Can't repair structures when attacking enemy stronghold

So infurating! When playing Dawn of War: Dark Crusade as the Space Marines, I can't repair my structures with servitors. The servitors go up to the structure, the repair animation plays but the structure's HP does not go up an inch.

Like I say, it works fine when playing normal maps... just when I go up against a stronghold I can't repair my structures!

Is this a known glitch? Really irritating.

I'm pretty sure they drop more often while you're fighting large battles because there are more enemies in those battles to drop the items. It's a matter of perception that they drop more often, not a boost in the rate. For example, if you fight two enemies, you have a 2 chances of getting an item. If you're fighting 20 enemies, you have ten times as many chances.

I agree with Unionhawk. I suspect you have toggled the heads-up display. Press F1 to toggle it again. Usually this is used to turn the display off so that screen shots can be taken without the display.

You can usually see the attacks from a previous war. To do that, do to your clan window, and tap on 'War Log': From there, you will be able to see the recent replays: From the above for example, I can see the replays from the war against 'Jari Emas', but not from the previous ones, but that's because war details become unavailable after some time, or after an update. So, if you must keep track of who participates, it's better if you periodically check replays before they get erased by time or updates (which are more difficult to cope with for that particular task).

The auras given by the Soldier's banner buffs have these color schemes: RED: golden-yellow glow BLU: cyan-aquamarine glow Whereas the auras given by the Medicating Melody or Quick-Fix ÜberCharge are standard red and blue in color respectively. A player being buffed by the Buff Banner will have a weapon glowing the same color as the aura, so a RED player for example will have both a golden-yellow aura and a golden-yellow weapon. A player being buffed by the other banners won't have a glowing weapon. Telling a Battalion's Backup buff from a Concheror buff is more difficult: if you're looking at the Soldier who deployed the banner, he'll be carrying a different flag; see Retrosaur's answer for what the banners look like. However, if he isn't visible, you won't be able to tell which of the two buffs his teammates have received unless you heard the horn, or until you engage them in battle. The difference between a Medicating Melody and a Quick-Fix ÜberCharge is that the latter will also shower the Medic and his patient with sprinkling healing crosses, not to mention the presence of a healing beam. From what I've observed, all auras pulsate at the same frequency.

Yes- I just tested it. You can pause with the pause-break key and give orders while the game is paused, which are carried out when you unpause. The Paused notification is unobtrusive white text that doesn't get in the way.

If you are playing on PC, there is a much simpler, no-download way to do this. Press the tilde key (~) on your keyboard while in-game and increase your level with the command: player.advlevel This will increase your level by 1. You can stack them by typing: player.advlevel The following is an excerpt from UESP: ...you are not given the option to increase an attribute and you are not awarded any perk points, nor, obviously will not have any of your skills improved... so if you're a Tamriel veteran and have already cranked the difficulty to "Master" but still crave more of a challenge, using advlevel to add ~10 levels to your character should certainly make the enemies more difficult. EDIT: As Raven Dreamer said, this will only apply to leveled enemies.

I cannot say that I have ever managed/bothered to slag Saturn, but some larger bosses - like BNK-3R (aka bunker) and the Warrior - will get slagged without showing a graphic (turning purple). They still take the increased damage, but you only know they are slagged because their health suddenly falls much easier. These bosses tend to shake off that slag much faster than normal mobs however, so you will just have to judge when it wears off based on your damage output. Terramorphous can be slagged, and will show it (turn purple) but he has serious resistance so you will need a high slag % chance weapon; and the slag does NOT last long (2 seconds tops). Your best bet in single player is to use slag granades (slag bouncing betty's tend to be best, as each projectile they fire has a slag chance and they spray tons of them), and use your best DPS gun to do all you can in that 2 seconds he is slagged. In co-op have one person use a high slag % chance (the "Slagga" SMG does well) and the other player(s) stick to DPS. Vermi is essentially slag-proof. You MAY manage to slag him with a 70% slag chance sniper rifle or alike, but the slag wears off nearly instantly. I would say get his attention on a crystalisk and then back waaaaaaaay off and hope to avoid aggro... well, that or get him in Tundra Express and get the train to hit him. That's always good for a laugh. To my knowlege, the only "slag-proof" enemies in the game are mobs that already have "slagged" in their name (ex: slagged stalker, slagged spiderant, slagged rakk, and maybe the Slag Dragon (Boost?) in Tina's DLC), and (aside from that dragon) they tend to have pretty poor hp and defense so just mow 'em down with a fire wep and move on.

If you end an encounter with a peaceful resolution, there's no way to manually force an attack. The only option is to move on. The Friendly Slaver event has a special "blue" option if you have a level 2 teleporter where you can get a crew member and initiate combat. However, as I mentioned, there's no way to choose a different outcome once you've completed the event.

Mobility is the key. Hit and run, use your abiities smart and whatever you do, don't waste energy. That said, don't be so overly cautious with energy that you never use it, but don't spam rok strikes on single guys or summon dreadnoughts when you already have one. You should already know the effectiveness of blitzing one entrance at the start before everything merges into one massive crapstorm in the middle. A great stratergy is to kite your enemies around the outsides of the board, turning every once in a while to fire of shots etc. Wave 20 is terribly difficult and it's annoying to fail after you've gotton so far. Once it starts, try to link up with your teammates as soon as possible, negotiate an entrance beforehand and try move to it around the outside of the board, as fast as you can. A farseer's group teleport can certainly help to move teamates rapidly around the board. I do recommend a suppression weapon in wave 20. And all the minions you can muster. Forms of confuse can make a great impact as well. Finally, superabilities; Orbital Strikes, Roks, and Eldritch Storms can truly turn the tide of all the battles from wave 17 onwards, they are espacially deadly when coupled with suppression or knockdown weapons. Remember however, whatever you put on your hero will be thrown back in your face at wave 16.

The answer is: No, Wukong only gains these bonuses for visible champions within range, so stealthed champions or champions hiding inside a bush in which Wukong has no vision do not activate his passive. Still, you could theoretically get some useful meta-information from this ability! In case you were facing an enemy Wukong Wukong is a staple solotop laner, and as such he has to be very careful about the possibility of suffering a gank from the enemy jungler (which in this hypothetical situation would be your team's jungler). As a consequence, solotops tend to place a ward in a couple of critical bushes in the river in order to get some map awareness. If you suspect that the enemy Wukong has placed a ward in one of these key bushes, you could enter them while Wukong stays relatively close (you do not want to give him an easy kill, and after all the radius of activation from his passive ability is 1400, which is quite large) and notify whether or not the status icon associated to his passive disappears (you can see it if you move the cursor over the enemy champion). If it does not disappear, that means that the enemy Wukong retains vision inside those bushes... Which means that they are probably warded. And then you could warn your jungler not to waste his precious time waiting to gank him

I'm far from an expert on Dawn of War, but since no one else is answering, here goes... For a new player, the Space Marines are probably the easiest to learn. They don't have any unique game mechanics to master (like the Necrons' power-but-no-requisition or the Orks' WAAAGH!), and they don't depend as much on micromanaged special abilities and carefully balanced unit mixtures (like the Eldar or Imperial Guard). Try the following (approximate) order: Queue a couple of Scout Troopers and a Servitor. As soon as the Scout Troopers are done, send them to start capturing strategic points. Queue up a couple of strategic points each to keep them busy. Set one Servitor to work on a Chapel-Barracks and the other on a Power Plant. Send whichever one is available to build Listening Posts once your scouts have finished capturing strategic points. A listening post costs 100 req, but once it's complete, you immediately gain 50 req, so it's cheaper than it appears, and they're critical in the long term for a good economy. Set your Chapel-Barracks to build a squad of Space Marines and the Force Commander. Attach the commander to the space marine squad. Reinforce the squad. Build a second squad if resources permit. Use your space marines + commander to harass the enemy or defend your base. Use your scouts to de-capture any strategic points that they've left undefended. Next, it's time to advance to the next tier: upgrade your Stronghold to a Monastery, and build an Armory. Now the fun starts. Research Heavy Weapon Increase at the armoury, and outfit all of your space marine squads with the appropriate weaponry: plasma guns for heavy infantry opponents like Necrons and Space Marines, heavy bolters for infantry like Eldar, and missile launchers for buildings and vehicles. Build Gray Knights and attach the Chaplain for an easy quick-hitting melee unit. To keep the gameplay even simpler, you can postpone building the Machine Cult and focus on the Sacred Artifact instead. Using one exclusively probably isn't an optimal strategy, but it lets you stay focused on infantry instead of having to juggle vehicles as well. RelicWiki has more information.

You can use the surgery patient in Dr. Zed's office if you have not yet accepted the mission "Do no Harm." As long as you do not touch this mission, the surgery patient can be shot and will let you gain stacks indefinitely. Given that you asked in the context of a host that has not yet done the Rock, Paper, Genocide missions, there is a good chance they have not done this Zed quest either, thus leaving the surgery patient available for building stacks. For an extra bonus, there is an ammo machine just outside the door to Zed's office.

Yes actually there is... it goes something like as follows: The space marines ultimately win (boring I know, but hey, the game creators love to play favorites), they destroy chaos, then orks, then tau without any problems, they then suffer heavy casualties against the eldar, and the commander ultimately defeats the necron lord, at great personal cost (he kinda gets his face chewed) So... yeah that's something like what happened (Look at the necromancy skills)
