How can you merge two worlds in Minecraft?

I want to download two Minecraft maps, and then put them together. Side by side, as in the builds. Like, specifically, a city, and a couple of districts or neighborhoods. How do I do it in the sense that its merged?

You could copy one region with MCEdit and paste it in the other world. https://www.mcedit.net/

If you download the newest launcher you can just pick which version of minecraft you want. So, it's no big deal, just choose the version you want, and it will download upon launching. However, if it was a special jar with mods added to it, like Young Guilo said, check your Recycling Bin. If its not there your gonna have to install those mods into the jar again.

The only way you can find coordinates in Minecraft PE is to do the command, /tp ~ ~ ~ in the chat box it will report Teleported PlayerName to x y z. Y is the vertical level. No, villager trading has not been implemented as of version 1.0.0.

This is probably a bug i hasn't happened to everyone because it didn't happen to me when i updated try restarting the computer and also make sure your on the same account if that doesn't work then try to report this issue to mojang. I'm sorry I can't think of anything better to do just hope that mojang sees this issue bug fixes it and you get your world back.

/clone can't take relative coordinates of two entities. You'll have to clone it first to a fixed location (maybe 0 0 0, just make sure it's definitely loaded) and then to the target location. Then you can delete it at 0 0 0 or just leave it there if that doesn't interfere with anything.

Changing your name on minecraft.net is not permanent, but it is locked for 30 days. Other than that, there may be custom servers that will work with a Vanilla client that allow name changes, but in completely vanilla Minecraft there is no other way to change your name.

Slimes spawn in specific chunks below layer 40. They can also spawn in swamp biomes between layers 50-70 in light levels of 7 or less. Like other hostile mobs, slimes will not spawn within 24 blocks (spherical) of any player, and will despawn over time if no player is within 32 blocks and instantly if no player is within 128 blocks. Like most other mobs, slimes require two vertical non-opaque blocks (e.g., air, signs, torches) to spawn in, with an opaque block underneath. The "ever since I built my new gaming computer" is cluing me to issues with your wifi adapter. Old adapters don't particularly have (good) drivers that work well in newer versions of Windows. Depending on the game you play, you could potentially experience the same issue as well. Minecraft is very sensitive to latency. Other games compensate by things like motion prediction and other things. Minecraft is just Java + UDP ...that's it. A test would be to ping /t minecraft.server.ip and connect to the server and attempt to play. If you see drops/spikes, then it's your adapter not able to keep up. However, it's also possible that pinging won't do much since it's a different protocol.

I had this issue too, but don't fear! With just a little bit of effort, you should be able to get rid of your first world. Assuming that you are running on a windows system, go to your start menu and type %appdata% into the search bar. This should bring up a bunch of folders. Go to the one named .minecraft. Inside the .minecraft folder, there should be a folder labeled saves. Go into this folder and you will find the folders for your worlds. Find the folder that has the name of your first world, then delete it by right clicking and pressing delete. Hope this helps! (If you are on Mac, then I really can't help with this problem)

To toggle off weather type in /gamerule doWeatherCycle false If you simply want to enable a particular weather cycle for a near infinite amount of time, you can use the command /weather type time, for example if you want to have clear weather for a year, you could use /weather clear 9999999999

I've released a CraftBukkit plugin called DropProtect which does almost exactly what you're looking for. It protects all Armor slots (Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots) as well as the 9 hotbar slots by default. It is configurable, so you can change the number of slots that are protected. If low latency is more important than space, you can go straight up in a mostly 1x2 space, with a small section of 2x3: If space is more important than low latency, you can replace the repeater with a vertical double NOT gate, which would lower the maximum space from 2x3 to 1x3:

You don't necessarily have to delete the default worlds. To change the world in which new players spawn by default, modify the value of the level-name property in server.properties to your desired world name. If you still want to delete the originally generated world, you can do so with /mv delete which completely removes the world folders from your server or /mv remove which unloads the world but keeps the world folder after you have changed the server properties. Keep in mind that it is often dangerous to directly delete files and folders.

Most likely, when you updated your world, the world generation changed. If your old world was in 1.6.4 or earlier, and you made a copy in 1.7.2 or later, it will generate a different world. From minecraft.gamepedia.com: Release 1.7.2 redid the world generation entirely, making seeds from 1.2 through 1.6.4 obsolete. If you want to find strongholds using the old world generation, I would recommmend using Amidst, and selecting the version you created the world with in the "Profile Selector". The coordinates of any strongholds shown should be correct.

This is going to require a bit more information. 1st - Make sure that both of you are signed in with a microsoft account on your devices. AND you are friends with each other. 2nd - Make sure to click the ‘edit’ (the pen icon) button before you open your world, select multiplayer and make sure all options are on. 3rd - Have your friend go to the ‘friends’ tab on their phone after a bit your world should appear, clicking/tapping this
