I used console commands to have a lot of health, now I can't seem to reset it, I am almost invincible and it takes the fun out of the game please help

Since you used player.modav to cheat your health higher than normal, you can use the same command with a negative value to get it back down.

player.modav health -1000 will lower your max health by 1000, for example.

Health affects the speed of your attacks and the speed of completing dance moves. In order to slow the aging process you can buy mystical spices and herbs from the Mysterious Traveler in taverns. The game ends when you divide the plunder at age 50.

All master level spells - be it Dead Thrall, Flame Thrall, a destruction spell or anything - are casted with two hands, and so 'dual-casting' does not apply. All also have a significant charge time. This is irrelevant for conjuration master spells - as they are effectively permanent anyway (technically just a realllllllyyyy long time ) - but is important for the other schools. The lengthy cast time can often make them less effective than lower level spells and are generally only useful in certain scenarios due to their larger AoE or special effects. For base effects like pure damage, stun-lock, healing or illusion effects then dual-casted expert level spells are often more powerful.

Your health and random chance determine whether a finisher will be performed. Strangely, armor does not factor into the equation. If you do not wish to use mods that change the chance of a finisher move, your best bet is drinking potions, eating all the cheese or using a drain health weapon/spell when your health gets low. Killing it from a distance is also a good way to avoid a finisher. Boosting your max health is good to give you more time until you have to recover health.

From the elder scroll wiki : Whether she saw the murder of Grelod or not, Constance will remain in a state of panic from Grelod's death until Innocence Lost is completed by talking to Aventus Aretino. However, she will not acknowledge the Dragonborn as the murderer once this questline is completed.

I've been assured that the vanilla console simply has no documented way to clear the console. At this point, I'm considering absence of evidence proof that this is so. That being said, I learned of a mod that does have a "clear" command that does exactly that. More Informative Console for Skyrim SE. There is a lot you can do with that mod, but for me, all I have to do is type "clear" and I have what I wanted: a clear console without the clutter.

No, this kind of reset is only to give you something to do while you're waiting for your earth to finish. That said: When you finish the earth, you have the option to reset it to gain 5000 gold. You're basically done with the game at this point, but if you feel like pressing on or get a head start on any events, these 5000 might come in handy.

If he's already challenged you, he's at the Last Vigil, east of Shor's Stone in the Rift. If he hasn't challenged you, you can't find him. He has to find you, and he will only appear in a city. Try going to a hold capitol and spend some time wandering the streets. Perhaps avoid going on any rampages, since he seems to show up when you aren't busy with combat.

Both Dawnguard and Dragonborn have new map areas added. When you start dealing with named vampire NPCs, that's Dawnguard (although there are a couple named vampires in the main game, but no major plots). If you traveled to Solstheim, that's Dragonborn. The DLC quests are independent of the main quests so you can't accidentally mix them up. Hearthfire don't really have quests. It has extra custom houses which are significantly better than the vanilla ones. As for using them, you really should have all your DLCs activated at the start, before you create your character, since converting your save file at a later date can cause unforeseen issues. However, if you have already played for a bit with the vanilla game, it is still playable to convert later, since these official DLCs expect you to have an existing character. I also recommend looking for the unofficial patches as they resolve multiple issues not fixed by the official patches.

There is currently no known rate, and the exact rate will be unknown until the people who are currently working their way through the games code find it. Reset bags are fairly uncommon however, if you assume that there is an equal rate of obtaining a bag: 6*3 (stats bags) + 8 special bags = 26 bag types That's a 3.4% chance. Many parts of the Dawnguard questline outright require Serana as your follower, and several of those quests are able to add her as your follower, even though you already have one. The list of bugs associated with Serana is rather large. She's the single most complex NPC in the entire game, with an entire hidden quest (called DLC1NPCMentalModel)acting under the hood to control her behavior, her dialog, etc., independent of the stuff that goes on as part of the actual quests. It is incredibly likely that you have encountered a bug whereby the hidden quest got in an odd state, and didn't properly notice that she should have left after one of the forced-follower points. In that case, you may not even be able to get rid of her as a follower without resorting to console commands (and those only work if you're on the PC).

OK, so it seems like this is a problem with the shaders after a patch some time ago. After browsing several forums, it seems like the only solution (someone says it's permanent and someone says it's temporary) is to put the hood on a mannequin in a house, leave the house and restart you game. First off, you can tell how many you've done by looking around the Ragged Flagon; each quest adds a merchant to a stall. So if you count the merchants, aside from Tonilia, that should let you know the count. The quests are: Silver Lining (Markarth) - TGTQ01 Clear out Pinewatch of bandits and retrieve a mold. Endon will also become a fence. The Dainty Sload (Solitude) - TGTQ02 Plant drugs on a ship captain. Imitation Amnesty (Whiterun) - TGTQ03 Help remove records of a prisoner held in Dragonsreach before he's fingered for a murder in Solitude. Summerset Shadows (Windhelm) - TGTQ04 Exact revenge for a murder committed by an upstart thievery ring holed up in Uttering Hills Cave. Niranye becomes a fence and can now buy anything. If you have the PC version, you can check the status of those quest IDs above using something like GetStage TGTQ01.

When you are a mage (squishy) and a bear or sabercat gets the drop on you, it gets very hairy very fast. I've been playing an illusion focused mage lately (put all my points into magicka, currently level 35) with base health and here's what I've found that helps a lot: Early on, your best friend is the FUS shout. I don't go anywhere without having that equipped. Just the stagger alone can give you enough breathing room to back up and try something else. Try to get to the Greybeards early, and learn the RO part of the shout. As soon as you can get a little knockback, then it becomes much easier as you can start kicking things off of ledges to kill them faster. As an illusion mage, I like to keep the calm spell handy at all times. Getting the Animage perk early for bears and sabercats is helpful too. As soon as you see one, get that calm spell on them and then you can walk away without trouble. Ride around on horseback. If you don't want to fast travel or don't want to use the carriage system, getting a horse helps a lot with survivability as you can use them to run up difficult terrain. Later on, start investing into alteration for the armor spells. They are surprisingly effective at reducing damage. I have the 'invested magic' mod installed so I don't have to keep casting it, it becomes a maintained enchantment that lowers your max magicka cap instead. Up to you if you want to use it.
