Nexus Mod Manager won't recognize Fallout New Vegas

I have trouble opening NMM for my New vegas game saying that it does not have the permission to write the game and I've been told that I should run as admin to open it, but :
1. Can someone please explain it to me how to do it ?
2. Also will this affect my Skyrim game as I've also have the game modded.

This is happening because you have New Vegas installed to a restricted location. (Program Files, maybe?)

To fix this, you'll just need to do exactly what it asked you to. Right-click your NMM shortcut on your desktop and select Run as administrator. To save yourself from having to do this all the time, right-click the shortcut, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, tick Run this program as an administrator, and then click OK.

I can't (yet) speak to Shishkebab nor That Gun, and in fact this is a speculative answer altogether. However, using the Vault, my hunch is that the following weapons will qualify: .357 magnum revolver Lucky .44 magnum revolver Mysterious magnum Hunting revolver Ranger Sequoia That Gun (confirmed) Anti-materiel rifle (Unconfirmed) Lever-action shotgun Dynamite Combat knife Chance's knife Hatchet Knife Switchblade If I had to guess, I'd think that the Shishkebob would not qualify, as it seems too long-bladed to be a knife. That Gun, on the other hand, I'm up in the air about -- seeing the artwork I could go either way on it. I will update this answer with The Truth ... Once enough details are known that said Truth can be fully ascertained. It may be a few weeks before the Vault is populated well-enough to do so. Among other things, it feels like at least one or two of the rifle types should qualify, but none of the artwork looks lever-action.

You should be able to use High Explosive missiles with Annabelle without issue... and you should certainly be able to use them with any other missile launcher as well.

Without a graphics adapter, your computer won't be able to display anything on the monitor, so gaming would be impossible. Luckily, modern PCs all have a graphics adapter. In your case, since the PC doesn't have a graphics card, the graphics adapter would be an IGP (Integrated Graphics Processor) which is built into the CPU. You can easily find out which IGP is included in your CPU (assuming you know what CPU is built in your PC, of course). From here on, all you need to do is compare the IGP with whatever GPU meets the game's requirements. For instance, here I compared a GeForce 6800 GT to an Intel HD 530 (included in the Intel i7 6700 series CPU). The HD 530 appears to be more than fast enough for New Vegas. Keep in mind that this is no guarantee the game will run. Some games may refuse to run on newer hardware even though they could. Luckily, both Steam and GoG offer refunds in case the game doesn't run. As to your comment: Is it a good idea to run this game on a business laptop like an HP probook? If it's not designed for gaming, it's usually not a good idea to run games on it. For multiple reasons: Your laptop's keyboard may not support pressing more than 3 keys simultaneously, while the game may require 4 or more simultaneous keys being pressed. Your laptop's cooling may not be designed for high-performance situations (especially for extended periods of time). This can cause unexpected reboots and even damage your PC in the worst case. Your laptop could perform better with the same specs, if it was designed for gaming. For instance, by including 2 smaller memory modules in a dual-channel configuration, compared to a single big one (twice the memory bandwidth).

The New Vegas Wikia notes a potential bug with this quest (verified on the PS3 release, although I imagine the same script issue occurs across platforms): If certain choices are made in dialogue, it is impossible to reason with Mobius and killing him becomes the only option, even if the correct skill checks are completed. They suggest attempting the Repair check as a way to un-bug the dialog tree and get the "non-lethal" options back. If that fails, you'd probably have to reload an earlier save. Past this quest, there's no real interaction with Mobius, so unless you really want a particular outcome from this quest, I'd probably suggest moving on if fixing it would be painful. There aren't any achievements, perks, items, etc, you'll miss out on.

Luck: I haven't found any official confirmation of exactly what the percentages are for the influence of Luck, but I've the standard advice for high (9 or 10) Luck builds at Blackjack is to basically always hit at 18 or below, always stand on a 19 or 20, Split 16's and double down on 11's, and you will always come out very far ahead. Based on anecdotal information, it seems as though the impact of luck may be at least somewhat exponential, as I can't say I've had that level of success running with 5, 6, or 7 (the highest I've taken a character to the tables with.) Deck: It's a shoe at Gomorrah at the very least, though I can't say how many decks, reshuffled for every hand. The main thing to keep in mind is that the odds of a 10 are extremely high when it's just you and the dealer. Push: You're imagining things. In the event of a Push, you'll get your bet back, but you won't win any additional caps. That said, each Casino does have it's own house rules. At Gomorrah, the Dealer is required to hit on a soft 17. At Ultra-Luxe and The Tops, the dealer will always stand on a 17.

From what I've seen (and according to the strategy guide), they are all standard across casinos and the odds work just like a regular casino: you will lose over the long term. The only way to win is by cheating (reloading a save) or with a high luck. At high luck (7 and above), if you get a "cricital hit" while slotting, you will automatically win. But even with a 9 luck, I had to cheat to gain back 10,000 lost!

See here. For Fallout 3 (and New Vegas) By crouching near a brahmin and pressing the activate button you will push the brahmin over, causing it to go into a ragdoll state and getting back on its feet in a couple of seconds. You will not lose any Karma for doing this, nor will anyone or anything become hostile. Be warned that repeating this action may cause the brahmin to die. Even after it dies, no one becomes hostile and you do not lose Karma. You may also loot the body for brahmin steak.

It's the system in which you can pause the action a take aim at specific body parts, with known percentage of hitting them, and with each action costing a specific amount of "action points" (AP). It stands for "Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting system", but mostly it Gives a more cinematic feel when using it, due to the slow-motion action sequence after choosing a target. Makes the game closer to earlier, turn-based Fallout games in which you could target specific body parts with known percentages, paying with action points, in a very similar way. Gives the game a more RPG-ish, tactical feel than a typical shooter. Makes the game easier / less stressful. You can read more about it on Wikia's Fallout, Gamespy and even Wikipedia.

No, most of the times merchant inventory is stored in an external inaccessible container. Here is the relevant quote from the wiki: Most merchant inventories are stocked using external containers stored in a hidden cell which refreshes their contents every three days. However, in some instances merchants will have their container stored in a different cell, often the same cell they are in. If the container is not properly flagged as a quest item it will not refresh its contents unless the player is in the same cell. Gloria Van Graff and Torres are affected by this issue.

You can create a partition, there is no need to format whole drive. Yes, you can redownload all your games. PS+ save game data is only for your saved games, trophies are associated with your account, and as long as they synchronized you can't lose anything. And yes, you can restore all that to new console.

You can totally start your X3 experience with Terran Conflict. The background you need about the history of the universe is provided by the many informative texts in the game, if you want to read them all - but you can also skip them and still enjoy the game. As has been said in the comments, X3's not Skyrim, it is much less focused on scenarized quests and universe history.

If you've truly obtained Private Edwards' dog tags, then there's nothing to do but to carefully search each of the bodies to see if you've missed taking the tags off of one. Otherwise, it's possible that you're encountering this bug, listed in the Bugs section of Nukapedia's page on this quest: Occasionally, speaking with Edwards won't present any special dialogue options (intimidation, attacking Astor, etc.), and his dogtag will not be in the inventory if you kill him. The marker on the map will show the center of town, but no ghouls or corpses will be present making it impossible to complete this quest. PC users can use player.additem 0013fe77 1 to add a dogtag to your inventory, which can be presented to Astor for the reward. Alternatively, go back to the house where Private Edwards was and look around on the floor, you may sometimes find the 10th set of dogtags lying on the floor.

Yes, you can get ballistic weave without aligning with the Railroad past the point of no return. Based on my experience and the Fallout Wiki page on Ballistic Weave, you have to complete two quests (Boston After Dark from Dr. Carrington and Mercer Safehouse from P.A.M.) to unlock the Railroad radiant quest, "Jackpot: {Location}". The Jackpot quests are given by P.A.M. There are three locations these quests can send you to. Hub 360 Medford Memorial Hospital Pinnacle Highrise After finishing one of these quests, you might be prompted to talk to Tinker Tom about Ballistic Fiber technology found in the cache you recovered. If not, you'll have to continue with the next Jackpot quest. Most importantly, all of these quests are available before alignment needs to be chosen. The only quest of this chain that actually had any true Railroad story or impact is Boston After Dark (and the prerequisite quest, Tradecraft). Mercer Safehouse is a simple settlement establishment quest, and Jackpot quests are radiant fetch quests.

This seems to be a bug in 18w43c and possibly some earlier versions: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-138337 Mobs don't spawn above the highest block that was naturally generated with the world. I don't know why this happens, this is a really weird bug. Some people started analysing the code a bit, but it'll likely take a while until it's properly figured out. For now I would recommend to stay on 1.12.2, it's the best performing and least buggy version. For more details and reasons, see this answer.
