If I have the Officer Training School upgrade Lead by Example and I have squad of 6 colonels, who will be the leader of the squad?

The highest ranked unit is your squad leader. If two or more units have the same rank, the foremost-unit on the squad-selection screen is taken to be the leader.

With 6 colonels, this is always the third unit.

They cannot exceed five and wont. This is actually a 'tactic' in playing XCom. If you get any further missions this month, you should let the "5 panic" countries pass, since any extra panic will not be added. Note: This does not apply to Terror missions; if you skip a "terror" mission the targeted country will leave the program right then and there.

You get to try intercepting a UFO if you have an interceptor assigned to the continent where the UFO is spotted (this assumes at least one deployed satellite, of course, or else you wouldn't spot the UFO). To the best of my knowledge you always get a chance to intercept when these conditions are met. Did you not have any interceptors assigned in the problem location, by chance? Or is the UFO landing before the Interceptor can catch it? If it's the latter, yes better tech can help (the Firestorm is much faster than the starting Interceptors). As per comments on this answer some UFOs are just detected as landed (I don't recall having seen any but that doesn't mean much). If so, I'm not sure there is anything you can do if satellite coverage on the continent is already maxed. I haven't seen any detection upgrades (the Hyperwave Decoder has a completely different function in this game than in the original). So, yeah, SOL.

This is possible. Go to the screen that allows you to edit the squad schedule. [military then schedule] Select the squad you want. [Using left and right arrows] Select the month. [Up and down arrows] Press the "tab" key to select a month. Use e to edit orders. o to set them. When editing/setting orders you can use [+ and -] to change how many Dwarves will follow that order at once. Change it to 3. (You can also set preferred Dwarves here who will be selected first to do the order.) Press [shift + enter] to save the order for that month. Use [c then p] to copy then paste the orders to other months. (Remember to give them months off.) Source

Yes, you can knock aliens unconscious and keep their weapons intact if you don't build Alien Containment. I found this out the hard way when I finally zapped a Thin Man and then learned to my dismay I'd forgotten to build the containment facility. After the mission when you get back to base, you'll simply get a message stating that the alien expired, and thus won't be able to do any interrogation of it.

Unfortunately you can't change the order of the numbered actions, but you can press Y for overwatch. There is also B for Hunker Down, R for Reload and X for switching weapons. These keys also have the advantage that they perform the action immediately without an additional confirmation. You can change these hotkeys under Esc->Options->Interface->Tactical Shortcuts.

This is your soldiers hearing enemy movement. It indicates (in general terms) where the aliens are. I've found from experience that usually only the closest soldier to the aliens will get this "hearing" event, and only if the aliens are moving on their turn. The aliens tend to mill about even if they're not actively patrolling, but not as often.

As far as I can tell, there is no UFOpedia anywhere in the game. In stead, the information is sprinkled around the game, to more or less appropriate places. Research and Engineering screens house the largest collections of data. The Research Archives have all the research results in them and have a rather detailed description of most things that go though your Research Lab. However, no actual stats can be found here. The Build/Buy Items menu has a wealth of information on everything you can build yourself. Besides the flavor texts obviously visible, actual stats for an item (where appropriate) can be found by pressing the question mark button on in the lower left corner. Rest of the information is more out of the way. More item stats can be found via the Solider Layout screen, by pressing the icon on the lower left corner of the item's picture, be that in the Inventory or the Locker. This is also the only way to see stats on equipment you don't build yourself, like basic weapons and granades. Clicking on any ship in the Hangar Ship List gives you acces to the stats on your available ship weapons, including Avalance Missles that you can't find in the Engineering. Click either Weapon Info or Edit Layout. You can also find some info on the ships themselves, altough they don't have any accurate stats. Gray Market in the Situation Room gives you a bit more flavor text on some items. The rest, including complete lists of accurate alien abilities, can be found in combat by targeting an alien and clicking More Info on the thing that shows your chanses of hitting it. You'll also find more info on your own soliders' abilities by clicking the Solider Info button in lower left corner, next to the turn end button. Or, just by hitting F1.

Short answer: No. I can find no evidence of a will cap. Here are two screenshots indicating that Durand's will is well above 150. This is on a Classic difficulty, EW save I found laying around. Furthermore, I conducted in-combat testing. Megaera (152 will, counting medals, as reported in-mission) had a 82% chance to Mindfray and 52% chance to Mind Control an Ethereal. Durand (181 will, same method) had a 100% chance to Mindfray the same Ethereal, and an 81% chance to Mind Control. Using Psi Inspire to improve Durand's Will to 211 raised the odds of Mind Control to 100%. If Durand (squad leader) walks near Megaera, Lead By Example changes his in-game will and success percentages to be equal to Durand's, even if she was Psi Inspired and he not. As to the second question regarding Mind Shields, it is of course advantageous for each soldier to carry an individual mind shield - both for defense and offense. However, note that you cannot equip more than one Mind Shield on the same soldier. In order to be a village there needs to be at least 1 villager and a door. The Minecraft village zone is a circle that radiates from the center of the village. The center of the village is the block where the coordinates of all the doors in the village average out. Just make a best guess about the center of your village and you won't be far off. To calculate how far you'd need to move your villager, count how many blocks the farthest door is from the village center and go a few blocks further to be safe. If the distance to the farthest door is less than 32 blocks, then use 32 blocks as your minimum distance. You can also dig out a hole beneath the Nitwit (the name for the green-robed villagers) and pour in lava. You will kill him and not make the rest of the villagers aggressive.

Yes. If you get Destiny on a PS4, you will be able to play your character on both the PS3 and PS4. You won't be able to move from Playstation to Xbox, however. Just like hopping worlds, you can use the same Guardian on Next Gen and Legacy Gen consoles – so long as you stay in the same system. Ergo, you can move from PlayStation to PlayStation and from Xbox to Xbox, but not across product lines. From Bungie

If you don't do anything, you'll simply stay in your campaign for the next duration (and so on). However, you can just open the campaign window and pick a new Home Campaign. (as you did). Once doing so, you'll be asked, whether you want to switch immediately or after the end of the current campaign duration (the later is cheaper). You can just tell the game to switch once the campaign is over (pick the non-veteran campaign). Once your current campaign is over, you'll switch Home Campaigns as selected. Till then, just assign your Guest Campaign to the non-veteran campaign. This way you're able to join that one as well (but you can't become emperor there and won't profit off its bonuses while outside Cyrodiil).

It seems to depend on what game mode you are playing. If you are playing story mode alone, Mario seems to be required in the party. According to one GameFAQ, if you are playing coop, you may choose your leader. In the story mode campaign, Mario's always on the team, as he's the team leader. Whenever I play co-op with a friend, it's the two of you working together, and you each choose your own character, so in co-op, you can use anybody and Mario's not restricted. Another article for the game mentions that he cannot be swapped out: Mario, who cannot be swapped out of your roster, is more of an all-rounder: he carries a blaster, a hammer, and can stomp on his enemies. I would try out the coop mode if you have another person to play with, otherwise, it seems like Mario is always going to be there.
