What is the best way to defeat The Fury (non-lethal) in MGS3?

folks!

I am having a hard time trying do defeat The Fury non-lethally in Hard difficulty in MGS3. I followed some YouTube videos, however after the first shot with the Mosin Garant, he won't stop running ater me, since he has great audition and sight.

So, any advice?

Well, the best way is hiding in the red door at the opposite side from where you entered. If he burns there, run away and return when the flames have extinguished.

They're now labelled as "takedowns", so that's one problem solved. As you suspect, a takedown is when you either use the "takedown" action, or "kill" someone using non-lethal damage. That is, via stun or any weapon that states it does non-lethal damage in its description. Non-lethal weapon list: Unarmed Sleeptite Atomizer Electric Truncheon "The Help" "Jack the Nipper" Jolly Brolly preorder The "Nighty Night" The "Sledger" While the Electric Truncheon claims to do very light lethal damage, it's far more likely to stun someone unconscious before it kills. I don't know whether this is a discrepancy in its description (i.e. it actually does heavy non-lethal damage), nor whether it's possible to get a takedown with the heavier stun weapons before they kill. Unconscious people eventually wake up and walk away when you're not looking. This is simply flavour text for the fact that bodies despawn and NPC names are reused. There is no equivalent explanation as to how you can meet people you definitely killed before. Killing or performing a takedown again on the "same" NPC still increases the counter.

Most DVI to HDMI converters are one way. I haven't yet seen one that is two way, or HDMI to DVI. I did, however, find this adapter that claims to be HDMI to DVI

I don't think it's possible to connect an SXGA (1280x1024) monitor ratio to a PS3. In the PS3 manual under Video Output Settings it says the HDMI connector supports the following formats: NTSC: 1080p / 1080i / 720p / 480p PAL: 1080p / 1080i / 720p / 576p They are all widescreen formats with an aspect ratio of 16:9. Unfortunately your older computer screen with an aspect ratio of 5:4 cannot display that; unless it somehow supports picture scaling or adding black bars at top and bottom.

In my opinion, your PS3 is as good as dead. Even if you manage to get it working in the short term, it won't last much longer in the long term. I believe you have two options: If you don't need to recover anything from your current PS3 (ie. if you've been using the PSN+ cloud service to backup your saved games), contact Sony and send your PS3 in for repair. If you do need to recover data from your current PS3, you will need to have the PS3 repaired by a 3rd party service. Do not send it to Sony, as their policy is to format all received hard disks for privacy reasons. Sony may also send you a replacement, refurbished unit rather than return your original one, making your Backup Utility backup almost useless. If you do manage to get your current PS3 working, you might be able to try a third option: Buy a new PS3 and transfer your data over using the Data Transfer Utility. Do whatever you wish (repair/sell/etc) with your old PS3. Don't bother with the Backup Utility. This is really only useful when you are upgrading the hard disk and may restore very little or even no data when restored to a different PS3 unit, as was my recent experience. Best of luck.

As of right now (March 2016), you can have two Primary active PS3 systems and one Primary active PS4 system according to the PSN FAQ page. You can sign into additional devices and download your games to play while logged in, but as soon as you log out the games become unlicensed for play by other users. I'm not sure how that works with concurrency though... eg, can you play against your self between two systems? IDK. Note, even this page isn't always current but it's a good guide. For instance you can have three activations across PSP, Vita, and PS TV, not the two listed.

Technically, there are no class-based weapons in Dark Souls 3. Each weapon requires certain stats in order to use effectively, which can either be Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, or Faith. When you choose your class in the beginning, this sets your starting stats to what they would need to be in order play in the style. Pyromancers start off with higher Intelligence and Faith for Sorceries, Miracles, and Pyromancies Warriors start off with higher with Vitality and Strength to use heavy armor and weapons. Thieves start off with higher Luck for better drop rates etc... After you choose your class, you are free to tailor your stats as you see fit when you level up. So even if you began as a Pyromancer, you are able to increase your dexterity stat to whatever you want it to be to use any weapon you desire. However, Pyromancers starts off with fairly low dexterity. If the weapon requires too high of dexterity, you might want to increase your relative magic stats first

Do not go for the steal. Stay on the ground. Going for the block or the steal will ruin you. You best bet is to stay on your feet. The standard movement of the man on offense is to fade if he is backing in to a man. Also, the best way to stop a fadeaway is jumping. So don't jump until he fades, then go for the block.

I believe that the pictured controller is fake. There is a forum post on the PS community forums about this with a very long and detailed list of differences. From the pictures you have posted the rear section with the screw, label and reset button are what make me suspect that this controller is not genuine. The picture below is from the link above and is of a fake: This looks very similar to the one in your question, its hard to tell in you photo but one way to be certain is that there is no reset button, only a hole in the case. Here is a picture of a real controller for comparison: The second thing that makes me suspect that it is a fake is the manual, below is a picture of the fake manual on the right and real manual on the left: There are many other subtle differences to look out for that are not clear from your photographs, my advice is don't buy if you have any doubts.

Based on your skill choices and the way that you are dealing your damage you may not need as much Fury as you think. Personally, most of my damage output comes from Cleave and I seldomly am spending fury anyway. However, if you find that your Fury is frequently low there are ways to beef up the generation. There are several runestones that help fury re-generation. Your bread and butter Fury generation is obviously going to come from your Fury Generating skills. Fury Generating Abilities: Bash with Unleashed - Generates 7 extra fury per attack. Cleave with Reaping Swing - Generates 1 extra fury per enemy hit (max 7) Ground Stomp with Foot of the Mountain - Increase Fury gained to 43 fury per stomp. War Cry with Charge - Generates 51 fury when used. Furious Charge with Stamina - Gains additional 8 fury for every target hit while charging. Ancient Spear with Skirmish - Increase Fury gain to 38. Fury Spenders: Battle Rage with Into The Fray - Criticals generate 7 fury per hit. Seismic Slam with Strength from the Earth - Reduces the fury cost. (Could be helpful) Whirlwind with Eye of the Storm - Reduces the fury cost per second. Situational: Overpower with Momentum - Generates 7 fury per enemy hit. Earthquake with The Mountains Call - Reduces fury cost to 40. Passives: Weapons Master - gives 1 fury per hit with Mighty Weapons Animosity - Increases Fury generation by 10% and maximum Fury is increased by 20. Superstition - Whenever you take damage from a ranged or elemental attack you gain 3 Fury. No Escape - Killing an enemy with Weapon Throw generates 20 fury. Unforgiving - Generates 2 fury per seconds (no degeneration) (This one is awesome) You can also refer to this link for more skill stats. This website may also help you out.

You are immediately supposed to know you are not playing as Solid Snake. The game takes place in 1964; Metal Gear takes place in 1995 and stars Solid Snake, who looks the same age as (or younger than) Snake in MGS3. If you have played MGS1 / MGS2, you know Solid Snake is a clone of Big Boss. Well, here's a game where you play a character who looks exactly like Solid Snake, 30 years earlier, and has the codename "Snake". Who could that be? As someone paying attention to gaming news when MGS3 was being previewed, Kojima was coy during interviews, but "everyone" knew that this game starred Big Boss before it came out.

The original PS3 used a cable that looks similar to a PC power cord, like this one: The newer "slim" PS3's use a a different plug-in that looks like this: The two are not interchangeable. If you look at the back of your PS3, it will be obvious which one you need. And yes, the correct power cable is the only piece of hardware you need to power a PS3.

As far as I know all PS3 games are infact region free. The same cannot be said about Blu-Ray movies though. Source 1 Source 2 Source 3 and of course there's this question as pointed out by Colin. However most of these are only forum posts. If I get chance will have a good search for some concrete evidence from Sony. Happy gaming

There are too much bugs in tekkit to prevent this, and it would be nearly impossible to program a plugin which checks if someone exploits any single one of these many bugs. You could make a plugin which warns you if someone gets very much items in a very short period of time, but this would only prevent excessive buguse. Against the flyhack, you could use this mod, which should prevent flyhacking without disabling the fly ring.
