Is it possible to scale up windowed SpaceChem?

I like spacechem, and I like playing it windowed, but it's too small windowed, and I can't seem to find a way to scale it up (more pixels). Any tricks for this?

The maximum resolution appears to be 1024x768

For confirmation, navigate to the following directory on your computer:
```
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Zachtronics Industries\SpaceChem
```
Edit config.ini and change the windowWidth and windowHeight options.

This will adjust the size of the window, but unfortunately, the actual pixels of the game do not scale to fill the window.

(As a side note, the first splash screen that reads "A Game By Zachtronics Industries" does scale very nicely up to a very high resolution.)

I'm afraid there's no real science behind this. Each bonder has a priority number likely based on the internal data structure (array, linked list, whatever). The game just processes this list in a first through last order. So the bonding order in game is just how the bonders happen to be arranged. I would be nice if they were labeled, but as far as I know there's no way to get their priority in game. So with two bonders linked, it just goes through the list sequentially. For example, with 4 bonders the list of checked links would look something like this: (1, 2) (1, 3) (1, 4) (2, 3) (2, 4) (3, 4) Which is simply an ordered list of the pairs of priority numbers. With that knowledge, you just need to know which bonder has which priority. Though experimentation I've found that: For 4 bonders in a fresh level the bonder priority numbers are: 1 - 2 | . | 4 - 3 For a fresh level with 8 bonders the bonder priority numbers are: 1 - 2 | . | 4 - 3 | . | 5 - 6 | . | 8 - 7

I've just tested the linked solution in my copy of spacechem and both found your problem and its solution. The solution works in the current (steam) version but requires that the individual bonders be placed in the correct order, see this question for more details about this hidden feature. Unfortunately there is no way to determine the correct order of the bonders other than switching them around until the solution works.

On research levels where inputs execute instantly (it's not waiting for the pipeline, etc), you can usually eliminate all SYNC instructions by just making the path length for the blue and red Waldos equal. One instance where you can't do this is if you perform a single rotation (or generally an odd imbalance of rotations), as the path length for a circuit will always be even, and rotations add one cycle. If you just want your blue Waldo to just run opposite the red, you could just move the start much earlier in the circuit, for instance like in this puzzle (final one on the first planet) Eliminating SYNC instructions can be much more difficult when you have reactors that run much faster than the input can keep up however. If you can tolerate some imbalance in input times and the reactants come at a roughly predictable ratio, you can sometimes avoid it by just spacing them out.

You could do that with cheats - either with console command AttributeScore player or there are CheatEngine tables that allow you to do that without loosing Steam achievements. Custom enchanting will allow you to increase whichever stat you need with your favourite equipment options. Drugs can do a temporary increase to get through the conversations you want. That said I know of no permanent way within the game to increase it, neither by level-up nor quest reward.

From the Minecraft Wiki: It is important to note that each individual team member can only be on one team; teams cannot share entities. So the answer to your question is No, but however, if a player is already on a team and you try to assign it to another team, it overwrites the player's previous team. Meaning, if there are some players on teamA and you run /scoreboard teams join teamB @r, the random selection could pick a team member already on team A, and move them to team B. You can fix this by making sure that the random selection selects players not on a team, like this: /scoreboard teams join teamB @r[team=] (team= selects entities that are not on any team.)

A 64-bit operating system won't be able to run a 16-bit program unless you run the program through an emulator or a virtual machine. For more info, see these Super User posts: Why 64 bit OS can't run a 16-bit application? How do I get 16-bit programs to work on a 64-bit Windows? This question on Arqade: How to get old 16-bit Windows games to work on 64-bit Windows?, is similar to yours, but the solutions in the answers won't help since you can't run Windows XP mode in Windows 7 Home Basic / Premium. A solution, from this post in Super User: Use an emulator like DOSBox for 16-bit DOS games... Since NBA Live 98 doesn't seem to be a DOS game, you might want to try the emulator, Win3mu. Win3mu is a Windows 3.0 emulator. It includes an 8086 CPU emulation that loads 16-bit Windows executables and maps API calls onto the modern 32 or 64-bit Windows API. The website for Win3mu only offers a source code download. An installable build for Win3mu can be downloaded from https://github.com/Mwyann/win3mu/releases. Another alternative is to use a Virtual Machine (VM). A VM will allow you to run a 32-bit OS within 64-bit Windows 7. A VM software you might want to try is VirtualBox, which you can use to run Windows 7 32-bit, Windows XP 32-bit, or an even older Windows OS within Windows 7 Home Basic / Premium. Other alternatives to VirtualBox (thanks to pixel for mentioning) are: VMWare Player and Windows Virtual PC (Windows 7 Home Basic / Premium are also supported host operating systems).

Unfortunately, there is no way to respec your character in Dark Souls 1. The respec via a Soul Vessel was a new feature added to Dark Souls 2.

The demo ends when you complete World 3 (as World 4 won't unlock). You have more than a hour left of gameplay; those levels aren't easy.

Since ViGEm supports emulation of a DualShock 4, I dug around frameworks which utilize ViGEm. As a result, I discovered two promising solutions: VDX is a mere demo application, but is still powerful enough to emulate a DualShock with an XInput controller (which translates to an XBOX 360 controller or an Xbox One controller). Although it says "it must be used with X360CE," you can safely disregard the X360CE part if you are already using an Xbox-compatible device. InputMapper has a more thorough control upon your input device and even maps from DualShock to DualShock, well, if you are behind a third-party dongle. They are on the driver-layer, which means they do not require a modification on the remote play app itself. Whether it affects you positively or negatively depends on your use. ※ Since this answer falls into a "tool recommendation" answer, I declare that I am not affiliated with either ViGEm or InputMapper.

From the Arma2 Startup Parameters page: Add "-window" to your command line/shortcut In arma2.cfg add the following lines: Render_W=2400; Render_H=1500; Resolution_W=1920; Resolution_H=1200; Resolution sets the interface size and Render sets the 3D rendering resolution.

Bonders are moved in the same way that instructions are moved after placement - usually this is by clicking on them, holding and dragging them across the field. (If you are somehow moving instructions in a different way, try that as well) Note that you cannot use a drag-box selection (as you can to pick up multiple instructions), these ignore reactor features such as bonders. If you can't move bonders in the same was as instructions (and maybe you can't move instructions either?), it sounds like you've hit a bug of some type. As William suggests in a comment, do you have anything unusual with respect to the set up of your input devices? And, have you tried moving the bonders (or different types of reactor features) on different levels in case it's a level specific problem?

Nothing extremely easy, but I know a few people have accomplished this by putting their save file into Dropbox, and then using a symlink in each computer's save folder that points to the one in Dropbox.
