS4 you want to play with. You'll need to remember to bring the game with you, but you won't need an account for that. Using the same account on both consoles is still recommended for various reasons (see below). Digital copy On both PS4s, you will need to log in to the same account on which you bought the game. You will also need to download the game to both PS4s. Both To play online, you will need an active PS Plus subscription on both consoles. If the subscription is tied to your account, you only need one such subscription. If both your parents have their own subscription tied to their own account, you won't need a subscription as long as you're playing on their PS4 system. Besides that, you'll probably want to keep the same progress on both consoles. For that, you will need to log in to the same account on both consoles. You can either copy the save game to a USB key and carry it along with you, or you can use the Cloud Save feature provided by PS Plus. While the PS4 can automatically sync save games with the cloud, for some reason it only does so once a day (in my case it happens sometime between 3 and 5 AM). Depending on when the automatic sync happens and when you move between houses, you might want to remember uploading the save games manually before leaving, and downloading them manually before playing the game.

Paarthurnax is marked as plot-essential until a certain point in the game. If you have not reached that point, you won't be able to kill him... he'll just fall to his knees (or do the dragon equivalent thereof) and then regenerate. You can disable him, or remove his essential flag, via the console on the PC. This will let you kill him, but it will probably also break subsequent quest progression. A better option is to wait until the appropriate point in the story (basically after you capture and interrogate Odahviing), and kill him then.

I can't remember where exactly it was said (I follow a lot of gaming news sites...) but in an interview with the Director, The Multiplayer works like this: Single Player Monsters have less health (as it always has been) Firing off an SOS does not increase monster health until someone joins, same with regular session joining. Once someone joins your quest, you will see a notification saying something along the lines of "increasing difficulty due to player joining" The Monster Health difference between 2 players and 4 players isn't much, so full parties are far more optimal than duo teams. Again... I'll try and find the interview where this was all said.

Removes the job that they're working on. Doesn't always work, and I haven't quite experimented with why, but it seems to be that if the dwarf is actively doing something (As in, if they're hauling the object is in their hands, or if they're in a shop and actively working, etc) you can't remove it.. but if they're on their way to do something, it immediately shifts them to No Job, and they look again for jobs to do. There are a couple different ways to resolve a slaver encounter which will result in new crew members: Friendly Slaver Buy a slave. Receive 1 random crew member. Using a level 2+ Teleporter. Outcomes 1: Receive 1 random crew member and fight the slavers. Outcomes 2: Receive 1 random crew member and fight the slavers. Outcomes 3: No crew member up front, but fight the slavers. Fight the slaver scum. See below. Pirate Slaver Fight the slaver scum. See below. If you have level 6+ Engines, you can attempt to outrun the slavers. If this fails, you will fight the salvers. Fighting the slavers: The outcome of the fight can lead to a new crew member even if you got one through the teleporter dialogue option. Slavers surrender. Receive 1 random crew member. Kill the slaver crew. Outcome 1: Receive 1 random crew member. Outcome 2: Receive your choice of a Rock, Mantis, or Engi crew member. Outcome 3: No crew member. Destroy the ship. No crew members. All in all, crew members you receive are of a random race, but there is an option to get your choice of Rock, Mantis, or Engi if you do things correctly.

The obvious difference is, of course, that only the melee fighter takes damage, so it would make sense to put the healthiest crew member (usually a rock man) into melee. With a little micro, you can swap out the melee fighter when he gets low. Other than that, there is no indication that there is a difference except graphics.

You have one false assumption in your question: what you observed was not two quests, but rather only one. In other words, the quest was "Capture Point X, while defending point Y from Capture". The quest lasts until one team manages to capture the other, which means, in your case, the 'defend' portion of the quest lasts until your team manages to capture the enemy point in question, rather than a simpler, "defend for X". You could theoretically have to defend that point for the rest of the game, as long as neither of the two target points changes hands.
