What command do I use to show the arms of an armor stand?

I've been trying to make an armor stand's arms show so it can hold something. I'm trying to find out the command because I'm working on a battle scene with the battlers as armor stands, and to make it look as if they were actualy fighting, they would need arms.

The command you would use is /summon ArmorStand ~ ~1 ~ {ShowArms:1} This will give it arms at the location you use the command.

You can use the stat.damageDealt and stat.damageTaken objective-types to target players who have dealt and taken damage for multiplayer support. The following assumes you're using the latest version, being 1.9. Prerequisites: Objective to track damage dealt. /scoreboard objectives add Dealt stat.damageDealt Objective to track damage taken. /scoreboard objectives add Taken stat.damageTaken Item to provide the player. /give @p minecraft:diamond_sword 1 0 {display:{Name:"Poison sword"}} Clock commands: The following must be run in numerical order on a clock. Remove the label from players who were wielding the particular item in the event they are no longer holding it. /scoreboard players tag @a[tag=HoldingItem] remove HoldingItem Mark players who are wielding the desired item. Any tags that are not the root id, Damage, Count, and Slot will be placed within a single tag compound. /scoreboard players tag @a[tag=!HoldingItem] add HoldingItem {SelectedItem:{id:"minecraft:diamond_sword",tag:{display:{Name:"Poison sword"}}}} Cause players to are holding the sword and have dealt damage to inflict poison on the closest living player to them who has taken damage. According to the wiki A charged Creeper is created when lightning strikes within 3 - 4 blocks of a normal Creeper You will know it works when the creeper has a blue aura around it. Getting the creeper struck by lightning is the hard part. You will likely need lots of luck if you want to avoid finding a mod that will charge one for you. You can see this answer for odds If you want to use a mod, CommandBook can offer you Thor's hammer to call down lightning strikes with the thor command. It is also Bukkit compatible.

It’s pretty simple: /setblock ~ ~ ~ oak_sign{Text1:'{"text":"Your Text Here"}'} This creates a sign with "Your Text Here" on line 1. For other lines of the sign replace Text1 with Text2, Text3, or Text4. I recommend McStacker for even greater customization like colors or styles. It also supports other commands like /summon or /give.

You can use CommandStats to accomplish this: Prerequisites: Objective to track player inventories of items. /scoreboard objectives add ITEMS dummy Detection Commands: Run the following commands first, whenever you're testing for the items in the players inventory: /stats entity @a set AffectedItems @a[c=1] ITEMS /scoreboard players add @a ITEMS 0 Then run this command to write the amount of items into the players "AffectedItems" score (change to whatever item you want to test for): /execute @a ~ ~ ~ clear @a[c=1] minecraft:iron_ingot 0 0 Summary: The above setup will set the players' "ITEMS" score to the number of iron ingots in their inventory, without removing any items. You will then be able to detect players using that score. An ArmorStand is an entity, not a block. Use /summon to place it. To rotate it's leg use the /entitydata command. Here's a screenshot for what you want: The lowest Command Block has the following command: /summon ArmorStand X Y Z Instead of X, Y, Z put your desired coordinates. For an "upgraded" ArmorStand use this command: /summon ArmorStand ~ ~ ~ {Invulnerable:1b,NoBasePlate:1b,ShowArms:1b} This command will summon a invulnerable ArmorStand without a base plate, as seen below: The upper Command Blocks have these commands: /entitydata @e[type=ArmorStand] {Pose:{LeftLeg:[310f,0f,0f]}} /entitydata @e[type=ArmorStand] {Pose:{LeftLeg:[0f,0f,0f]}} It doesn't matter which one you put where, but I put the upper command into the left one. These commands will make the left leg of all ArmorStands go back and forth. If you want only eg. the closest ArmorStand to "kick", use @e[type=ArmorStand,c=1] instead of @e[type=ArmorStand]. For other Entity selectors, go to the wiki page. The repeaters are set to max delay, except the one diagonally to the Stone block, which is at minimum delay. You could set the clock (at the bottom of the screenshot) to a different delay, but the uppermost repeater should be set to the same delay as the clock repeaters. The thing under the Piston is a Comparator, and the Piston is sticky.

If you want to detect blocks, then /testforblocks is what you're looking for. /testfor is used to find entities, such as players, mobs or items. /testforblocks is used as follows: testforblocks [mode] from Minecraft Wiki: Arguments: x1 y1 z1 and x2 y2 z2: Specifies two opposing corners of the region to use as the pattern to test for (the "source region"). x1, z1, x2, and z2 must all be between -30,000,000 and 30,000,000 (inclusive, without the commas), and y1 and y2 must be between 0 and 255 (inclusive). May use tilde notation to specify coordinates relative to the command's position. The number of blocks in the source region must not exceed 524,288. x y z Specifies the lower northwestern corner (the corner with the most-negative values) of the region to be checked (the "destination region"). x and z must both be between -30,000,000 and 30,000,000 (inclusive, without the commas), and y must be between 0 and 255 (inclusive). May use tilde notation to specify coordinates relative to the command's position. Source and destination regions may overlap. mode (optional) Specifies how to match blocks. Must be one of: all — every block in the source and destination regions must match exactly. masked — air blocks in the source region will match any block in the destination region. If not specified, defaults to all. To use testforblocks, you will need an area on your map to compare against - this will need to be in a loaded chunk, so I would put it underground and out of sight somewhere.

Use the DisabledSlots tag. To make an armor stand that players cannot change, use the tag {DisabledSlots:2096896}. Note that the number 2096896 is the sum of the flag numbers. Refer to this post on Reddit that lists out the flag numbers for slots that can be disabled. To use multiple flags, use the sum of the desired flag numbers.

If your question was marked as a duplicate of this one, it means your NBT question is not solvable in Bedrock Edition. Unfortunately, there is no access to NBT tags from commands in Bedrock Edition (formerly Pocket Edition), so this is not possible. There are some workarounds for specific use cases: Giving one of the default potions from the Creative Inventory (no custom effects) Giving an item with properties (click link to see available/unavailable properties) Using an NBT editor to modify normally unavailable item properties Can be used to obtain enchantments that exceed their maximum enchantment level. Selector parameters consist of a unique key name and a value, separated by an equals sign, with each unique parameter separated by a comma. When you say "play offline", do you mean you simply play the solo game mode? Or do you mean that you play without a net connection. If you're playing without a connection to the internet, you won't be able to log in to your Minecraft account. Even if you've changed the skin associated with your account, when playing offline your skin will always be the default.
